Matt doesn't owe us anything. All of you are just overreacting whilst the "smart" people just move on to different better games. I've spent a load of money on APB myself but with "investing" in to a game you should realize that you're always going to lose that money. 1. You'll never get it back anyways. 2. Not a single game will survive your entire lifetime. 3. You're spending money on an account that isn't even yours. I genuinely do not understand why people care so much for APB or anything Matt does, they clearly do not have the resources to accomplish the goals that they had set when they took over nor the goals that they have set in the previous months. It's mind boggling that there are still people that genuinely think sh*t is going to get done and APB:R is going to be a big hit. Just wait and see, they don't owe you guys anything no matter how much time and money you have invested in their game.

Same thing happened to me, however I was never penalized for it. I got scammed, out of my own stupidity and blind trust, by a person who claimed to be from Israel, and rich. The steam account linked to my apb account was banned long ago due to refunds, however I can still play using my gamersfirst credentials.. I suppose APB still got the money and steam was the one scammed in the end, lol.

I'm too lazy to read the whole thing so I'll jump to only replying to the title - close the game; yes, it's not being properly maintained so just close servers until 1.30... if it hapens. Ban new accounts? That's [redacted], makes no sense -
I wish it was a troll post but, this game is plagued with blatant low ranks in fight club and normal districts. You can't just move to a other server since the player base is too small. Closets will not get banned but, the blatant low ranks are easy to pick out. So my idea is to close registrations and ban all the recent made accounts. This will solve the issue of rerolling blatant no lifers. This is the only solution i see since this is probably the bare minimum Little Orbit can do effort wise. -

The problem is that there are players whose level of play is much higher than the rest, they have broken through the golden ceiling, the level of their game is somewhere in the stratosphere. This moment is not taken into account when picking an opponent. I have a gold level, but I feel powerless if I meet such opponents. The game leaves me no choice, I understand that I will lose, but I have no way to call for help or leave the mission without penalties or shutting down the game. The game tells me to be meat for the next 5 minutes. The number of people on the server, the division of threat areas, does not exclude the occurrence of the situation described above. The system of taking on the enemy is necessary, and most importantly, it is possible to change it right now. The system should not be loyal to veterans, as it is now. The system should be loyal to inexperienced, new players. They are the bright future of this game. New players enter the game because they have an interest in the gameplay, in editors, in customization. They don't know about Armas, cool guns, keys to the city, premium subscription. They are not interested in new contacts 255+ rank. The new long-awaited update WITHOUT CHANGING THE OPPOSITOR SELECTION SYSTEM does not accept new players into the game, the old ones will come, they will come to look and leave. And if you ask them why are you leaving? They will answer - NOTHING CHANGED IN THIS GAME. I am surprised by the people in whose hands this game was and is. Isn't what I wrote above obvious? You have invested your own money and time in this game. You have the problem of losing population, the main resource needed for the game to work. The problem can be solved now, yesterday, a year ago, 10 years ago. And you don't have time. The game has become a classic. Sometimes messages from players appear in the game chat with memories of their CHILDHOOD times, about how well they played this game. You are developing a new version of the game, you are talking about new contacts, more stable fps. Yes, it is interesting to people who know about this game. Will it be of interest to new players? I think no. When you are bent, you don't think about how to open a new contact, you think about how to run away. -
More things should be made account wide, in-game money, JT's and rare acitivity rewards. Rare activities should be removed entirely, then make those rare rewards randomly obtainable by playing missions and/or add them to the JT store.

Short summary of the AMA: - SPCT testing in february,possible open launch in april(1.30) - Easyanticheat returns with the launch - new matchmaking/cross district-needs more work not gonna be with the 1.30 release - the 2 new contacts-most likely yes(need to refill content stuff on them) - new tutorial/new player experience-most likely not with 1.30 release - weapon balances-things in works but for launch is unknown - console update-aint happening soon.They have to remake that code from 2x to the 1.30 code and gonna take time - new chat moderation tools/new anti toxicity measures-not with 1.30 launch - weapon roles/account wide weapon progression-again at a later stage - newer voIP will also not be added at launch(most likely) - old login screen-this is not coming back(old tech behind it)but they will make something similar later - battle passes-no but possible plans for premium changes(is down the road as well) My prediction what will happen.At this test in february(if is open to everybody)they will realize that still the optimization needs some work and will have to implement this cooked package sytem(which improve load times and the genaral smooth running)So they will delay the official 1.30 launch to may(when LO makes 5 years since took over)or to june(for the apb 13th anniversary)

Hello, everyone! Our standard weekly maintenance for PC and Console will also occur this Wednesday (04/19) at 9 AM (UTC). It is expected to last between 4 and 6 hours due to more extensive patching for PC. Check out the supplementary patch notes below! Thank you for being patient during this period. See you in the game! GENERAL CHANGES: We are saying goodbye to the Easter Bunny. We will conclude the Easter Event and revert districts to their normal state. POTENTIAL BUG FIX: Implemented an experimental change that should hopefully fix a bug where players occasionally appear in strange positions after exiting cars. BALANCE CHANGES: We moderately decreased the effective and max falloff range of the Colby .45 AP. We adjusted the STAR's jump modifier from 30 to 10. This adjustment should improve the players' experience while running and gunning with the weapon. We adjusted the STAR LCR's jump modifier from 13 to 10, keeping in line with the STAR it is based on. The FAR's jump modifier has been adjusted from 30 to 20. The adjustment places it between the NTEC's and the STAR's. Mikro and Vaquero (Enforcer / Criminal Compact) car's top speed has been adjusted slightly: from 19.5 to 20.5. Mikro's reverse speed has been adjusted from 13 to 15, making it equal to the Vaquero's. Epinephrine Injection: Damage taken: 25% -> 40%. KNOWN ISSUES: The achievement "Kind of a Big Deal" does not increment if you are already threat level gold and if your character existed after your account achieved the threat level gold. Stalls can occur upon entering the Clothing Kiosk with "NEW!" items. In bomb missions, bombs will hit 0 but not count as "exploded" if the player who planted them is removed during a mission. I'm not justifying shit lmao. That's something everyone else is trying to assign an arbitrary value to. If I was "justifying" it, I'd keep doing it. It was wrong, I shouldn't have made the symbol, it was childish and dumb. But that was never the point of the post to begin with, people are just getting overly mad at that small fact so THEY can justify completely disregarding how absolutely broken my account is for what should've been a simple 1 minute procedure of removing the symbol. Because apparently it their eyes LO can't do anything wrong, or something like that since they don't want to acknowledge it. -

I've had my account for over a decade and I've never been banned once. You tried being an edgelord and now you're whining because you got more than you bargained for. Ive had my account for over a decade as well, muppet. Only time Ive ever been banned was for this, and only once. Oh, and cant tell me you've never broke the ToS before, everyone in APB has. Whether by insults, symbols, ear-spam themes, etc etc etc. Nothing in their ToS states that your account will be royally destroyed in the process of receiving a temp ban. But yeah, go ahead and excuse their shitty practices and incompetence, that doesnt make you look any worse at all /s -

Meyer Leonard from the nba destroyed his career by calling someone an obscure jewish racial slur. I would be thanking support for not deleting your account instead of trying to call them out for incompetence if I were you. -

You made a badge with very clear knowledge of the hateful historic rhetoric of said badge, and proudly displayed it on your clothing... You don't need to be using overtly hateful images and words like slurs or swastikas to communicate effective propaganda. Jokes make people laugh, hate makes people act, fear, and target others. The fact you weren't "spewing" propaganda is false - clearly you know this since you received a ban over the symbol. As for the conflict over you account being reinstated, no member of the forum can help you. The only group is the one that you've already tried. Surely they can help, maybe the member of the team that you've had help this far is unable to, but the whole of the support staff should have someone. You may need to escalate it. If support is truly unable or does not desire to, then there isn't anything else you can do. If you wish to try small claims court to get compensated for your things, then you could fight to get money back, but doubtful you would get anything with your agreement to the ToS and CoC broken. -

yeah everyone gets that, we just don’t care because he’s the kind of person that should probably be permabanned, and there’s nothing we can do about his account anyway maybe the next person to get a bugged account will at least pretend to be a well-adjusted human being and everyone will be up in arms for them, but until then “don’t do stupid shit and get banned” is a solid fix for this issue -

Yo, so I wanted to buy some G1C with Steam wallet. As I checked the Steam paying option was gone, every other payment method was aviable tho. I'm playing APB on Steam and I have cash on my account. any idea what to do? also idk if this belongs here, if not I'm sorry. Thanks in advance

Yes, there is no button available for Steam payments usually, unless you are using the ingame Steam browser. This has almost always been the case. But you can always access https://checkout.gamersfirst.com/credits/amounts/Steam/DE - BUT you can only actually pay with Steam if your Steam and your G1 account are linked. You can do that in the normal browser too, just be logged into Steam and Gamersfirst (- with the linked accounts!) and use the URL I put above. You might wanna change your countrycode if it doesn't do so automatically though. (You do need to provide one though.) This also works when you are in any other game that uses Steam, so you'd only need to log into G1 (with the linked account).

All I have to say is thanks little orbit for getting me and surely several other players hopes up for the game to be revamped, also thanks for telling me "you'll most likely be unbanned!" and then telling me that my account will be permenantly suspended after making me wait almost 2 months, It's also nice that you unbanned all the cheaters including all of their alts, also thanks for unbanning some of the people that did fraud payment but yet got unbanned, and finally, thanks for unbanning , he reported me for real world trading which got me banned in a instant, and then plinx got banned a month later for real world trading, yet he got unbanned and I didn't! anyways, I am done with apb, I am quitting the game and the community, the only way I'll ever come back is if I magically get unbanned somehow, I'm not going to put another couple thousand dollars into an account that'll probably get banned listed under "other" randomly. it's been a good run on this game for the past 8 years, time to hang up my carbine

It usually takes longer than 2 days,i've had that same problem with my account. You just need to wait it out. Or send another one in ~5 days.

Up to you really, I'd get some premium to get that cash rolling then perhaps a few weapons/reskins i like and then the armas exclusive clothing would probably come last. Most weapons from armas are reskins obviously with the exceptions of a handful few like the CSG ISSR-B but you can get week long leases from the joker store of these weapons too yadayada. The only real advantage they'll provide are open mod slots unless it's a preset wep but the originals from Contacts offer this as well as soon as you progress to a certain weapon role. I buy them both for new looks sound and the open customizable slots. Worth the price if you're buying account bound want to support the game and looking to try something new that comes with open slots for your future characters, though i'd probably wait for a sale first with prices like these.

Perspective from inside - TES fans for long wanted multiplayer and pushed Bethesda about it. Suddenly everyone withdraw that, everyone are freaking scared of what Bethesda gonna do... Even Fallout 4 was ...mediocre at best but Fallout 76, took cake. Obvious buggy moneygrab. Usage of modding community to fix their damn mess. Thank God every modder refused to even put finger but that's maybe because of the fact that this shit is MULTIPLAYER. Fanboyism at Bethesda is still high. I don't understand why. I'm also interested in it. Looks like real work was put in that game. Few visible issues but it was alpha back then so nothing you can't Polish. (See what I did there :P) How writer can affect such big company as Bethesda? Also he got some success with Fallout 3 on his account. He put F3 on modern tracks... but F4 was at best mediocre. No matter how you look... it's Todd who got final say in anything. He allowed it, he present it, he dare to even joke from some Skyrim edition in row - in that person you should look fault.
