  2. My dearest friends, This year of living has gone by so fast, it seems the older I get the faster the years go by. I know I will have little issue continuing at this pace, as it is forced upon me. I feel like I have grown a significant amount this past year.   4. Test server is an even better idea! Data corruption can happen even when bits are just sitting idle on disk, they also can happen when the server autonomously copies it self at regular intervals, and to give you credit it's true you can mess it up just by moving it but if hardware is going to fail in that manner and it fails by copying it today then its going to fail by copying it tomorrow...... catch 22. Anyways whatever happens happens, it just sucks but the right thing to do is hit the ground with a 4/29 save. I still am lost as to how OLD data gets mixed in with NEW data.

(in game engine) its able to turn on this in graphic's card settings 1024x768 Fullscreen -> on 22" screen which supports 2550x1440 ... image get streched because of my graphic card supports it ... LMAO for fixing this firsival fix UI scaling on screen ressolution for 1024 recoil is smaller then for 2550 like almost 2 times check it with Colby .45

  8. Please help me compile a full list! Most of these suggestions have been said already, but I am going to make a list like Santa - but you can check it twice. *I want to thank the devs for resolving a few issues already, like adding Scav Sam and Colorful Creeper back to the pet box (and other fixes), and for adding a few new GM's. Thank You! 1. Stack Splitting - since the fix for stack splitting is a big task, why not have a temporary work around until then? Simply make all non-sellable items now have a merchant value of at least 1 chip. Now all items can be exchanged via merchants and all stacks can be split using this workaround method. 2. Hit Boxes - The only good toon in this game is the smallest female toon you can create. But since that isn't explained to new users, they spend weeks leveling a huge male toon, only to discover they wasted their time and must start all over with a new tiny female toon. This is a big problem. I suggest the hit boxes be 1 size fits all OR give more defense to bigger hit boxes. - "Or simply make an injector or another way to change gender." - Kishoot 3. Auction Chat - at the moment it appears Auction Chat is only regional and that means I can't trade with lower level players that aren't in my current region. It makes no sense at all. But using Global for auction chat gets you scalded by a GM, so... the only thing to do is travel to each region spamming auction chat all over the game using the regional auction chat option. Not good. 4. Splash Screens - something as simple as swapping out an image should be done overnight and it's one of the first things that should have been done. Why? because it immediately sends a message to everyone logging in that L.O. is making changes, it can be used to advertise or update players on the game state, and can be used to identify current events - like xmas and halloween. 'A picture says a thousand words' and updates players without forcing them into the forum to find out what is happening. I suggest stamping it with a new L.O. logo. 5. Items - Unattune Kit (untradable) in the marketplace is the #1 new item idea that players instantly claim they will buy (at $5 each). Need I say more? - L.O. T-Shirt to be redeemed through the marketplace, with a code given to all active accounts. Nothing like free advertising, and a T-Shirt is the most basic of items you can add. - [Portable Lifenet Pod] that I can set near an area that I want to scavenge or grind. Then I can fast travel back and forth from my pod to any LN Facility on the map that I have activated. 6. Social Media - you need a newly updated Facebook (if you don't already) and some reason to get players to go there, like a free item or monthly premium award. (Twitter is currently semi-active, good start) 7. Premium Rewards - not only bringing a nice rotation of premium rewards back (for now), but also to someday add NEW items for only premium members who have paid for a subscription. New content is what drives the economy of the top game in todays market, FortNite, which also has the 'Free To Play with Cosmetic Purchases' business model. Once new content slows down, so do sales. 8. Chip Limit - raise the 'visible' chip limit to 99y in the players pack and also to 99y in trade windows. At the moment, you must send 9.99y at a time to an alt and count the emails to see how many chips you have (above 10y), and to trade more than 10y right now means you have to pay 10y at a time on trust. I can't think of a reason not to fix this. 9. Armored Horses - it would be totally awesome to have the old Wasteland Runner again, or the Portland Runner Armor. I believe those old horses could be painted as well. I noticed that the Stable Manager has a paint option, yet no stable items can currently be painted. _______________________________ Below are some requests which may be resolved with a new game engine, or may take some extra work beyond what is possible anytime soon: _______________________________ 10. Anti-Cheat System - this is one of the more code intensive fixes that I believe will be resolved within the newly developed game engine (when it arrives) 11. Missions - a lot of them have unbalanced rewards or are entirely broken 12. Weapon and Armor Choices - most weapons and armor are useless once you reach level 55 except the new AP weapons and GT Armor. It is recommended that G.O.R.E. be balanced with AP to add more variety, along with adding more choices. Inluding choices for Heavy Weapons, Automatic Rifles/Pistols, Crossbow, and other builds that were left behind. 13. Factions - have lost their luster and are almost meaningless at this point. That said, when there were hundreds or even thousands of players, I think the experience was a bit more on par with what people expected. 14. In-game notice/info board for player run events - this could be a simple sign with a generic icon to be clicked by players within the game. It could automatically open up the events sub-forum when clicked (like how the poker chip in the menu can open up the marketplace web page), where event listings can be monitored and not abused. The link may never have to be updated unless the events sub-forum page is moved. 15. Steam Trading Cards - as suggested in this posting: 16. New Vehicle - a truck. There are already truck models in the game. Just add a Vandal vehicle script, and BAM! a truck is made. A few simple paint jobs and decals, and you have several new items. 17. Trinket Models In-World - this idea is actually neat. Make an attachable area on the player model to display the currently equipped trinket with an in-world model. I think this will be far off because it will actually require a professional 3D modeler to use the images from the icon and build it into a low polygon, low texture, displayable item. And possibly some sort of physics to dangle around while you move. But I still love the idea. Dome Upgrade - Wouldn't it be cool if the Dome was actually in-world, maybe in Epsilon (where not much is going on), and other players could spectate? It would have to be set up as instances to work (like many team missions that currently exist). Then, players could learn by watching, and even pay a small chip admission to attend. I would be in the stands "Booo! Your doing it wrong!" =P - And speaking of Dome, I think the old Dev/GM names on the level 10 bosses should be swapped out with current names, that is, unless it's more appropriate to shoot the old devs in the face to take out those aggressions (in the game of course). - "Add bots in "blood Sports" in all its levels, although in 2011 it was always active in all its levels, now nobody plays. This would add more gameplay to the game, being the bots not very difficult to kill could train the new players." - Aura Croft 19. Daily Rewards - a player in-game suggested that we be given a reward for logging in with activity each day. This could be calculated by hours of play (like steam card drops) or just simply by logging in after 24 hours has passed again. The reward could be in the form of Reward Points to be redeemed in the marketplace, which would promote frequent player logins and drive more traffic to the marketplace. 20. Combined Loot Window - a player suggested that loot from multiple enemy kills should be combined into 1 window to make looting easier. Other games, such as 'Lord of the Rings Online', do this well. And while the idea sounds great, it could prove to be challenging in multiplayer where teams and raids share the kills. Maybe someone has ideas that could make this possible. I am also concerned about whether or not L.O. would want to do this, because they need 'boost' items, like harvest boosters, to generate funds in a FTP game. But it's stil worth discusing further. 21. Faction leader - "... this person could be like a moderator of the chat 'Faction' and could regulate the asset in each faction (being able to throw from the faction to possible cheaters or very toxic people), making the game more correct, protected and addictive, given the belonging to each faction, making this the most important value and a social role." - Aura Croft - " simply add raids for factions which have two difficulties. One easy as fuck, the other with stronger NPCs where players might need to focus specific NPCs or crossheal properly to survive. This way you add a repeatable method to earn faction, besides simply killing NPCs, still earn faction/xp but can add a proper payout as well. Then of course it also adds at least something to group play besides Citadel." - Reaps989 22. Blood Sports - "Remove Assault, Remove Deathmatch, Remove Survival. Add team deathmatch, then simply lower requirements to start a match to 4 players rather than 5. This will stop team-stacking." - Reaps989 23. Premium Prices - lower the cost of premium again by almost half until the game is redeveloped. 24. Customizable Farms - allow paint kits to be used on the player built farms, so the interior and/or exterior can be painted. Also allow the scarecrow to be customized, and possibly the furniture textures. 25. Transit System - I love the idea of waiting for the buss, the paying some chips to ride it to another town. The whole team can ride together and pick seats on the buss. OR a train that circles the wastelands - and if you are willing to take some damage you can jump off of the moving train. AND a crumbled monorail system already exists - you could do town events to restore it and only the controlling faction can ride the monorail thru pvp areas. 26. Hairstyles Tab - Currently, the button to change hairstyles is positioned on all tabs, but only works from the Wardrobe Tab. 27. Minigames - Sunshine Corners basketball court and tennis ball court would make perfect locations for minigames. There are also a few broken rollercoaster theme parks throughout the wastelands where it would be awesome to do a town event to get the theme park running again! People have also suggested that Black Jack return, but as I recall, it was removed due to player exploits and a possible gray area in gambling. If players pay cash for G1C and buy items from the marketplace, sell them to get chips, then blow those chips on Black Jack in FE; it could be considered gambling. 28. Mutant (or other) Player Models - As suggested in this thread, it would be pretty cool if you could start as a Mutant or other modified humanoid. My only concern is that the player model should match the storyline, and if I choose to be a Shiva Mutant then I must be a Shiva follower. The game isn't currently set up for the player direction to split that far into an enemy role, but possibly a reformed enemy spy?   9. The OCA-EW 626-SD Silverado is a shadow of it's former self. There was a time when it was op (like most things) Then it became balanced Now it's broken. The current 17.5m range doesn't help, the limited 22 mag means you need to make sure you are on target and the bloom is a killer. Plus the current server performance it simply feels like your rounds disappear.
  10. I know my latency should be sitting on 190ms-200ms. But I believe my latency is affected on how the server is being configured. Apparently, when the server is being unstable I get back my original latency 190ms. But when the server is stabled i get 290ms? added extra 100ms I notice the two difference between yesterday and today. I usually get 190ms before this bs lag ever happened. I just got my new laptop and APB in a normal fighting district always crash on me this is the 6th time! in the social district and 12deaths of Christmas, it worked just fine but not in financial.     Ironic pie time. Compensation costs money. Money that could be used to remedy the problem rendering compensation unnecessary. Catch-22 (i think i'm doing it right) If they paid for everytime (you made me lose my premium time) that would be a weekly payment (every Wednesday is patch day) There's compensation then there's entitled. The ddos was compensated when it was taking servers off for hours at a time (multiple times in a day infact). LO is a different company last thing you would want is them to have less money. And premium is optional. What did you lose in "3 days" some apb cash from "winning" in missions some standing and a couple extra random drops mostly icon's. Let them work, they care more about fixing the problem then paying people to play a free game.

Hello LO, We are aware that you are aware of the current log in issues for APB (Error 9), and that you are looking into the issue for like 22 hours now, and that you are thankful for our patience (we sure have shown that we have it), but most of us would be thankful if you would update us any time soon, not because we need to know (for who knows what reason) when the issue should be resolved or to have an ETA for that, but so we could know when can we be able to play it again because from your last message, it seemed like you were going to solve it in a few moments and since then we don't know where we are at. And ofc I dont say that the issue can be resolved right now or in 22 hours or days but it would be cool to be asap or, like I said, some info about it. Greetings and thank you!
  14. Hello everyone , thank you for giving me your time to read this post . So before talking about stats , every person that touched an EOL noticed something about them , their gameplay is unique and not comparable to any other weapons in APB , they are explosives , but with a faster gameplay added to them . I myself use the "Kickback" varient of EOL a lot and i think it's a great gun , but there's something that bothers me about EOLs , it's that only kickback is able to to fullfill what it was made for , EOL "Deep Impact" Feels okay but is still lacking power in multiple aspects (will go into more details after...), the EOL "Hammer" is by far the worse EOL of all three , it fails at doing everything that it was supposed to do and at the moment , almost any player would agree that kickback is just a better hammer . So here i will be proposing some changes to the EOL Series to make each varient much better at what it was designed for : Changes to all varients of EOL's : -Make all varients two slotted First of all , one of the things that bothers me , not only kickback is the most powerfull version of the EOL at the moment , but it's also the only one that has two modifications slots avaliable, eols already have modding limitations due to them being launchers thus unnafected by most mods and also have a preset red mod on them , having only a single modification slot on Hammer and Deep impact havely restrains people to make the weapon fit their needs or likings . -Increase their stored ammo by 35-50% EOLs being faster paced explosive weapons will burn ammo much faster than classical explosives , i'd suggest increasing their stored ammo by 35 to 50% (Effect equivalent to bandolier 2 or 3) to make them stand longer in fights without having to live near an ammo box , an OPGL as an exemple , has the same ammount of ammo but is a much slower weapon thus will be able to stand for longer than EOLs . Here's what the values would look like : [Link to the spreadsheet] EOL "The Hammer" This varient of EOL is equipped with the "Percussion 40mm Grenade" stating the following : "Adaptations to fire percussion style grenades that arm after a very short duration in the air. These do medium damage over an short blast radius." I want you guys to keep an eye on the underlined part of that text , the reason people doesn't like the Hammer varient of EOL is because it doesn't fire the grenades people expect it to , the mod itself actually contradicts it's own effect , why does percussion grenades arm after a short duration in the air ? doesn't percussion grenades you throw by hand are live as soon as they leave the hand ? , so why can "percussion" grenades bounce using the hammer ? Here's the change im suggesting for the Hammer varient of EOLs to make it do the role it's supposed to : -Make the grenades live as soon as they leave the barrel -Increase the flight speed of the grenades by 20% Those changes will make the hammer act similar to the "Egg launcher" that was avaliable when the "drug mule" dynamic event was still ingame , not as strong of course but a similar gameplay , and make the gun act like people expect it to , but those changes also raises more concerns as the weapon would suddentely become much easier to use and make it too strong which is why i would also do this : -Reduce the maximum damage radius to 150cm (compared to 225 currently) The current version of the hammer has a blast radius of 550cm , and deals full damage (535) in a 225cm radius , wich would make it way too easy to use with actual percussion grenades , this change would make it so that user actually needs to aim and track his opponent and not just spam grenades as much as he can until something dies. All those changes to the hammer would make it an actual percussion launcher that is much more usable for anti personnel purposes . EOL "Deep Impact" This varient of EOL is equipped with the "Concussion 40mm Grenades" stating the following "Adaptations to fire concussion style grenades that arm after a medium duration in the air. These bounce very little and do extreme damage to targets caught in their small blast radius, especially vehicles." As the description says , this varient of EOL is strong against vehicles but can also deal heavy damage to players by sacrificing speed . Im a huge fan of the grenade not bouncing wich makes placement of the grenade much easier considering you only have a single grenade in the magazine , the problem in that weapon is it's just not a threat to most vehicle users , currently the Deep imact only deals 1,108.8 Hard damage wich sounds like a lot , but is actually quite low , most medium cars in APB have more than 1100 health , at the moment deep impact is a true threat only to light vehicles (wich are mostly fast thus harder to hit) so here's my suggestion : -Increase deep impact's hard damage to 1,227.6 Why such an odd number you might ask , well that number is the same as a weapon that every driver would fear ! the OSMAW , so yes , im proposing to make deep imact's hard damage equal to the OSMAW so people would truely fear that weapon when they are driving a vehicle . Another thing that i noticed using Deep impact is that the windup is a bit longer (0.73) , wich makes the weapon really feel slow as it already has a longer reload time , currently the deep impact feels like an slower version of the hand concussion grenades, which it should , but i think it is slightly too slow . -Lower the windup to 0.63 seconds The deep impact is a weapon that is very hard to use for anti personel purposes , so it should at least be a bit more forgiving at being anti vehicle , lowering the windup of deep impact would make leading grenades on vehicles slightly easier , as the windup is already a handicap to hit a moving vehicle . -Lower arming time of the grenade so it becomes armed after 20-22 meters Currently the mod description of deep impact states a meduim arming time , while it's clearly much longer than the kickback/hammer varient , im suggesting this change to be able to use the deep impact at longer ranges a bit easier to destroy moving vehicles while keeping the arming time long enough to not be an issue in anti personel combat . right now the grenade will become armed only after flying about 25 meters making vehicle targeting very hard as you have to take into acount the windup , and the travel time already , this is a very slight change but that would make deep impact a bit more convinient to use. EOL "Kickback" Well , i got nothing to say for this one , as it's literally the only EOL that does it's job in a decent way. So this is it , those are the changes im proposing to make the EOL series a bit more intresting and unique to play , in my opinion those guns are very special , but they needed a bit more tweaking to fulfill their roles better . Do not hesitate to share you opinion , i honestly first thought about adding more magazine size to the weapons , but it would need much more tweaking if so or end up way too strong so i ditched that idea. Oh yeah also fix this : the name of the mod is missing an "s" after "Grenade" , both kickback and deep impact have it in the end
  15. What ever happened to the VWP? I was looking to buy it again on my new account and couldn't find it, assumed I was crazy and it never existed. Then on a whim I looked at the purchase history on my old account and sure enough, here it was. Vital Weapons Pack (Account Lifetime) 1,039 G1C 2015-08-11 22:19G1 Credits Why was this removed? The more important question, can it come back? It provided some basic weapons including the: NTEC-5 Joker SR15 Carbine JG-840 OCA-EW 626 N-HVR 762 These basic no mod weapons are perfect for casual players like me that play once in a while and want to be able to do Joker challenges (and with the basic tutorial completed, the choosing of the Shaw has all the basics covered) without buying temporary weapons or purchasing extremely expensive premium ones. It would be a nice way to introduce new buyers into Armas as well. However unlikely since this is supposed to be business, but if these weapons were to be given for completing say the advanced tutorial, would also be neat but I don't see that happening.
  16. @Kewlin Alright, I did the math, and you're entirely correct. 23% damage reduction is very close to the actual comparable damage scale for 30% additional health. I was mainly calculating the amount of bullets, and didn't account for overdamage. That's why discussion is good since it can bring new perspectives or potential issues. I've now updated my suggestion with this in mind, and I think it makes it a bit more balanced but still scale good: K1: 15% > 11% K2: 25% > 22% K3: 35% > 33%

Comparing Patriot Vegas to Dolton Fresno, you can deduce that 50 Max Health of the vehicle is 0.5 m / s, with the help of this information I was able to adjust the special modifications accordingly so that by accident they were not too OP. In my opinion, car racing should be added to APB as a small escape from shooting and increasing diversity. Car racing: 1. A new contact should be added, the rewards of which will apply to the twentieth century, because there are people who like this age like me and APB could provide this and with whom we will earn XP for participation in races.   18. Little annoying things everyone knows, that should be fixed or added. 1. Indestructible lamp posts 2. Not being able to see name tags through [big destructible] gates. 3. Hijacking AI vehicles will leave the AI drivers just standing in the middle of the road until they disappear. 4. You can not walk through AI pedestrians. 5. If an AI vehicle is hit and moves out of its driving path, it will just stop forever rather than correct its position and continue. 6. Sometimes when you run next to another player or AI, your movements will no longer be smooth and you start to kind off "lag" when you run. 7. At some doors there is a small gap where you can throw grenades through, or even shoot through. 8. Rocket launchers will sometimes fire the rockets in the wrong direction. 9. Sometimes when rockets hits the enemy directly on the body, they will take less damage. 9. Driving over a placed shield will sometimes make the car go flying (even though it could be fun at times :) ). 11. AI vehicles can sometimes kill you if they hit you (cause of death: Suicide). Or you can turn it around and say that AI vehicles can not kill you at all even if they run you over at full speed. 12. AI vehicles will sometimes not stop when you shoot at them. 13. Sometimes you are not being able to enter a mailbox, car spawn, ammunition supply, ammunition stations or similar even if you are standing right next to it. 14. You can not delete all mails at once. If you want to delete everything in your mail box you have to click on each individual one. 15. Sometimes you are not able to see the time remaining on your arrest (criminals). 16. Sometimes when you run with e.g EOL, Oscar, Volcano and more, at the same time you're firing, the action gets canceled and the weapon will stop shooting. 17. "Out of bounds" at places which you can get to easily and should really not be out of bounds. 18. If AI pedestrians are scared, they will sometimes walk straight through a wall or a door and magically disappear. 19. Sometimes when you are driving up against a wall, your vehicle will crash or explode like it hit something invincible. Same with the train carts in Baylan fight club. 20. At certain places you can see name tags through walls. 21. When districts are full, you have to spam to get in. There is no queue system. 22. You can e.g use the mouse wheel to shoot "faster". Aka macro players. 23. Destroyed items and dead AI pedestrians aren't synchronized between players and will therefore be at different places etc. 24. You can not take damage by fire. 25. Windows on vehicles and in general can not be cracked or destroyed by impacts or gunshots. 26. Headlights on vehicles does not work. * 27. Bad day/night cycle. The night is not that dark. * 28. No dynamic weather cycle. (I want snow on Christmas please) * 29. Doors on cars can not stay open. * Probably has to do with the engine.

  20. lately there has been a noticeable larger amount of TRUE golds in bronze. A lot of people are being chased off of APB from not being able to play from it. I personally don't like segregation but a true gold in bronze should not be there chasing bronzes off. 22 kills and 0 deaths is a bit much to go through for a bronze to face that type of opponent. I was called at the end and couldn't get across town to help in what time was left.
  21. Also forgot to bring this up... Doubling of Dome tokens which is already modified by subscription level, while the same is true with DT... we're going to do a breakdown. Each tier's completion reward 1-3 : (50/100/150) 300 possible reward and 40% modifier via Commy Sub bringing the total to 70/140/210 420 Round 10 completion : 100 (140 with commy) If you can complete every round you will have 420/420/420/140 (1-4) which doesn't sound like a lot... and hell most can't even do round 10. One might even argue if it's worth it due to the time to do so. Tier 4 can translate to at least 600 tier 3 seconds if you can complete it even with commander Tier 3 for 50 points converts to 200 tier 2. (1200 to 1600 depending on sub level) Tier 2 for 50 points converts to 150 tier 1. (900 to 1200 depending on sub level) Just for the sake of argument we will simply give the example of 1-9. The most expensive farm is tier 3 at 39k Dome Tokens, before counting round 10 this requires a total of 130 to 93 runs. These runs should last maybe a total of 18-22 minutes regardless of weapon type unless they refuse to use Assault Rifles as Rifle builds. This means the average timeframe to make a Dome weapon under these conditions is 34.1 hours to 47.66 hours of play. Once Tier 4 is considered, you can look at it as 6300 every 5 rounds for tier 3. So we need 32 runs to finish the tier 3 reward. But if you wish to do the math, you'll find you need 40 runs to get the book AND weapon completed on a new character. So we will use that as an example. This means less than 15 hours of play. Will edit this later to add the run-down of DT, but to make it simple the fastest method is CTF with wins giving 3600 per win, 1200 for a loss, and 1600 for a tie. Since this also requires me to speak of subscription level as well as buffs, this is more of an annoying breakdown... but I'll do this later.

  25. As title says, i should have in theory 60/70 fps with my requirements (much more than recommended on STEAM page) but actual i have a poor 21/22 fps with sudden crash in random event. With an improved PC i recognize a worst performance than 2012. The server looks like the weak chain of the computation (latency at 33ms now but i never went over 12). Which are the minimal requirements now?
