  1. Few years ago I got Kissaki kit for one of my accounts in this case my enforcer character, as a reward (don't remember what was the occasion) but didn't activated it because I realized really quick that enforcers still don't have a Bishada as a unlockable car. So I asked back then G1 what is the deal with that and as in most cases back then I didn't got any answer or the answer was completely irrelevant or simply link to the armas shop which also is useless pretty much because this variation wasn't available in armas and far as I checked it still isn't. This is coming from the darkest age of APB where support pretty much didn't exist. So this is sitting on my account for years and now dug it out again and I wonder if I can do something with it or kiss it goodbye. Same question applies for other cars that are restricted and many people got these random kits but not sure about the cars. Some got the cars with it some didn't and if a enfo can't get a bishada or a crim cant get a V20 then what is the point getting the kits for the opposing faction. It would be great if we get a car that we can modify and then sell it or gift it. If it's locked character bound then in this case this is completely useless and I wish we got something else instead as rewards. Also was thinking for example if it's account bound then I can make a crim and maybe use this kissaki kit there anyways? So people what is your experience with this, did anyone remembers this, got one of these and did you manage to get this working somehow or should I just forget it.
  2. Warning: This is what I got so don't take it all as canon since there were different packs-rewards, just sharing my experience. I got a account bound Mako-Kissaki kit bundle that included the 4 slot car on for both factions and got this for two accounts. But considering I didn't had a enforcer on neither of them I was limited to the Mako kit alone which worked for me since I could dupe it and sell my creations because I had a Bishada unlocked on those crim characters. One pack was limited for 3 months (this was a direct gameplay event randomly rewarded, no clue what event it was, it was long time ago circa 2015), the other one limited for 6 months (this was also a reward but opened through a Joker Box). So I used the 3M first then when that expired I activated the other one. On both accounts the 4 slot car expired alongside the kits. You couldn't use them, they remained in your inventory but were greyed out -blocked. Same example as when you try a car (or weapon) from Armas and it remains in your inventory after it expires but you cannot use it anymore. Luckily I kept the cars and now they are unlocked and available for use. Now I do believe this is something LO enabled upon someone's request because I am pretty sure those cars were unusable for years up until LO took over. And I am glad to have those cars again so thank you. The car cannot be sold but can be duplicated so you can make other personal versions of it and it costs 1,500 in-game $. The parts cannot be altered just the livery and color options. Provided a picture of it. And yes some information could be more clear, specific and refined in some cases but equally it can be just as easily ignored in a wall of text that the user might skip or miss out or even forget it and cannot be re-read because some information is only available once during the read. So it's a win-lose situation in both...and need to be addressed somehow to appeal more the user with notifications that can separate themselves and be more clear to read and see but not be over the top so the user ignores it. So in conclusion if you (OP) have the same package you probably got a car with it and can make at least your personal vehicles that you can keep and use later on even after the pack expires, and these cannot be sold or shared. So choose and create wisely.
  3. Armas needs a rework. And account-bounded clothing, which was "uploaded" way before LO. As I see, LO making every new item in Armas with options, account or character bound. So why not do the same trick with old content?
  4. Real gamers bought a character bound weapon and than bought the same weapon account bound before the option to upgrade to account bound was available.
  5. I grabbed the pack account bound. ...mostly for the animal suit
  6. At this point I would like to buy every gear pack if it was made account-bound. But seems like they can't rework old packs, and somehow they can make new packs acc-bound. Interesting...
  7. In my opinion: - Weapon roles should be less grindy, like 2x times less. - Also 16th role should be removed because it makes no sense. - In continuation, Chrome skin and slightly changed version of 3-slotted guns should be available after 15th role. - There is have to be kill count after reaching max rank. - 3rd level mods can be unlocked on 10th level, why not? - Every role should be account-bounded. Voila! Perfect game with less grind and reasonable rewards. At least account bounded roles will solve so many problems for veteran players and give no penalty for new players who just reached max rank and already get some kills and some roles gained. Also I have to say that game is not much p2w since half of Armas guns is complete shit. But 3-slotted version of normal ones give players slight advantage. However, EVERY gun must be useful on it's own niche WITHOUT mods, like Scout, N-TEC or JG. Just correct me if I'm not right. P.S: Heavy Barrel shouldn't have damage penalty at all. Buff it.
  8. Is the Emote VIP pack character bound or is it account bound?
  9. https://www.gamersfirst.com/marketplace/ingame/product_details.php?storetype=g1c&gameID=20&productId=6359 Bruh moment. Same old pack as the last year, sadly I have been bought two separated ones in 2019, one difference is the “Alignment titles” which I cannot get account-bound separately (fkn crying rn). The cringe is, I still have to grind pumpkins for skin and wings, on EACH of my characters, same as horseman games. Why don’t you guys put at least bit of effort into Armas? Imma throw you money for all Halloween 2019-2021 rewards, account bounded, just don’t make me grind again. Otherwise, I would grind and suffer just to show how wrong you are.
  10. Perfect example that each player has his own kinks. (I don't really grind JT's after I got crown on my main) Personally, I'm into Armas and all stuff in it, I adore account-bounded items and collect them, that's why I count Easter Classics Pack, recently included in Armas as a good move. LO have much chance to save this game, so why not support them just for that? If I was millionaire or so, I would sponsor it
  11. Hi All: Very happy the game is still being worked on. Personally, I don't have a problem with the characters being wiped, especially if that means the economy will be repaired. I only ask that we can keep our unique account-bound items. It would be nice to still have the items we paid real money for or earned in promotions or special events. Keeping our original characters would also be appreciated even if they are reset to level one and lose all gear except what I mentioned. I'd love to have familiar faces follow me from the old game to the reboot. May my Spiked Chopper and Classy Feathered Top Hat live again!
  12. Said it before, and I'll say it again. If they added DMR-AV PR3 which added 3-Point Sling 3 or Bandolier 3, I would purchase it account-bound immediately despite already having DMR-AV PR1.
  13. Is it? I can either pay once with my real money for a rental gun that has 3 open slots that will cost a ludicrous amount iirc. Or I give LO 30$ for an account bound permanent version of it. It's definitely not a clear answer. Like sure you can get that gun in game for free. But until LO allow players to either make more OR make these rentals cost less. It will always feel P2W, the W is very general in this context where "Winning" is just being able to keep more money every week instead of spending it on weapon rentals. I mean shoot, I have a huge arsenal and can't remember the last time I rented a gun. Imagine trying to rent just 3 guns for 1 week. (all 3 open slots)
  14. Can't find a suggestion thread on this even though it has been discussed numerous times on threads. Seems obvious. Reasoning: All cosmetics should have account bound purchase options. Mostly affects untradable Clothing and Vehicles Yes, Vehicle Kits potentially can be used on cars available in game, thus tradable in the in-game marketplace (or sent via mail)...but not all Vehicle Kits can be used that way. All ARMAs clothing cannot be traded in the in-game Marketplace, even those which used to be in-game (ex. Double Gun Holster Back) All ARMAs exclusive vehicles cannot be traded in the in-game Marketplace (many customizable ones have in-game purchase options anyway). There is an option to Account Bound upgrade Weapons...but not clothing or vehicles. You can get Account Bound Weapon skins (packs and individually)...but not clothing or vehicles. There are already a few big bundles that clearly make this possible...but there are so many bundles that don't have this option. Pros: More reason to buy character slots. Justified prices for those individual items that are not 99G1C. Easier than debundling everything. Cons: Only a con if you don't have multiple character slots and just don't understand how bad people want virtual, pixelated, legwarmers without spending a fortune. Only a con if you hate people are wasting money buying virtual goods to support a game with tones of customization.
  15. I have a rather complex suggestion, so please stick with me here. So, you all are very well aware of all those allegations that Armas guns are P2W. At the same time, you also might've noticed there's been no new weapons for those who don't buy stuff from Armas - not just reskins, but actually new weapons, like ACES, Scout or ATAC, for example. The only weapons we've been given are M1922 and OSCAR - it's something, but require going through slow and tedious progress of leveling newest contacts and always come with two slots, which not everyone might need (or need more, but guess what - for 3-slotted M1922 you'd have to spend WAY too much than it's actual worth; glad Matt Scott himself noticed that too). Sure, there's Joker vendors, but you'd have to go through Fight Club if you want to get all those guns, and even then it'll take a while (no, contact activities give chump change, it's out of the question). Plus not all of us like playing on Fight Clubs (I sure don't). Which brings me to my suggestion. What I'm proposing is a complete rework of Armas and weapon earning process. In my opinion, all the different weapons with unique statistics should be obtainable the same way as any other. As in, unlocked through contacts as non-slotted versions and through leveling specific weapon rank for slotted versions. As for Armas, what should only be sold there are reskins. I'm sure no one would mind cashing out for a cool looking reskin of the gun they love using that also has a convenient feature of being permanent and account bound, but also no one would complain about P2W, because you'll be well aware that, for example, some guy killing you with STAC is, in fact using a reskinned SR15 which you can always get from contacts and be on an even battlefield, where only the actual skill will matter. And as for Joker vendors, I'd say there should be Joker exclusive reskins with unique mods, but nothing too imbalanced please. OCA Whisper or Joker Box weapons would definitely fall into that theme. What about clothing, weapon skins and car parts? Well that one's rather easy. Cash shop exclusive stuff of that sort is absolutely fine. But there also should be a good variety for those who don't spend money. It kinda hurts seeing all available car parts for every car hidden behind paywall. After all, APB's customization is the holy grail of it. Completely paywalling it is a big no-no. For a good example of how it should work see Path of Exile - the game is basically thriving for several years now. And it's cash shop only sells reskins and minor inconvenience removers, nothing more. Well, that's all I have. I really wanted to share this with everyone for 7 years straight, but only now, with our new benefactors from Little Orbit, I feel safe to suggest something so radical.
  16. Also another route it could take inside of increasing joker tickets is make the permanent items account bound instead of character bound, making the grind a little less. JT weapons are supposed to be there to provide 'a taste of ARMAS' to non-paying players, so if you remove Joker Tickets and fold the current crop of Ticket weapon leases into regular leases, what happens to future ARMAS additions going forward? I doubt it would effect ARMAS that greatly, but I do agree somewhat with the first statement. I know there is the mission tracker but I also wish for another way to achieve JT's due to the fact not everyone "gets gud" in fightclub.
  17. An account wide locker/bank would be great but bare in mind that you're mixing money from criminals and enforcers so I'm not so sure if that would be a good idea. As much as I agree and would like to see this, It's the same issue and actually may be the same reason why Characters can't migrate from server to server. Cross server player made content may become corrupted or fragmented during transition. Even if a independent server was made just for account wide content holding, that's an extra layer which is another potential point of content transition errors occurring. Pretty much my sentiment exact. I have 2 enforcers and 1 criminal and may get another criminal. The cost of Armas is NOT the problem. The problem is that some content which cost higher are character bound and not given an option for account wide. This come across as being deceptive in the eyes of some. While some people may want a middle price just to have an item for a single character but why do some packs and bundles not come in account wide versions??? As much as I want to speak highly of Little Orbit, this is really not consumer friendly feeling.
  18. I'm still hoping for this to be done. I currently have purchased the character-bound copy from Joker Store, but would like to invest in an account-bound one from ARMAS to have on both my characters.

    Fix ARMAS Issues

It's not really gone un-noticed by anyone I don't think that some things on ARMAS are a bit wonky, or at least less than ideal, so I just wanted to make a list of some things that I think most people will agree are issues and need fixing. Note that all prices I mention, unless otherwise stated, will be for permanent account bound without premium. 1] Pricing for guns is entirely random; there's simply no consistency. Ideally, there should be a few consistent price setups for guns: E.G. ARMAS only primaries, in-game available primaries, and ARMAS only secondaries, and maybe preset primaries, (potentially changing depending on PR1 or PR2 in some cases,) (note that there are no in-game secondaries you can buy on ARMAS, though I personally think you should be able to buy the in-game role-locked secondaries, or something equivalent, on ARMAS.) Here are some examples of the insanity of ARMAS: The most expensive single gun on ARMAS is the Shredder SB R&D III at about $50, despite almost nobody liking it and it virtually universally being considered underpowered. The FR0Gs are each different prices, with the best FR0G being the cheapest. (It's worth noting that the cheapest one doesn't come with skins like the other two, but I'll touch on that later in point 5.) The secondaries with in-game meshes are all different random prices (Two at 1,799, and one each at 2,799, 3,499, and 2,899.) Sometimes preset variants of guns are the same price, sometimes they're cheaper, and sometimes, as with the SHAW and ALIG, the preset variant is more expensive. Presets should either be the same price or cheaper across the board. Many guns have bizarre price differences between seemingly equivalent variant and derivative guns, E.G. the ACES Rifle is more expensive than the ACES SMG, the ATAC 'Watchman' is far more expensive than the 'Patroller', the TAS20 - Stock costs more than the Tactical: the list goes on, I think you get the point. 2] Some guns were removed from ARMAS that really should not have been for no good reason: STAR 556 LCR PR1, STAR 556 'LCR' PR2, and STAR 556 'LCR' 'Old Glory': The LCR is an entirely unique gun that cannot be obtained except a not so great version on the Joker Store, which isn't really sustainable if you actually want to use the gun consistently. Having it no longer obtainable at all is simply dumb. (Note that the Old Glory was never totally added to ARMAS.) OCA-EW 626.2-SD 'Silverado': This is the only way you can have any level of CJ and a silencer on an OCA, since they're both red mods. The trade-off is that it's only CJ2, but still, it's not a terrible trade-off for a little less recoil necessarily. This is a unique and fun gun that should be available IMO, though it's not essential that it be added back, and I can see a case for it being a fun exclusive for older players who bought it before it was removed. Colby SNR 850 PR1: I know a lot of people think the SNR is just a troll gun, but that doesn't mean people should be incapable of getting one of the two best versions of this gun, and the only permanent version that was readily available before it was removed. N-HVR 762-SD PR2: Sniper rifles are one of the few categories where silencers are useful, considering that they're effective past radar range so being more quiet can give an advantage since you're not on the radar anyways. Better yet, you could put an N-HVR 762-SD DVAH (Sniper Silencer and two open slots) on ARMAS, since you can already obtain the Golden N-HVR 762-SD Dvah off of the Joker Store and the PSR 'Osprey' R&D III off of ARMAS, which is a reskin of the N-HVR 762 with a Sniper Silencer and two slots. 3] Additionally, the RAF exclusive guns, specifically the VBR 'Temptress' and Obeya CAP40-C NFCP 2 should be added to ARMAS, as they're unique and entirely unobtainable, only ever being obtainable through the unfinished RAF system that was on ARMAS. Alternatively, they could be added as loyalty rewards. 4] The Joker RFP-9 'Comanche' and ACT44 'Pillager' still say they're not skinnable, despite this being fixed ages ago. (Side note, the gun should be named " ACT 44 'Pillager' ".) 5] The distribution of the unique skins in the FR0G series of pistols needs to be fixed. There are three pistols and six skins. Two of the three pistols come with two skins each. The third pistol comes with no skins. The pack of all three pistols comes with two skins that are exclusive to the pack (six skins total.) From this data it's clear to me that the original intent was for each pistol to come with two skins, but RP decided that they wanted to add a bundle, and put something exclusive in it as a marketing tactic, so they took two of the skins from one pistol and put them as exclusives for the bundle instead of making something to be an exclusive for the bundle. Please fix this and give each FR0G two skins, because ~31% off of the price is already enough incentive to buy the pack. 6] The Hazard skin is displayed on an AMG-556 'Medusa', which is not a skinnable gun. I believe the intent was probably to picture an AMG-556 'Euryale', but as it is showing the skin on a gun that you cannot put skins on is false advertising. Similarly, the Urban Spec Ops skin is displayed on a silenced variant of the N-HVR 762, which you can no longer obtain a skinnable version of (See point 2.) 7] Tons of images are missing off of ARMAS. 8] The pricing on kits and cars is extremely bizarre and random. . . . and that's all of the main issues I can think of off of the top of my head, if anyone else has any to bring up I might add them to the OP, but please LO, fix your stuff man.
  20. Boys and girls of APB; As many of you who still roam the forum, I've been playing this wonderful and amazing game since the old RTW days, on and off. After following LO in social media since they took over, reading their posts, watching the new engine stream, seeing the amazing work they are doing and how open @MattScott is with the community, I'm posting my list of suggestions to improve the game, hoping to get some traction and reaching the people who can take action. Feel free to add your own suggestions, I'll edit the post to include them. CHEATING An actual, working anti-cheat for the game would be nice... Shadow ban hackers so they can only play against other hackers - this is the feature I want to see the most. Ban macros and triggerbots - these external apps are not being monitored at all and there are clans that even distribute them to all members as if a triggerbot was something normal and acceptable to use in any other shooter game... Add potential cheater flagging methods based on stats, so a mod is required to review a player live in a district to determine if they are hacking (ie: a K/D ratio above X ==> flags an account to be reviewed by a game mod). THREAT LEVEL Make intentional dethreating much harder (more games required to dethreat (especially to Bronze), additional factors considered to dethreat, etc) and lock gold players out of bronze districts (if you're a Silver threat player in a Bronze district and get bumped to Gold for abusing lower skilled players, you {and your group} should get automatically moved to a Silver/Gold threat server without the possibility of rejoining the Bronze district until there are no Gold players in the group). The game is already hard to pick up and currently new players get rekt until they uninstall by people that shouldn't be in low level districts owning them non-stop. Add more factors to how threat level is calculated (K/D ratio, assists, medals per game, etc). A new threat level above Gold and sub-levels within each threat level. A seasonal pinnacle reward system for reaching the highest levels (similar to Destiny 2) would be nice, but it won't work unless the hackers are dealt with. In a completely different, alternative scenario, remove threat level based districts, create a "skill level" value for every player and allow anyone to join any district, but make the matchmaking strict within skill level. WEAPONS Rethink weapon balance: instead of nerfing the weapons that perform well, take what makes them good and buff the weaker weapons accordingly. This, of course, is tied to the vision LO has about the overall weapon balance, TTK, etc. Reduce the huge impact RnG has in gunfights. A LTL weapon series for Criminals, or at least an option as annoying as them. Add a "test" feature to Joker Ticket weapons similar to what the ARMAS marketplace has. Weapon loadout creation for easy swaps during missions. ACCOUNT-WIDE CHANGES Increase to symbol, theme, song and clothing limit. Symbols, cash and Joker tickets shared across all characters in the same account. Add a safe way to quickly transfer tradeable weapons between characters from the same account. Make Joker ticket weapons account bound. SERVER CHANGES Server login queue. Increase population cap and remove Green threat servers. Have an Trainee exclusive server not visible from the District list) only available for new accounts until they get a proper threat level assigned. Add the option to turn off other player's customization (turn them into a default Criminal or Enforcer skin) to improve performance for lower end PCs. Rework in-mission spawns ensuring you can't have someone spawn X meters away from you with direct LoS. Ping considered for matchmaking. OTHER / QOL Disable other players' car radio. Please. Pretty please. Character and vehicle customization limit increase. Increase the drop rate of vinyls Twitch integration (streamer mode, Twitch drops, Twitch Prime packs). Clan progression and the always requested Clan base/house/club/whatever. Create a standard tutorial mission for new players against bots, going over the basics. Take faster and harder action against Nazi symbology. Every day I see multiple people with Swastikas and SS uniforms roaming the Social district like there's nothing wrong with that and it's weird AF...

    JT Store refund

Honestly the Sword looks like garbage with every skin due to it's matte-like material. The blood rose skin is the only skin that looks good on it. Like you said: That's the whole point of it, is so you can try out weapons and make your decision. Armas guns even give you a discount if you buy the weapon soon after taking it for a test drive. I would just take it as a lesson learned, (another FYI people don't like the sword compared to the NTEC and CR5 for reasons. Also you get a free Account bound Sword as a reward if you spend enough on the armas, I think it's the first reward you unlock)
  22. Hello everyone, A new patch is going up onto the Live servers for PC. This patch will be happening on Wednesday 9/16/2020. The Patch is scheduled to start at 9 AM UTC and will last up to 6 hours. Console will have its normal maintenance starting at 9 AM UTC as well. OVERVIEW Our PC patch this week covers a number of important changes to the game. First, we are making clothing more accessible by fundamentally reimagining how bundles work and by bringing over 100 clothing items to the Joker Store. Second, we are beginning the process of balancing weapons in APB. Finally, third, we are making changes to Baylan missions based on community feedback. You can read all about these changes in the linked posts above! With regards to our weapon changes, is important to stress that these are the first step towards establishing a baseline "Meta" that we can build from in the future. Accordingly, this patch may not address weapons that are unused or underpowered at the moment. That doesn't mean they are forgotten. We aim to give every weapon some ability to compete, but to do so we will need your informed feedback. Please spend some time playing with the guns before letting us know how these changes work for you! PC CHANGES/FIXES Clothing Changes Bundles now apply discounts based on owned items. You can read all about this change here. Over 100 clothing items have been added to Ophelia in the Joker Store. Known Issue - Certain clothing items purchased from the Joker Ticket store can be refurbished but are not able to be traded. The items being untradeable is working as intended. The ability to refurbish them is broken and will be fixed in a subsequent patch. Known Issue - Attempting to purchase character bound clothing items with a full inventory will fail but will not produce an error message. This will be fixed in a subsequent patch. Weapon Balance We applied a first balance pass to bring weapon types in-line with each other. You can read all about specific changes and their reasoning here. Like the OBIR, the FFA was also balanced. Specifics didn't make it in to the above blog post, so we are providing them to you here: Bolt timer: false -> true (Nerf) Reserve ammo: 240 -> 144 (Nerf) Mission Balance One of the big takeaways from the community was that, while many of you preferred territory control, you also wanted Baylan missions to be shorter. We reduced the average Baylan mission length to about 10 minutes from 15 minutes by adjusting the amount of points required to win if one team is dominating. We also reduced the time it takes to do certain objectives in the game. We have reduced these objectives from 30 seconds to between 15 to 20 depending on the objective. We have adjusted most missions related to driving cars around. On average, these missions have been reduced from 10 minutes to 7 minutes. All VIP missions have been changed to 23 lives for the attacker and 8 lives for the VIP. Stages where attackers are defending objectives have had their time limits adjusted so that multiple objectives are taken into account. We have made various adjustments to missions that were missed in previous patches. Sakebee
  23. Threat is account bound at all times. No matter what district you join. The only way to be T is by creating a whole new acc. As soon as you lose T-threat (if it can be called this way) it's no longer possible to regain it on that account again, the lowest you can be is green.
  24. Account bound means every character you have made or will make will have that item, regardless of server
