Since I didn't read the main thread by MattScott until now, I'll help direct more information that way. https://forums.gamersfirst.com/topic/7694-explanation-of-recent-bans/ So, if you know anyone that's been falsely banned, please refer them to support as that's the sole channel for such requests. For any other information, Little Orbit, and BE have been doing their best to prevent the false flags and false bans by first implementing temporary bans, then settling on their decision prior to a permanent ban. In addition to this, they in fact do allow rerolls of accounts, so long as the new account does NOT cheat. According to the post, if a person owned several accounts, then all concurrent accounts were banned, so not one account was left unpunished. Take the ban as a form of "grounding". You get your time, but you're still allowed back in to play if you'll follow the rules set by the game master. edit: added link to thread for more clarity.

so far, the current system while appearing a bit slow, is working behind the scenes, hidden from plain view. But again, it appears to be working. If some people have, they've either voiced it on forums, and have been punished for breaking the forum rules. As evident by the big red button above. Or they've brought it up to support, and have had their situation explained. From what MattScott has said in the past, they're doing their best to prevent false flags. So, take that information as you wish.

Really? my setup seems to hold the gpu at about 50C, and the cpu at ~45C... ontop of the stable CPU OC at 4.4GHz

FFBans as stated, run by a third party. Giving any information on who's been banned incites negative reactions towards those people, which, regardless of right/wrong, is bad for: publicity - I'm sure you don't want people seeing your game is "infested" with hackers community - hatred insights more hatred. Since the removal of broadcasts, and shift of FairFight to the background trash can, we have seen much more positive actions amongst players. Go and play in Jericho, on silver Financial, I'm sure you'll see a lack of hackusations, rage, and overall negative emotions.

Little Orbit revived the SPCT to help aid in the further development and testing of the game... Probably, it worked before, and I forgot which update broke it. So that's probably something that I've forgotten about. If L.O. can fix Vivox and make it work with the new engine, then I have no issue. no need to replace it.

Sure this event had a plethora of issues. But either Little Orbit can honor their word, and proceed to move on, resolving to amend future events. Or they can patchwork this event, and make more people complain with them going back on their word, although still amending future events. I'd rather them do the first.

Vivox is trash... sorry but it sucks up cpu clocks and power, while not being used anymore/useful. While I think it's best to play with others, I know very well that is not an option all the time. Best thing would be to change to a new VoIP software.

Well, we're playing a 2011 Game, best thing is to use hardware from that era or as close to. (2012/13/14 isn't a bad choice if that's the only game you're playing). The game is optimized, and designed to run best on the original hardware. So in this case, less cores, and higher clock speeds are better. Dual cores run this game fairly well afaik. On top of older GPUs. The engine upgrade will be the best thing for this game. not for the performance boost, but for the optimization, and support for newer hardware.

I haven't had any of those Mission bugs occur with me... (And I would prefer the spawns to be fixed first) I agree with most of what's here. Pretty constructive, and spoken not as a doomsayer, like some other threads... Thank you.

They are? I'm quite sure BattlEye is doing its job. And for the few that do get through, the team is doing everything they can to stop them. What are you talking about? We're doing better than we had under G1. Glad we agree Face what? We already are facing it, and Little Orbit is doing what they should be. What more do you want? Some superficial A.I. that searches for people's intent to cheat on the basis of their eye contact with their monitor, their client actions, and excessive use of the processor that would not even allow the game to run to begin with? How would you feel if your privacy was compromised by the government in your home, to ensure that you weren't making any bombs? Regardless of your rights they did it anyways? Thus is the reason for the privacy policy, and government laws regarding what data can be exploited and not. (You know, like hacking a major corporation and making off with hundreds of thousands of credit card details). You can't inherently prevent every occurrence 100%, but you can mitigate, and deter the 99.9% of issues.

Hitboxes are always the same size... your resolution might be playing games on your eyes.
