If they had A. been able to verify that it would be account bound from the start and B. rotated the times throughout the event, then I'm sure it would have been relatively fair (as far as time goes) for everyone. 6-9PM could have been alright within the continent the server's on, but that still fucks people over who live in, say, Australia. I believe 6-9PM is 10AM-1PM in Western Aus and 1-4PM in Eastern Aus. Given that a lot of Australians play on Jericho, I can't exactly say that's acceptable.

  4. actually seems like orbit made an oopsie at some point, as these packs clearly used to be account bound i thought we were supposed to be shifting armas to entirely account bound, not the other way around?
  5. Hello, I just seen a Fallen Angel pack in Armas. I think to buy it, but it seems this is only character bound. And I have a question: will (or can) you add a account bound version to Armas? Its very expensive to buy it separatelly to every character.
  6. You realize those players also have pretty much every weapon permanent account bound? You need to decide what you're trying to get to. What is your point? All you bring to the table is true but it doesn't change the impact of your suggested money sink in a good way. It just punishes the casual/new players that aren't filthy rich.
  7. i have to agree it's not the drop i thought, but that's not such an issue if you consider that, maybe you'd need to buy 1 gun every few months, over 8 years i have quite a few, but the overall costs are insignificant if you really think about it, i assume many people DONT buy that amount of guns, so money i spend on guns helps support those who dont spend on guns (see where this is going?) if the price was cheaper maybe more people would spend money on guns... the real issue i have with it is (as pointed out by others) there seems to be a quite inconsistent pricing structure... 3 open slot weapons, should be the highest price point, special mods + open slots should also be apart of this (integrated Silencer for example) Presets should be the next drop. secondaries i would personally put below mains, but i can see them being a similar price. i can see re-models being more expensive than the in game equivalents, but versions of the same re-model, i dont see why they would be more or less expensive than each other. Ntec is a good example. N-Tec - 2999 CR5 - 3199 VAS - 3199 That works, 3 Open Slots and they are re-modelled versions of the same weapon (i personally would love to see reskins as options for a base weapons, because here you need to buy 3 ntecs at full price + 400 g1c JUST for the reskins if you wanted all options) CR-5 PR1 - 2999, 30 day 359 CR-5 PR2 - 2999, 30 day 429 These two presets have the account value being the same, but the 30 day different, they are also objectively worse than the N-Tec Dvah yet just as expensive account bound weapons, true you dont have to buy the mods, but they are relatively cheap on the market and you can get them in game, seems like a daft purchase. VAS R-2 'Crown' - 2999 2 Open Slots and an Integrated Silencer, this price (relative to the other prices) is acceptable since the integrated mod can only be bought with this weapon (but thus is subject for P2W hate) ... if the mod was available in game it would fall into the same issue as the PR1 and PR2 which are over priced for the restriction they enforce. i'm leaving scoped Ntecs out of this because they are fundamentally different and need sorting out separately now compare this to the SR315 and the STAC ... SR315 - 2799 STAC Scope - 2799 STAC Tactical - 2999 why is the tactical MORE expensive! another example are the CR762 re-models CR762 - 2999 Hoplite - 2999 Broadside - 2999 Spartan - 2799 Hoplite,Broadside and Spartan are re-models of the CR762! both with 3 open slots, why is the spartan cheaper?! i'm not saying you've done a bad job, the store looks better and the drop in prices are welcome, just i think you need to do another pass at them and try to normalise the prices.
  8. Not that i want to be that guy but, 30+ euros for an account bound gun is still quite a lot especially for the state the game is in. Tbh you should just remove the entire 3days, 30days and char bound releases and stick it all on account bound reducing the price on it aswell. To say like 10 to 15 euros. One thing that stopped me from spending is the rediculous pricing on everything. Yeah, the reskin is cool and all but i can still get the same ish gun ingame. Props on the new site tho. Looks slick.

  10. As much as I hate to say it I was actually pleasantly suprised by the gamemode. It's far from perfect but despite all of the issues, I have still enjoyed playing it. 1. Fixing the spawns Sometimes you die next to your teammates, but then spawn on the other side of the district in the gas without enough hazmat suits to make it out alive. This is really frustrating and is probably why so many people dislike the gamemode. 2. Fixing the crashes/disconnects My friends and I have noticed that the game sometimes crashes or disconnects randomly upon entering a RIOT district. 3. Adding more rewards This would really give an incentive for people to play the gamemode. It feels like reaching lvl 5 just to get 1 weapon skin is way too much. Would be nice if you guys could add more rewards to the contact (at least 1 per level). I know this is just a beta test but still. 4. Make some of the roofs inaccessible The City Hall and the Church are two spots that seem to be incredibly overpowered. There is only 1 way up and it's incredibly easy to defend. Since there aren't any grenades in the gamemode (for good reason) it's really hard to take over those two spots. My solution would just to make them inaccessible. 5. Make the rewards account bound I'm not sure if this would even be possible but it would be nice to have the progress towards the contact be account bound. Some of us are sitting on multiple characters and would like to have the items available on all of them. 6. Hazmat suit cooldown I feel like having a 1min cooldown on the hazmat suit is a bit too much. IMO you should remove the cooldown (or reduce it to like 15s), but limit the amount of hazmat suits you can have to 2 (also reduce the spawn rate). This would reward the player for being smart with the usage of their hazmat suits. Side note: Please make it so that you aren't forced to use your hazmat suit instantly upon spawning in the gas. Just give the player 1 hazmat suit to use whenever they would like. מזל טוב

  12. As is, there is a limit to the number of JT you can earn per week, per character. If you make JT account bound, you are only limited in the number of JT you can farm per week by the total number of characters on your account. It's bad for the players because the game cannot survive without players making ARMAS purchases. Not to say JT shouldn't be easier to farm. Just that a balance must be struck.
  13. Hi everyone, During this week's upcoming maintenance, we will be migrating all of the Nekrova characters to Citadel due to the shrinking population on the Nekrova world. Effective, Wednesday, March 6th, Nekrova players will need to log into Citadel for their merged characters. Unfortunately Innova gave out or steeply discounted many items before they shutdown, and we have no records of purchases with Innova. With that in mind we cannot migrate any existing inventory as those items don't match what are on Citadel. We cannot migrate any symbols, and we cannot migrate over APB$ or Joker Tickets. For the accounts coming over here is the plan: - All premium time will be unaffected and remain the same - Characters will be created from scratch using the same customizations as existing Nekrova characters - Character names will come across except where there is a conflict - Character progression will be copied across - Progression items will be awarded to the characters - Permanent account-bound Nekrova ARMAS purchases will be restored - Permanent character-bound Nekrova ARMAS purchases will be restored (if character still exists) - Any temporary weapons on the characters within the last 30 days will be restored - Joker Mystery Box purchases will be re-delivered as unopened JMBs To the players on Nekrova, I know that many players will lose items in this shift. We looked for ways to try and migrate more, but the results always created problems on Citadel. We hope this will at least give you an opportunity to pick up progression and play on more populated servers. EDIT: This has been postponed while we do more research to see if we can address some of the player complaints on our original plan. Thanks, Matt
  14. I'm still waiting for them to add the various Halloween weapon skins to ARMAS for account-bound purchase, or bring back the achievements that unlock them on newer characters (both veterans on their alts, and new players in general).
  15. Just buy char bound and if you feel that you need that weapon for new character, spend extra 400-500 g1c to make it account bound.
  16. The USD to G1C ratio change is AWESOME! My main concern remains however. Some items would still end up costing a bunch of dollars, especially when you factor in the account bound price hike
  17. I beleive it was due to the large number of gifting chargebacks and the resulting costs in both time and money needed to sort them out. That plus getting a second gun for dirt cheap. Gifting a friend the character bound then "upgrading" to the account bound for a small fee was a big problem I imagine.

  19. Most folks on here have not worked in game dev, I have and I can tell you exactly what doomed APB and it has very little to do with the engine update. The real reason APB was doomed was because the core foundation of the game was never built properly. The only thing Realtime Worlds got right was the customization editor, an arcade gameplay loop, and a fun game world to run around in. But Realtime worlds failed to plan for the FUTURE of the game. They didn't anticipate what would happen if players who could navigate the maps with their eyes closed would be put in the same pool as new players. They used custom hacks and code to make their game work in THAT version of Unreal Engine, never dreaming it would have to be changed. They never had a plan on how to sustain the longevity of the game. The engine update is not intended to enhance the graphics. The engine update is being pushed because APB has become impossible to update and upgrade with its current code and engine limitations. Newer PC's still can't run APB well because of the shoddy code that was built into the game into the first place. An update to a new engine would allow LO to bring better performance to consoles and have a stronger foundation with which to build their game. But as everyone has noticed for the past 10 years, APB was a cluster f--- to begin with. LO signed up to maintain an upgrade a lemon. They bought a car with no brakes, a failing transmission, and glued on shoddy repairs that would never pass inspection. What LO is doing is the equivalent of restoring an old car but it turns out engine code is more complicated than a real engine. Even after LO completes this upgrade, I doubt they can truly salvage APB. The only way to put players on an even playing ground is to add new maps and make some changes to the current layouts. Right now, not a single new player will stick with the game because the veterans will outmaneuver and outgun them at every turn. The new player population needs to be kept on its own server away from the veterans who have already played the sh** out of this game. APB is a very unique game and it definitely loads faster and performs better than GTA Online. But it simply doesn't have enough depth or variety to sustain the population. The account bound guns and cars without new maps is a joke. APB is essentially a mobile game in PC form. I hope the engine update is the upgrade LO needs to truly add some support to this game, but I fear it's going to be too little too late.
  20. I consider this topic as a quick reminder for LO, as they removed joker boxes, the only way to get it, and didn't bother to include 4-slot Fresno anywhere. Account-bound car in Armas would be a good solution. Add joker ticket alternative to it and this game will be a bit better.
  21. How about to make the roles progression account bounded? Pledge every char on account for chrome skin... pain.

I know I'm being completely antedoctal - but sometimes I barely get to spend an hour or two in most events, mixed with a good dose of bad skills, poor timezone, and latency issues, translates to only 1 character getting the goods and the rest getting nothing. If I wasn't so cheap I'd get those event items too as well as Account Bound items but yeah I have no idea what happened to them, they used to pop up every time I opened up the ARMAS store luring me to just pay a few hundred more to get Account versions of all my Character bound crap, but now those offers have disappeared, or at least haven't been to aggressive in their advertisement, maybe they're still around, but so is my cheapness, so lose-lose for knifu's alts.

The pants are from this clothing pack on Armas (cash shop): (Street RX Outfit) https://www.gamersfirst.com/marketplace/ingame/product_details.php?storetype=g1c&gameID=20&productId=3161 Currently costs 381 G1C as everyone has Premium active for free right now and Premium gives you a 20% discount on all Armas items. The lowest amount of G1C you can purchase is 500G1C for $6.00 so you'll have some leftovers too. This pack is character permanent and will not be available on any other characters you have or create in the future as it is character bound and not account bound. You could always repurchase again on other characters of course. Alternatively, you could wait for the weekly single-item sales that cycle every week on Armas where most items from all clothing packs get debundled and sold separately for prices as low as 49G1C a piece or sometimes 99G1C. These items are also character bound.
  25. Since there is a 1% chance for each 500 Jokertickets to get a legendary, is it worth buying Jokertickets instead of a gun I'd like to have from armas? And has anybody here even received a legendary from buying Jokertickets? I am thinking about getting the Obeya Hoplite which would be 10k Jokertickets = 2000G1C, with a 4% chance for a legendary, but buying it with 35% from armas would only be like 1300G1C and also account bound.
