  1. Oh neat My question would be: As a long time APB fan who slowly drifted away due to the rushed, lacking, or otherwise incongruent additions to the world building and lore, is there any chance LO would be open to suggestions on updating the contacts and faction they've created to better suit the games aesthetic and world? Or would that be a pointless endeavour to pursue? Hope it all goes well regardless though
  2. Summary: All front plate textures on the new Sungnyemun Mirage are misaligned Description: The front number plate textures on the new Sungnyemun Mirage S-24 are all misaligned and are cut off on the bottom and left areas Steps to Reproduce: 1. Customise the Sungnyemun Mirage S-24 2. Go to the Plate customisation 3. Angle camera to the front of Vehicle 4. Change plate to any option from 9/12 to 12/12 for easy visual clarification How many times have you recreated this bug: 100% Results: The left and bottom sides of the number plate textures are cut off from the plate and aren't displayed correctly. This applies to all plate variations, but is most noticeable on plates 9, 10, 11, and 12 Expected Results: The plate texture should properly display within the boundaries of the front number plate model like all other vehicles with front plates
  3. Clothing huh? I'd like to see a bunch of the unreleased stuff get touched up and finally make their way out in properly customisable form Things like: Glossy Do-rag Glossy T Alice Band - Male Fingerless Gauntlet (L) + Female Version Fingerless Gauntlet (R) + Female Version Gauntlet (L) + Female Version Gauntlet (R) + Female Version [ Safety Goggles (Neck) + Female Version Safety Goggles (Head) + Female Version Webbing Vest + Female Version Webbing Vest (Holster) + Female Version Police Badge (Neck) + Female Version Prentiss Tigers Badge (Neck) - M Prentiss Tigers Badge (Neck) - F Then maybe some more generic streetwear/punk themed clothing alongside some more swat themed clothing Neck-worn headsets, more general body/face piercings, lighter half-face mask, different finger rings
  4. Here's to a productive 2023 then I hope! Also I'm sure you're already aware, but the new contacts already have their voice over, subtitles, and non-email lore done. I just hope you don't double up on an unnecessary workload Though I'll be interested to see what kind of changes these plans will bring, so good luck to the team
  5. Best of luck to the team then. Hopefully this way ends up with better results
  6. I'm guessing you're referring to the "Occult - Demoness" weapon skin that was released as a reward for Halloween 2019, and purchasable on ARMAS during the Halloween season. The promotional image: Inventory preview: In-game preview: There are no flashy effects or major weapon changes associated with this skin. With the exception of the OCA-EW 626 'Whisper' apparently.
  7. I'm guessing you're referring to the difference between the Combats and the Tactical Trousers, which can also be bought on ARMAS From what I can tell, the male Tactical Trousers do not have the ability to wear any belts outside of the larger, loose belt category (Bullet Hip Belt, Crossed Belts, Utility Belt, Wide Studded Belt) It does not seem likely that the Tactical Trousers will have any belts created specifically for it at this time, or in the near future. If you want to wear a belt with it, I would recommend either one of the loose belts listed above, or one of the webbing belts (Army Belt, or Tactical Belt) Females can wear normal belts with them, though they will look strange

    Enforcer Only Vehicles

For the firehawk kit, also remember to change: - Wing Mirrors -> Firehawk W. Mirrors Police Ed. - Front Bumpers -> Firehawk Front B. Police Ed. to something else as well as setting: - Top Enforcer Lights - Front Enforcer Lights - Siren Flash Pattern - Siren Audio to None Sometimes the faction lock doesn't seem to update automatically, but renaming the item will force it to update.
  9. Jack Character: DOMINIKWOLFRAM Server: JERICHO
  10. Previously owned "Born Dead" outfit. Recommend clean before use. Character: UndeadGuy Server: Citadel
  11. Second hand "Tiger's Training" Outfit. Worn once. Character: UndeadGuy Server: Citadel
  12. I give you San Paro's worst superhero/vigilante Goggle Man Part man, part goggles. Character: ROXL Server: JERICHO
  13. As strange, or annoying, as it might seem, it does appear to be an intentional change based off the information found on their blogpost. The items that are still listed as free are likely due to them not yet being purchasable from the Joker Store While it would be nice for the ARMAS bought items to not have the low price costs, it doesn't seem like there's a clean or elegant solution for it. Though it would be nice if the prices were balanced a bit more around their respective clothing types. Looking at you $500 Tops & Bottoms
  14. They were all made in, and are screenshots from, the current engine
  15. I dunno about perfect faces, but here's some I've worked on over the years
  16. Gets better each time I see it. Good work! 1. Regardless of what state it ends up in, there'd still be quite a bit of work to implement something like this in-game. However, I'd think it'd still be worth the effort to work on, even if it's just to show off 2. I still play a bit every now and then but exploring map changes, or a new map in this case, would bring me back real quick. 3. Due to APB's nature, I'd have a hard time seeing a map as big as this as anything besides a mission district. Though that would require placing and balancing of both mission objective points and gameplay elements. Though perhaps blocks could be cornered off and playtested in a sort of mock fight club styled district. Might be an interesting challenge
  17. Favourite clothes to design with have been: Ringer T Combats Baggy Jeans (F) Hand Wraps Uniform Shirt Followed up by: Baseball Jersey (F) Military Jumper (F) Short-sleeved Shirt Skate Shoes Baggy Shorts Auto-included items are usually underwear, socks, and one of the two earpiece accessories. It would be nice to finally replace my pt enforcer necklace placeholders with the custom prentiss ones but that seems unlikely

    Symbol Outline Errors

Summary: Some of the recent symbols produce strange results when given the "Outline" effect Description: The following symbols have cut-off outlines when given the "Outline" effect in the symbol editor: Anniversary Grenade Anniversary SMG Anniversary Sniper Anniversary Open Revolver Anniversary Rifle Celebrating 10 Years Image: The following symbols have extremely thin or broken outlines when given the "Outline" effect in the symbol editor: Occult Font Snowcap Font Ballet Dancer Yeti Broom Top Hat Krampus Holiday Lights Sad Snowman Pipe Rat King Scarf Images: Steps to Reproduce: Purchase/Obtain any symbols listed above Enter into the Symbol Designer Create a new symbol Add one of the symbols listed above into the layers With the symbol selected, change the "Effect" from "No Effect" to "Outline" How many times have you recreated this bug: 100% Results: Symbols from most of the Anniversary Pack have the outer regions of their outline cut off. While symbols from the Occult Font set, Snowcap Font set, and Christmas primitive set, have extremely thin or broken outlines. Expected Results: Outlines maintain a uniform outline effect without being cut short, broken, or extremely thin.
  19. Oh boy! Here goes Joker Distribution trying to hire more celebs to front their store. As there does not appear to be any limits on design submissions, aside from them looking like they're from San Paro, here are mine. Most aren’t even related to any Joker Industries branding. 20. Vendetta looked like it was a prototype. I'd hazard a guess that nothing substantial was developed outside of the basic small map, the primitive movement, and maybe that Gossamer model. Maybe, with the team at the time, they might have had some basic story/lore set out. But then again, we got presets with no text later that year so who knows what state it was in... Can't say much on Retribution though. Didn't have an iOS device at the time, and it looks like it's no longer available to download nowadays. Though what little I have seen leaves a lot to be desired.
  21. I could have sworn that spot had been reported on the new bug forums, but it is quite an old one. Reminds me that you can still get inside the roof of the adjacent building even after it was "fixed" As a heads up for anyone who has to deal with this one though, the easiest places to take out people on the roof will be one of these spots:
  22. So Pagan Bloodrose (Criminal) and Simon Tran (Enforcer) started out as unused tutorial contacts, later repurposed to be "experimental" mission givers in Waterfront, and now reside in Asylum as a shop. They could be used for more, and personally I'd like to see them return to the normal mission districts one day. Also if they were to add "shop" contacts into Baylan/Beacon, I think it'd be better to add them as some sort of physical manifestation of the fight club voice contacts. There's like 8 different voices for fight club missions but no faces attached to them. Inky, Binky, Pinky, Winky, and Clyde, alongside LCTester1/2/3, are part of old testing districts, and are/were likely used to check contact progression systems/UI while the game was being developed. I doubt they're scrapped contacts or an early predecessor of Tiptoe. The likely reason some have an early/short LaRocha's bio was to check how the UI handled larger quantities of text. Some of their names are also a sly reference to the english nicknames for the ghosts in Pacman. If they used an actual contact model, I'd imagine they'd have used either a placeholder model or YoDawg's model. Speaking of which, the picture Binky, Pinky, and LCTester2/3 share is the contact portrait of YoDawg. He was the apparent leader, or perhaps social contact, of the third planned criminal faction Red Rain. Red Rain was the "big name" criminal faction that would occupy the Midtown district alongside the enforcers SPPD faction. Good news is there's a new contact on the horizon once the Engine Upgrade™ is released. Being Lynette Casey for enforcers, and Lucas Van Rooyen for criminals. Supposedly they're bringing new toys and new levels. Though apparently the team is looking into reducing their 20 level specialist status. I do agree that it would be nice to have something to work towards beside weapon roles. APB: Vendetta was their failed attempt at bringing in additional funding for their engine upgrade efforts. Apparently their intention was to develop this arena shooter in the newer version of Unreal to acquaint themselves with it and bring that newfound knowledge back to the upgrade process. Didn't quite pan out though. As for the characters present in the kickstarter post, 6 of them are already in-game, while the other 5 are various concept designs from prior artists. It would be interesting seeing them appear in-game, however most of the concept art characters have wildly varied designs to what gets used as actual contacts. You may be confusing APB: Vendetta with APB: Retribution. Retribution was the bizzare iOS mobile game, from Blazing Griffin, that came out of nowhere. Vendetta was the Reloaded teams attempt at making another PC game.
  23. Except Joker lost the helicopter pilot contract to Somatic. After which: It's technically already in the game though? The "Joker M9", referred to in that weapons catalogue image, ended up becoming the "Joker RFP-9" in a similar way that the "Dart Gun" became the "Stabba - TG-8", and the "Stun Gun - NL9-STABBA" became the "Stabba - PIG". The model just received some kind of box thing on the front, and an extended magazine Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see more weapon variants in the game. But I'm not sure an early RFP model is quite the right fit.
  24. Just went to check, and there definitely seems to be something strange going on. On my max rank Enforcer, the Broadwing B101 "Patrol", Veo ES-21 "Colt", and the Vegas G20-03 "T Force" all show a Rank 195 requirement when purchasing inside the Vehicle Editor/Garage. Yet their description lists the correct rank. And even stranger is purchasing them from a contact, in this case Sofia, they all show the correct Rank.
  25. That map can be found unobstructed in the southside "Chapel" area of Asylum, but the one in the image used can be found over in the south-western side in "The Asylum Club"
