I just mean I personally haven't read the reviews in a long time. In my opinion, adding new content won't bring a permanent population back. The issues with Hitreg seem to have been resolved with this update. The update to UE3.5 will definitely bring players back. Simply having just a "financial" instance, and allowing for players to all have a cross-instance matchmaking for all 'financial' districts would resolve the issue of matchmaking pools. If a district has no threat, the matchmaking should ensure that a green player does not ever play a gold player (with the exception of them being in a private group with a gold player) Although, once again, this is my own personal opinion.

Are those still prevalent... I haven't checked steam reviews in a long long time.

So, I was doing some research on how triggerbots work in general, not just for APB. The biggest one being CS:GO. And within the game... your crosshair doesn't change color, yet triggerbotting still works... The mechanics behind it follow the observance of a point, and whether or not that point changes. You can aim at a person, hold whatever you set your trigger down, and if the point changes, it fires. Thus, you can use it even if the crosshair colors didn't change. reference:

I mean, we had a fun gamemode similar to BR... the Halloween Event... and the Anarchy Event... I rather liked those, especially the Anarchy event... if it came back, some adjustments to maps, whether using a fight club map,(probably asylum) and more than just a "winner" for money and JT, more rewards, like some money, JT, and I guess a joker box or 2, that would have some good incentives for players to join.

Maybe because as it stands we'd have to lose one of the other fight clubs? Honestly, I think a rotation would be good, it would allow for Beacon to be around more often, and Asylum to still stay. Like every month they switch. On top of that- MattScott has said that they're planning a new gamemode already, which could take place of Fight Club in general. Although I would love to have Beacon back, I'm pretty optimistic to see what actual new content will be available.

Asylum never felt finished, and it's definitely not optimized. Beacon has also made a return a few times, and I'd certainly welcome it with open arms to be seen again.

imo, the N-TEC wasn't really that unbalanced. You don't balance the mechanics of guns off of the casual players, but the "pros" However, we don't really have a fully competitive gamemode that gives a similar environment to other competitive games. Balance the weapons off of the "specialists" for each category. No one is amazing with every-single-gun. Everyone has a weapon that they're not great at, maybe adequate, but we all have our preferences. I prefer to use: N-TECs, HVR's, ACES, SR15s, M1922, and JGs. I suck with shotguns, and can't really use them, even with this current update (damn you shredders) I still do somewhat well with my HVR and NTEC. I'm not a professional, nor a specialist. I'm not "qualified" to balance out the game, but there are others who have significantly more experience, and skill. Some have also been vocal, only to be drowned out as the minority.

Dragon Age closely resembles APB, but it has not had the same issues as APB. Little Orbit picked up a dying game, and are resuscitating the hell out of it. They made a wrong incision, but they're keeping the bleeding to a minimum the best they can. However weak the heart beat is, it's still here. Obviously... look at how many people still read, and browse the forums. People still look to this game happily, whether it be from memory, or current play. Best thing to do, is to wait for our near death patient to recover. In the mean time, if you wish to keep playing, bring some useful suggestions, clearly worded, thought out, and detailed for the game. Nay sayers all say the world is going to end tomorrow, and that you should either pray to god for your salvation, or buy some gold from them because the USD will collapse some times in a week. Don't be like that, be productive, if you want to ensure a secure currency, do that. If you want to provide for the future, go and get a degree in something that you think will benefit society. Wow **** ton of metaphors.

Topic about sums up a lot of my own thoughts about the game. Although, I think some weapon changes can be made by the team while the upgrade team work. The question is imo about bringing in non-meta guns back into the pool, not nerfing meta weapons. Weapon balancing is a very fine tuning art, which shouldn’t be based on the casual player. Valve balances CS:GO off of their competitive players and matches. The same applies to Rainbow Six. How can this be applied to apb without having the drastic ill-fated knowledge that most of the players in reality don’t understand. I will, however, admit that I’m not expert on the game’s weapons, I’m not a “professional” at this game either.
