Why Matt Scott support cheaters?
DedGaem replied to PonuryZniwiarz's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I said DISTINCTLY we need a solid anticheat. But we need it to WORK,,, IMMEDIATELY, during the mission to DISCOURAGE detectable cheating. Only thing I said was... temp bans rather than perma bans.. and this due to the woefully tiny playerbase. I don't believe the game can survive the kind of thorough purge perma bans would give it. G1 BANNED THOUSANDS... and it solved nothing. When LO bought the game, they did mass UNBANNING, which, at the time was largely viewed favorably... not only because of false bans... but because it welcomed back a LOT of players the game NEEDED to survive. We just didn't need them back CHEATING... but 2nd and 3rd chances are HEALTHY for a small game. THUS, the issue isn't about solving the FTP bane of rerolling cheat accounts at all. PLUS, if TEMP KICKS only lasted, say 15min, 30 min, an hour... it undercuts the effort to continuously make new accounts and rage cheat on them in revenge.. never said people WON'T reroll. The whole POINT of TEMP bans is to get the anticheat to AGGRESSIVELY KICK on detection... and not require the lengthy staff intensive process of REVIEWING BANS FOR FAIRNESS which provides an unacceptable DELAY often, in past of MONTHS... before deleting someone's account. In this process... detection doesn't have to be as stringent, because the penalty isn't... People with false detections can petition support. At that point of escalating a support ticket... the LO staff can review if the detections are valid or not and help legit but pro players NOT trigger kicks. The whole point is to get cheaters BOOTED out of missions they are abusing as soon as they're detected as a DISCOURAGEMENT TO CHEATERS AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE LONGSUFFERING PLAYERBASE.. like a SPEED BUMP. We KNOW perma bans don't work... it just erodes the playerbase. Under YOUR scenario... a reroll account will STILL get detection and KICK... the ONLY thing he would bypass is an escalating time limit...but he would STILL be kicked for 15 min... as a cooling off period. Suppose he makes a new account.. suppose he makes 15 new accounts... or already has them... WHAT THEN? Log in-cheat-detetc... KICK..... Log in-cheat-detect... KICK... Log in-cheat-detect... KICK. THAT'S the incentive NOT to cheat. He can play on 1,000 accounts and be insta kicked ALL DAY, on detection. He can't AVOID being kicked on detection. He just loses the motivation to rage at the company for a permanent ban... and abuse the playerbase in his anger over a permanent lost account. We've ALWAYS had closet cheaters in this game... and always will. The difference is, we USED to have closet cheaters... and now, without an anticheat we have full on cheaters and raging cheaters. THIS makes the game unplayable for non-cheaters... who at least with some skill and a good team could DEFEAT closet cheaters because they cheated, but in moderation. With immediate TEMP KICK on detection... it would provide an INCENTIVE to cheaters (who we KNOW will NOT stop cheating) to at least TONE DOWN THEIR LEVEL OF CHEAT and the resultant overly aggressive playstyle (because they have no fear as their bot kills faster than humanly aiming) which, in my view, would provide a MORE FAIR GAME especially to newer, casual players. I'm not proposing anything RADICAL... in fact it's moderate in the extreme.. just a temporary discipline to promote fairness and discourage the kind of extreme cheating that cause players to stop playing. Right NOW what we have without any anticheat is FC level tryharding aggressiveness that is a playstyle which literally is overkill and exterminates the less effective (read: LEGIT) playerbase... and that is on ordinary missions... and the frequency is alarming due to Cheater Clans created in absence of ANY disciplinary policing mechanism at all. -
| Quick Links THE PORT AUTHORITY CLAN SUMMIT Welcome to the page of the PACS event, hosted by the San Paro Port Authority PACS is an event returning every week on Saturday, with the goal of the event to create a non-serious, positive atmosphere with the main focus on bringing the APB players together. With APB having the target on the creative aspect of things, so does PACS. Player created assets are central, and are able to be shown to other players in the event, in a meet-up that can span from 10 participants up to 30 participants. Because it is always unsure who will show up, and how many will show up, the excitement factor remains that you might meet someone completely new each week. And that is the goal of the Port Authority Clan Summit, to bring the APB community just that little bit closer. HOSTED ON Every Saturday - 8PM CET/GMT+1 Phase 1 of PACS - The Meet The PACS event starts with a general meet-up which may last for around 30 minutes or longer, depending on the amount of participants and the activities that happen while in the meet-up. The meet gives the perfect opportunity to meet everyone else who has shown up while in a relaxing atmosphere, being able to inspect what the other participants brought with them in terms of vehicles, outfits or other creative assets. The meet will always happen in the parking garage of the San Paro Port Authority HQ, located in Waterfront. This is where enforcer contact Eva Orlandez is camping out. Due to the dynamic change of open districts, the actual district where the meet will happen, is announced in the SPPA Discord server right before the event starts. IMPRESSIONS Phase 2 of PACS - The Demolition Derby After the meet-up, it is time to pack the bags and transfer to the Financial district, which just like the Waterfront district, gets announced in the SPPA Discord server. On Financial district, on the broken Highway part which has gaps on both sides, the Demolition Derby will take place. It may sound complicated, but the concept is quite simpel - Grab a vehicle, line up against the other participants, and start ramming. Probably one of the few moments where you can ram-streak multiple players at once without getting warned for griefing! The Demolition Derby consists of multiple rounds, with each round having 1 winner. The winner is simply the participant that survived the longest. To keep it exciting, big rewards may or may not be given out to the winners of the Derby rounds. Rewards can range from in-game cash to Legendary weapons, or other in-game assets. Usually, there is always something to win! IMPRESSIONS PORT AUTHORITY CLAN SUMMIT Enjoy the fun side of APB

To add on to what you said, I’m a 2010 veteran of APB, I still have the disc somewhere and I miss every single bit of this game. Back then, it was something special. The community was vast, diverse, and full of potential with a fun and active community. It felt alive, and the connections I made with people during that time? I’ll never forget them. I miss those days, plain and simple. Honestly, it’s heartbreaking to see how things have gone over the years, but even after more than a decade and a half, there are still a handful of amazing players out there. I won’t throw names around because there are far too many to list, but there are still passionate folks holding the torch. Despite the game’s fall from grace... so to speak, I can’t help but appreciate that dedication. Now, with the recent delays in APB Reloaded, I feel like it’s probably a good thing. It’s a much-needed break for everyone — maybe even an opportunity to “touch grass” and reconnect with life outside the blaring screen. But there’s something else to it too. it’s a testament to how much some players still care. It’s easy to forget how invested people are in the game’s survival, even in its current state. It speaks volumes about the community for those who play the game, both the good and the bad players like hackers or trolls. It’s not perfect, far from it, but APB was something different, and those who remember that still hold on tight. And for that, I’ll always be grateful as I play it for what it is, eventually the game will grow out to be more than what it already is.

If we take a quick look at the last 6+ months, Aug 2024 when New Horizon was announced. I thought this was a great update by Little Orbit, new contacts and what not. Everyone saw the population increase. YEAH !!!! My thoughts are that if they had implemented SARD months prior to the New Horizon release, it might have retained that population boost. c’est la vie It is what it is And then the SARD anti-cheat forthcoming, with the announcement that "Noone" will be banned, instead Cheat Points will be assigned and subsequent high profile cheaters will be segregated. Ooof A "gut punch" to the legitimate players wanting fair competitive gameplay, and much "rejoicing" amongst those player who might rely on 3rd party tools. The message was clear... No Cheater will be banned. And the Cheater population blossomed. I imagine there were Legit players that just "threw in the towel" and started to use 3rd party tools, cause.... They want to play on a level playing field. "When in Rome" I thought I saw a forum post here, where Matt Scott had posted on Discord, that after reviewing the SARD analytics, he was shocked, or maybe even horrified at the number of cheaters actually present on either Server. Ok, so I had to rummage through my closet to find my Tin Foil Hat before posting my thoughts. What if.... The number of cheaters is so bad, that by banning them out right would significantly lower the population to a dismal amount ? EU might survive much more so than NA. I would hate to think that this is the dilemma that Little Orbit faces. I mean, you have to remove the bad actors that compromise fair gamplay, but at what cost ? 25%+ or more of the population ? If this is the challenge that they are facing, I do not envy them. They definitely got themselves stuck between the proverbial "rock and a hard place" Anyways, I hope they figure this stuff out, and it would be nice to see some monthly SARD stats by Server/Faction/Rank Thanks

The anti cheat problem has been an issue since day 1 for Little Orbit and since GamersFirst were in charge of it, not that I don't accept the fact that they're trying their best to fix things, but it can't really come as a breaking news that this game have had and stillI have so much trouble with moving forward and even further before the anti cheat works properly. To gain a bigger interest and playerbase in general for new players, which I assume is the priority for this game to survive, and not the little hardcore fans-scale who'll be here no matter what (almost..) at least the fairness and feeling of a anti cheat which really works. We got some new content with new contacts etc. in this game which we didn't thought years ago, thats good. But the anti cheat is still such a big issue that people leave again. Such blatant cheaters are still running around at the exact same character for so long, that you can't blame people for start believing that the anti cheat system doesn't work. It's not that the game developers should sit 24/7 and read /reports but even that is hard to believe works as well. A speedhacker, aimbotter and wallhacker (full blatant cheater) can be around for so long that people start believe that it isn't fair, the system doesn't work and/or not capable to fix such a fundamental problem to have a anti cheat system who ban cheaters who is ruining the fun for the players who supports it, plays it as the game is meant to be played, without giving people a second chance, which we saw a while ago. Sure, some need to keep the hamster wheel spinning...

stop this cross servers mathmacking please
Talla replied to Uhtdred's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I am near the eastern canada shore. I get 90-100 ms here to US-West. Playing above 70 ms is too high for a PvP game. To be fair, I'd rather stop playing instead of having a laggy experience. Ever since the US-East instances are back, the Jericho population went back up. Cancelling US-East would be detrimental to the game's survival. I think the way foward is to just unbound characters from server locations. All characters should be global, and we should be able to join all worlwide instances from 1 server. -
Being rickrolled, repeatedly, outplayed, tk'd, shot at by own team, trashed talked by own team for NOT being a tryhard gold or cheater... and farmed by literal cheaters, macroers, exploiters, and toxic tryharders... who want nothing more than 25-30 kills per match... is how we lost THOUSANDS of players. If people CAN'T compete... they go away. For the game to THRIVE and SURVIVE... there has to be some grace extended to the newer/weaker playerbase... and I don't mean reroll cheats. No one is taking them under wing or teaching them... the game is so hardcore toxic... they literally tell you to go away, to uninstall... to fuck off. They only want their core 200 gold players... and this is all that's left of the game. Merged. Agree. Segregation was, way back in the day.. the beginning of a host of problems. The escalation is actually a shining improvement... but the weighting of the matches needs work. Back in the day... your threat wasn't as easily lost, which removed some of the tryhardism.. and when very low players met with a rank 10 gold... they would get like 4 guys to help versus the rank 10 gold. Alas, matchmaking is now unrecognizable since it's original system, which was actually great. In any event, fight club for the longest was the domain of the hardcore cheaters/tryharders... and now.. all that's left of the districts is the same.. the slower paced.. play with lower/newer toons... letting them get objectives, giving them clothes/cars, inviting them to clans... is long gone. The game expresses just sheer HATRED of newer/lesser skilled players... literally exterminating them. And then there's absentee Mat Scott.. doing jack turd nothing... listening to the tryharders whisper in his ear... about how to make the game they way THEY want... and not the way it was when it attracted tens of thousands of REGULAR players.

The health interface is not informative
Noob_Guardian replied to Yapopal's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I'd hate a healthbar in APB. It was a bad change to APEX. All it did in APEX (thats excluding the initial and possible ongoing issue of it negating mirage's invisibility) was basically scream "APE THIS GUY HERE". If they didn't add it, people would still play aggressively but now it just feels worse when you missed a single bullet and he got away, or you know you really should charge because if you don't hes going to heal up from 2 bullets to down, at least before you could estimate via damage numbers and make a decision, but now it's laid out in a way encourages you to push and finish enemies quickly where before you may have been more passive about it. The game is about survival, but they once again made it about getting more kills instead after they upped red zone damage so people -won't- run straight into red zone for kills. In APB I can see it being a negative change, especially if you sniped someone, and your teamates spamming chat HIT HIM ALMOST DEAD SHOOT HIM NOW DAN!@#!@#!%$ like ugh. -
I think @VanilleKeks has a point, concerning NO real ramifications for using 3rd part tools. On one point, the solution would be to ban the offender to insure fair game play. APB has followed this Mantra for a some time.. Just like any other gaming company. The other argument is to segregate the offenders to match up with other offenders, assuming that all have reached the “Cheat Point” threshold. Citadel, may very well survive this approach, as their population’s high point, on any given day is around 350 players. Probably less time to wait for a “K” up mission to start. Jericho will have a problem, as their population on a good day is around 120. I hope Jericho's population decline is not because of players using 3rd party tools...... Smaller pool of players to create segregation pools based on “Cheat Points” A legit player, or even a segregated player will probably have to wait longer for a district match up in Jericho. Penalties: Penalties for using 3rd party tools to gain an advantage. A) Perma ban.. Lose character and Inventory. with a possible unban 2 or 3 years later. (the unban is not a guarantee) (Goal of the cheater is to test the efficacy of 3rd party tools, and to forward all ill-gotten gains to the primary account - Non-cheating account) (alt accounts are throw aways) Pros: Clean district for a very short window of time for competitive game play. (window of time has been around 3-10 days) Cons: Banned player starts new account with anon email of 20+ waiting to start up. (need to direct proceeds to Primary (non-cheating) account.) (money, weapons, etc) Report discrepancies to “Tool Maker” for updates. As Matt Scott has explained.. “Rinse & Repeat” B) Segregation: Players using 3rd party tools to gain advantage earn “Cheat Points” to create a segregation pool for match up. Might be effective depending on what server. Server with a larger player base might work. Question: If players using 3rd party tools to gain an advantage will only be segregated and not banned, or at the very least, lose some inventory, does that not “promote” the concept of…. “When in Rome”.. I mean, everyone could use 3rd party tools with no concerns of being banned. Would that not bring us back to competitive game play ? Albeit with the help of some 3rd party tools ? (this discussion should be interesting .. haha) C) Inventory Loss: Player achieves a certain threshold of “Cheat Points” Segregation and the following potential losses. Let’s use a Cheat Point score to 100. 1) 25-50 Segregation 2) 50-75 Segregation Loss of money & 2-3 inventory items (player receives email of Cheat Point notoriety) (they have 20+ email accounts, will they ever see the email ?) 3) 75-100 Segregation Loss of money & most of their inventory items Maintains a threshold of 75-100 for a period of time. Bank Wipe.. Also, let us keep track of who they are trading with. Co- Conspirators… or maybe the Primary account. Yeah, no punishment… I dunno, maybe we should all just jump in the pool.

10/09 PATCH ANNOUNCEMENT
MACKxBOLAN replied to MageLO's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
none of em can compete with ntec. They ruined the far long time back, they nerfed it adding bloom and less swing. Saying it was ruining cq or too op. The Far I'm talking about. Seems the nerfed the cobra about the same time. Of course it's bar chart stats are the same as as ntec but not so much in game. The Cobra was a favorite, supposedly having slightly more punch/damage with slightly less range. According to the bar chart. Misery was a good gun but its just too slow. Ah one day someone will buy the company that understands how guns work. What they do to the body when hit. The idea of being Fair, Gun fights aren't Fair, You want to win or survive and that means You want a bigger badder gun than the other guy. -
Ya, then they wonder why Mack calls conspiresy. Matt always shows up says some stuff, n disappears for months. You never see him in game. To witness what he has created. Too see the 'Scope' of the hacking and toxics. Since they took over, his demeanor and actions have consistently been favorable to hackers and toxics, and unfavorable to legit customers. I would venture to say that any revenue coming from said hackers and toxics, is Dirty money; as in money acquired thru dishonest means. There is a few that would have financial means and buy hax just to be able to Play and survive with the pool of hackers. That may in addition to the hax be able to afford armas items. The rest, the Career Hackers I don't see as honest working people. Since Matt desegregated the game has been ruined, and solely a hackers game. Every anti cheat has been determined as False Bans or Won't Work with engine. Contact was put in the Hacker Happy District where its all snipers. Anyone rolling up a new character already had too many levels and contacts in wf. And releasing thousands of hackers from the FF days based on false positive testing of the newest pos AC. So from my point of view, He let the hackers in to thwart progression of the few Legits. To make the grind longer. His story about the false positive test of eac and the claim that it false banned, is complete hog wash because the only people banned from NA were manual bans for behavior and 2 auto bans, one for a layering program in designer, and one legit for being legit and out of bounds. So All these vast boat loads of people come in I haven't seen since 2016 were not banned by EAC. So they let them in, when we already had loads of hax, and put in a contact to make people work thru hackers. Told us the GM's would be watching. They were around a couple hrs for two days. Then Mass Hackery and Chat Bashing goes on day in, day out. People troll flipping your car so ya can't play. Hard game to just walk away from but that's where I'm at.

Ive had quite afew times where my Jericho has tanked more then my Pioneer since the car rework. Nitro is timed and all cars have it (if equipped but 99.99% of us equip it by default) so thats negated, fast cars still get to destination first so the slower team is automatically at a disadvantage. You can equip steel plating and there you go you have more speed then a pio and the armor. There are plenty of cars out there that can seat 4 and have more speed then the pio. Car armor dont mean much nowadays since not as many ppl run as there used to be. Biggest reason for car armor is halloween and even then the faster cars do alot better at surviving cause they can run fast and menuver better. If car surfing was a thing during the event like back when the event was at its prime ok pio. But thats not the case anymore. As for cargo space you dont put all you eggs in one basket. The mission where you have to pick up 50 objects isnt that common so storage space isnt a top priority. And even so a cargo van or pickup yields some good cargo space and speed. Armor is on the lower side but if you can hightail it before the other team can get their cars youve gotten the obj done. Speed is the #1 thing in a car and after that you can pick and choose what you want more. With this new car being buffed it now rivals the 4x4 and can seat 4. The only thing faster is the non 4x4 vegas so the pio while once a top choice isnt so high on the order anymore.

Cross Faction Matchmaking
AgentWatson replied to RealSlimShady's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
Bronzes should be occluded on the radar that's not going to be a huge benefit but it'll give them slightly more survivability while keeping the game more interesting for silvers and golds. You could also reduce the negatives on character mods, like on Kevlar Implants reduce the downside for bronzes if their threat level goes up the stats return to normal. -
I did receive some lights a couple days ago, but the car isn't War worthy enough for WF. beings its a 'light weight'. The car is easy to flip or damage by troll. If you're gonna play apb you have to first survive the mission trolls just to get to the mission is a challenge. Without a reason to play missions, having and painting up the car is useless. they have zero player base outside of hackers to 'show the car off to' Not to mention the 100 dollar spawn fee. I been driving my old no slot pick up, cuz they wont make a real pick up a full sized truck. Only 5 levels left to fight hackers for. no reason or need for the car as I will quit as soon as that cop is maxed

LO, you're sitting on easy money here. There are a good few car kits that are faction exclusive; The Bishadier Kissaki, V20 Pursuit Special, Packer Vengador, Charge Raptor, Espacio Bighorn, and the Pioneer Waragi (enfo) LAV are all ENFO exclusive, so as a crim I can't get them. Likewise as a crim I can get the Bishadier Mako Racing, V20 Nightrider, Packer Toreador, Charge Cheetah, Espacio Mammoth, And Pioneer Waragi (crim), but enforcers can't get these. Likewise there are a few clothing packs that have been labelled as cross faction, but aren't really. The heavy duty pack share some items (Denim Jacket, Military Jumper, Reinforced Combats, Tactical Boots), the there are still faction exclusive items within each factions variant; Enfos get Hammerhead Helmet, Machinegunner Vest Config, Nanofiber Vest. Crims get Sabertooth Helmet, Machinegunner Chest Rig Config, and Ceramic Plated Vest. Another example is the Guerra Libero/Guerra Vigilum sets - they share some items (Cargo Capri Shorts, Cropped Hooded Jacket, Slim Padded Jacket), but other items aren't shared, named the Spray Cans Leg Configs and Grenades Chest Rig Config (both crim only), and the Utility Pouches and Grenades Vest Config (both enfo only). There are some other different items in this pack but they can be obtained from other cross faction packs (Tactical Urban Warfare and Paramilitary). As a quick aside, on the cross-faction page on Armas there are the two Wargear bonus packs - I don't know if this is intentional, the criminal bonus pack has the stuff you get from the criminal Guerra Libero pack - so to say they're cross faction isn't really true. Same for the enfo equivalent. I don't know about other players but I would quite happily spend my money on some of these packs/items that right now I can't get. Sorry if this has been raised before, but I want some of this gear. I've put 10 odd years into my crim and don't fancy making an enfo just to access these kits, and essentially have to start again. Some of the vehicle kits would look really good with some crim and some enfo parts together, like the Waragis, the Raptor and Cheetah kits, and the Mammoth and Bighorn kits. LO please consider just doing away with the cross faction exclusivity and open all items up to everybody. You'd be pleasing a lot of players who want this gear they can't get, and probably making some easy money. Taint

Introduction: APB: Reloaded, an intricately designed massively multiplayer online third-person shooter, stands as a testament to the evolving paradigms within the realm of digital gaming. Meticulously crafted by Reloaded Productions, this opus has captivated the gaming community for its sui generis amalgamation of frenetic action, expansive open-world dynamics, and the dialectic tension between criminal proclivities and the mantle of law enforcement. In this expository essay, we embark on a comprehensive exploration of APB: Reloaded, unraveling the nuances embedded within its multifaceted gameplay mechanics, visually resplendent aesthetics, narrative profundity, and the synergistic interplay between denizens of its persistent online milieu. Gameplay Mechanics: At the epicenter of APB: Reloaded's allure is an amalgam of avant-garde gameplay mechanics. Unfolding within the sprawling urban panorama of San Paro, players find themselves ensconced in a veritable crucible, where criminal machinations vie for ascendancy against the backdrop of law enforcement imperatives. The expansive open-world design, an apotheosis of player agency, foments a sense of autonomy seldom witnessed in the annals of online multiplayer sagas, as participants embroil themselves in the throes of dynamic skirmishes across the urban sprawl. Distinguishing itself is an unparalleled customization system, affording players the latitude to meticulously curate every facet of their avatars, armaments, and vehicular appendages. This apotheosis of personalization not only engenders a heightened sense of ownership but also augments the game's intrinsic replayability. The strategic divergence between roles, be it the mantle of an enforcer or the machinations of a criminal mastermind, injects a stratified profundity, engendering an ever-shifting power dynamic within the game's richly layered fabric. Visual Aesthetics: Graphically, APB: Reloaded stands as an opulent tapestry of visual splendor. The metropolis of San Paro is rendered with an assiduous attention to detail, from the chiaroscuro of gritty back alleys to the vertiginous majesty of towering skyscrapers. Character models and weapon designs, meticulously crafted, attain a verisimilitude that augments the immersive facet of the gaming experience. The diurnal oscillation and dynamic meteorological tapestry further contribute to a panoply of visual diversity, ensconcing players within a living, breathing virtual cosmos that metamorphoses with their chosen roles. The artful interplay of lighting effects, particularly conspicuous, imbues the atmosphere with a palpable tension, underscoring the perpetual struggle between the criminal underbelly and the vigilant enforcers. Narrative Profundity: Whilst APB: Reloaded is predominantly oriented toward gameplay, it does not eschew narrative depth entirely. The game introduces a semblance of diegetic narrative through dynamically curated missions and player-forged content. These missions, whether undertaken as a nefarious criminal mastermind or an arbiter of justice, coalesce into an overarching narrative tapestry that mirrors the ongoing socio-political struggle within the confines of San Paro. A cardinal feature is the player-driven narrative paradigm, wherein participants actively shape the evolving story through their actions and consequential decisions. This adaptive narrative architecture adds a stratum of unpredictability, fostering an innate sense of agency among players navigating the intricate tapestry of crime and justice. Symbiotic Player Interaction: APB: Reloaded's preeminence lies in its emphasis on symbiotic player interaction, catalyzed by the crucible of online multiplayer dynamics. The ethos of the game fosters a crucible wherein collaboration, competition, and emergent gameplay experiences burgeon. High-stakes shootouts, adrenaline-fueled car chases, and meticulously orchestrated heists demand a sophisticated interplay of strategic acumen and adaptability as players traverse the dynamic landscape crafted by their virtual counterparts. The symbiosis between adversarial forces—criminals and enforcers—necessitates sagacious thinking and a proclivity for adaptability, contributing to an ever-evolving ecosystem where player skill and cooperative synergy reign supreme. The game's matchmaking and social systems further elevate this communal facet, cultivating a community-driven experience that transcends the conventional confines of contemporary multiplayer opuses. Conclusion: APB: Reloaded ascends as an unequivocal magnum opus within the pantheon of online multiplayer gaming. Its avant-garde gameplay mechanics, visually opulent aesthetics, semblance of narrative profundity, and the symphony of symbiotic player interaction contribute to an immersive, multifaceted gaming experience that transcends the conventional boundaries of its genre. As a dynamic confluence of criminality and justice, APB: Reloaded stands as a paean to the evolving landscape of digital entertainment, proffering participants an immersive, ever-evolving crucible for their criminal machinations or valiant law enforcement endeavors.

We need a SOLO district right now!
MACKxBOLAN replied to Gateron's topic in Social District (General Discussion)
I'm sorry I don't mean to insult you, I don't know You. But how you are doing math or counting 300. The max is like 30, maybe 40 on the weekend nights when I no longer play that late. and of that 30 there are 2 bronze and bout 6 silvers, rest are golds with new names ya never seen before, talkin in chat like they god n been there for years n years, next day all the gold name will change but it be the same hoodlums just there to torture non hackers. So its not other players, its the same 30. Hackers are just women who haven't gotten the nursing license yet, they legally can't work in a hospital and annoy and stab defenseless people, so they buy hax and torment the patients while they're at home. So they can't have any fun in life while they aren't at a hospital to stab n take coffee from n then fire off 2-300 questions at the patient that the nurse and fake half doctors should already know. I got news for ya, The Devil isn't a Man, its a Woman, a Nurse. I want this woman arrested for 415-I Thats disturbing the peace /Inciting a Riot or violent reaction in a person or group of persons via verbal insult or signs. This is a californa state law, n I want that witch to do Time. I aint mad at the trainie with the 10 inch long 5 mm needle that needed a sound scope to find veins. in n out with this long ice pick whilst the devil nurse asks stupid questions to someone she knows has adhd, and was robbed of his coffee, water any liquid to wet and use your voice box. so she knew every answer hurt my throat. The only reason I'm not suing that dungeon hospital is I won't live long enough to see justice on that nurse. But the one with the dagger needle in n out starts it at the wrist goes all the way to the elbow just under the skin. n just for a blood sample and maybe an iv if i need one, cuz they used gas to put me down. I aint that mad at her, she was kind and ya know some people make mistakes, it was her first time using this scope with a needle, she was nervous and by her cloths i could tell she was a trainie not a full nurse, n then they decide to abort the big needle, n they pull it out, and a dude nurse came, used a regular sized needle n poked it right in. So the pain of that needle was just physical, not mental. That witch with the questions was mentally tormenting me specifically to get me give up n leave the hospital so they could keep the insurance money but not do anything. So a Thief and a attempt to fraud me and she was kin to the Devil. Now I got the hershey squirts n peanuts n I know they put them in me cuz i aint ate nothing. So they tried to kill me, they put tylonol pills in my stomach, knowing it would race my heart out, they tried to kill me. HOw ya gonna explain these tylonol peanuts when i aint ate nothing. So the Devil lost this round, I survived their attempt to kill me, but only cuz god saved me only to keep alive longer so they could all watch me get tortured by another nurse later on. Sociopathic Demons and their gold daughter spawn. Imma come in there n run u fake doctor womans over (in-game) Thats right, thats how its twisted now. Hackers are actually female demons, n one with dark hair and a pony tail an No hair net, with her pointy nose. Ya know it was an operating room, where th fk is your hair net. -

VIP missions are a great concept, but only work for certain mission sizes and balanced teams. Those are rarely met. 2v2 VIPs suck, even if the players are evenly matched, because half of the VIP team is marked, and they can only die 7(?) times. And getting 23 kills on the non-VIP team is absurd in that time, so the best chance is to hole up in some camp spot and wait out the long mission timer, and the camp spot only lasts until the grenade/rocket spam starts. It's honestly in the best interest of the attacking team to just throw themselves at the VIP with little care of survival, because they'd be hard pressed to run out of lives before the mission ends. Go the opposite direction to massive 4+v4+ VIP missions, and now the VIP defenders can just go crazy, their deaths won't hurt the mission, and they just need to run up the kill count. I feel the best solution that isn't just disabling VIP missions is to even the playing field and give both sides VIPs and death limits for the non-VIPs. -
For APB to survive, LO needs to wage an all out war againts cheaters. If they don't, the game will fall. Good matchmaking does not mean much when you get repeatedly curbstomped into quitting. I do hope that the new matchmaking takes into account stuff like accuracy, precision and other factors. So if a player is deemed "too good" he will be matched againts others who are "too good" These players who are god tier will be closed off into their own little matchmaking pool, away from the majority playerbase. I don't see any other way.

12/20 HOLIDAY ANNOUNCEMENT

So basically not a single new thing? No unique backpack, no unique clothes, not a single new item. Just refurbish of all old stuff. Such buffed cisco is still gonna be crap compared to vegas 4x4 which can ram it into building and blow it up, while driver of vegas survives the impact. That one year we got unique clothing fishnets for xmas...the good years when it was actually worth it to enter apb. Instead of buffing weapons which are useless and always were useless and will be useless now after this buff, you should nerf .45 pistol which is destroying your game in front of your very eyes. Put at least 1 more bullet to kill or change ttk. -
Short anser: Yeah DO IT ... but I bet it will change NothinG, despite agree the game and a lot of weapons are bad balanced. the game is around CA3 but at least for this Christmas you'll be happy with this present... Longer one: joke aside, Just give up with KV3 and I bet just buffing also until %HP will be useless and I double bet no devs will smash their heads on how balancing it, being just little tanky and a lot of more slow with the same firepower/TTk and bloom/ precision of everybody doesnt worth the candle, being fast has always been solid because you've the best potential survival skill of any game: Choosing your fights and the option of retreat for then give your peace ... on your bitter ones.

Ditto here. I fear the server hamster didn't survive last nights maintenance - may his furry soul rest in peace.

There are already good questions on the comments before than me, so I want to suggest something else. Could there be a map where players are not against each other or a new mod where both enforcers and crims fight together maybe. Something PvE but also rewardful. Could be a mod that everyone is trying to survive, there can be many other scenarios. I have been playing fight clubs only and I would love to play such map/mod Just for having fun. It's like playing aram and fun mode games instead of rankeds in League of Legends for example.
