Way too late. I had moved my account to Nexon, but then missed the date to move it to Papaya. I don't recommend playing it now. The netcode was switched from peer to peer, to peer to server. There's no more kill trading, and hit registration is god awful. I loved the p2p netcode because when you killed the other player and you didn't die, it meant you reacted first on both your screen and your opponents screen. They removed kill trading. Now close gunfights comes down to who the server decides to favor.

Players were banned for no reason, they have to return the accounts banned by the EAC, and then install a powerful anti-cheat, this EAC is horrible.

its all a big joke to pretend APB is not dead, to bait more players to spend real $$$ on armas marketplace. if they were serious about GMing they would get someone who actually knows how to do it, with experience and ability to make GM tools to totally BTFO the cheaters. but they aren't serious about it, mattscott's first action towards cheaters was to UNBAN THEIR ACCOUNTS THEY WERE CAUGHT CHEATING ON. the reason behind this was, there was a handful of silver players who got false-positived. instead of just unbanning those obviously legit players, he decided to let cheaters destroy the entire game for years. apb is a joke.

My weak opinion but really Dont get mad with Azuki, compared to a lot forums, academic included -.- , he/she(?) is a gem of a moderator with a lot of patience and common sense... the fact this post is still here and not fulminate removed togheter with your account and others complaining means something Noted what happened to others but also myself , The only times when my post or threads get cancelled happen when only casually when one or more SPCT get quite colorful riduculed while defending LO.. yep casually, we've already know LO doesnt care and doesnt read the forum as much they dont care and know the Client support sucks, so we can assume they go C R Y to Azuki for take actions, otherwise for real Azuki let them cook for well as much deserved/ right. That comment was in reference to the possibility of a security breach within my company. I'm sure you can sue over your account being compromised, but there would need to be extensive evidence. I doubt the payout would be much more than the items on your account, so not worth the time invested suing. If there were enough people reporting the incontinent, say 1000+, maybe it would be worth it, but only if each user could get compensated for their account's total playtime. Even then, the end user gets practically nothing. Most of the payout would go to the lawyers and investors, and LO will go under, defeating the purpose of getting your account and items back. -
My account was blocked due to the use of an unapproved third-party tool, what was that? I played with more than one account on the same computer, and one was blocked for this reason, I didn't understand the logic, I don't use programs to 'make it easier', I've been playing APB for over 8 years, until when will I be ignored in this game by support.

I doubt LO had any input on the recent bans. I know someone who bought an APB account. First logging in they were not trade locked. They were able to trade all the weapons and mods to their main account. The purchased account got banned a few days later, but the other accounts they have did not get banned. Same PCs, no VPN. If LO went by IP or HWIDs, you'd think all accounts would have been banned. -
I think the Game is crashed. I can´t log in, either with the stucked account, nor my alt. account. Can someone confirm and can this get fixed? or is the game been taken down?

Good luck on that. Even after proving an account i lost i was mine they threthen to ban me for trying to steal it. Oh and support: i got that account back becuase i got access to it's passcode. Up yours you useless bunch of coconut crabs Only thing you can really do now is bite it and change your password. -

Its weird that what i was hoping thats they were going to do in the new GTA. But i am on the fence about getting it to be honest. After all the horror stories about people being hacked through it. Losing their accounts. hackers dont even have to be logged into the game to kick somebody from the server its so poorly run. I suppose APB does actually have better protection from cheaters then GTA/RDO -

Hey, Ketog from Wave Lounge here, (yep we still exist), it's been a little while since we had some activity, and with the start of the new year i thought i'd add some spice to it myself but with a fun little twist, a contest, but for nerds, what do i mean by that ? Well you're the judge: The Hypermetrics Contest This event is pretty simple and straight forward, it's how we do it at Wave Lounge, the goal you might ask ? right, get the highest possible FPS in APB, that's it, that's the event, yup. All you have to do to win is reach the highest possible FPS in APB with a few rules: 1) You must provide a complete screenshot of your game with performance metrics (any overlay of your choice) 2) You must be in an online district (yes social and fightclub are districts), that means no login screen trickery The rules are subject to change if some player finds a loophole, so we take the right to change the contest's rules to keep it fair, and give the win to the player that actually deserves it. The event will run from the date of which this post is published, up to the 8th January 2024 What can i win and how do i participate ? This event is happening on Citadel, however feel free to participate if you are not on citadel, i just won't be able to provide a prize for you to win. The winner with the highest FPS score will get the following: 1) 1 000 069 APB$ 2) Showstopper 'Thunder' 3) box of Exfluencis© 4) a special Legendary Donut The prize might increase as we get sponsors from other clans and/or donations from players, If you wish to donate to the cash prize, please message me on this forum or on discord @Liarus If you wish to participate, you will have to either join our discord and submit your screenshot in the submissions channel or DM me said submission (@Liarus), for me to take it into account, your submission will then appear on the leaderboard, in case you win, but do not want the prize, you can decide to give it to the best score after you, and if that player also doesn't want it, it goes on until we find a player that wants it. Hello @Darleena, I'm a veteran player since around 2011-2012. Idk him as a person, but if it's a false positive like in 2016 for fairfight, I believe it will be very difficult to reverse, just like it was in 2016. I know how painful it is to have your account banned after years of playing, to see a disunited community that does nothing to help each other. I gave up on this game a while ago and this community with limited thoughts, but I wish you good luck.

One of my old group members had something happen with their account. I don't know if it was accessed by another person or if the server merge missed a ton of items. Most of their vehicles were missing. Another friend didn't sign in for 6 months or so. I saw them online but it wasn't them. The user on that account replied in Portuguese and was grouped with Brazilian players. Confirmed it wasn't them. In both cases, the incident and time reported were too far apart. No logs were available. Useless system if it can't hold login details for at least a year. At work we hold authentication logs for at least 5 years, depending on the data being accessed. Storage is cheaper than losing a lawsuit -

I felt silly so I tried to log in to FE using my old account from back before the original shutdown... it brings me to a different login screen, with an "offline" thing just below the password field. Trying to log in again results in a crash. No surprise that my old account won't work, but is there any way to reset/delete it so I can use that email account to create an account I can use today?

Oh Jim I am very well behaved not a single ban since I created this account in 2011. I mean I don't put unwanted items on my clothing, cars. I don't make multiple accounts just to harass fellow streamers. No configs, no third party software I mean I run a pure vanilla game. i don't be hateful no racism to be found i might curse on occasion but that's not really bad. All my years not a single ban gee I wonder why? maybe I am a model of the community after all.

EAC Unfair ban, I also had an account banned by this EAC, I have honestly been playing since 2013, I have never been banned for using any program, not even when that ridiculous FairFight was banning almost everyone for no reason, this is terrible for an online game, losing veteran players over 10 years due to a serious Anti cheater error, I want my account back, you guys from support have to unban everyone because of this terrible EAC.

i think apb did ammo better too, in gta you have to constantly go around to either a gun store or the menus to buy ammo, but in apb you just... walk up to a kiosk and you get ammo and health too. here you have clotting agent, which i guess is kind of level locked, but health in gta is such a joke. the higher your level, the more health you have, up until like level 200 or so so playing gta as a lowlevel is nearly impossible, while in apb you could make a whole new account and become gold in your first missions from top fragging i'd much rather have dedicated machines for spawning vehicles instead of a mechanic that SOMETIMES delivers your car next to you, anyway
