  1. I got 2, had one banned around 2014 and the other one is my main. I want it cause I‘d like all my chars on one account, if you do not want to merge your two accounts don’t do it, if it comes it will certainly be optional
  2. Lets start first of all by saying this is not some kind of ranting post, but a serious effort to collectively provide critical feedback before going into the next stage of developing APB. Little Orbit has shown to be willing to make changes and fixes to aspects wich were never touched by Gamersfirst and are re-doing things wich haven't gone according to plan. Before the engine upgrade is going live there are quite some (and in cases very critical) aspects wich have been overlooked. I have collected those and combined them from community feedback. Keep in mind that everybody experiences the game in a different way and you might not agree to a small percentage of these changes, but it'll overall greatly improve gameplay experience - So don't just look at this (long) list from your own perspective or disapprove of this fully just because a single item (weapon/grenade or modification type for instance) is something you use and wouldn't like to have changed, leave constructive feedback in that case. I would like to fully update this list more based on community feedback and it would be amazing if we could eventually select the most important things together, by using a poll for instance. - Or maybe Little Orbit could have an updated public thread with a to do list so people don't endlessly keep creating these kind of threads. - I think it would decrease a lot of suggestion threads and reassure motivated players that their feedback has already been taken into account.   3. You people didn't bothered to talk about it when it went on and on for half year. It was all over forums. Now you come complaining about it? Man, fuck you all. I have account of shitton of missions ruined just because I was killed once as bounty. Mainly defense missions which cascaded badly. One thing is defending against opposing team, other defending against whole district - just because FOR ONCE you did good. You are welcome to settle score with me when I'm NOT busy.
  4. Exactly this I've been contemplating posting screenshots of conversations from a very popular APB cheat forum.... Just to show people how active that forum is... it's honestly, almost equally active as this one, and that says a lot with how few players APB has left, that the cheat forum is literally as active as the official one lol. Only reason I didn't post any conversations yet, is not wanting to promote that site... but i suppose i could take some time to remove all links and all identification parts of each image and just leave the conversations they're having.... I bet a LOT of folks would be shocked how there's so many people in this tiny community who has accounts on this forum and has been members for years and years (as many years as APB reloaded exist) Personally, I don't have an account there, probably since I never needed to download any files... any random person can google their site and can freely browse their forum and read their conversations (which is funny, since i assume thats an oversight in their security or they really just plainly don't care). It also shows why they are so tightly knit in this game and you can see a lot of things they got in common when talking about APB and their opinions on cheating lol... I honestly can't imagine what kinda' shitty and boring gaming experience you have provided for yourself, when you're a proud member of a 7y+ account, on a cheating forum for the game you play. Even shooting yourself in the foot, doesn't begin to cover how re*arded you must be really.
  5. Some of the things may have already been mentioned by other community members in separate threads (shoutouts to @AlishaAzure for having probably the most organized post); here's my two cents. The engine upgrade really should have taken priority over RIOT. I respect LO's decision to give us new content despite still being limited by the old engine -- however, I still believe that the best choice would've been making a beeline for UE3.5 and only releasing new content once the foundations are there. That being said, I don't hate RIOT. Though I dislike the battle royale genre in general due to various reasons, I honestly enjoy LO's spin of the formula and I believe that, with enough improvements, RIOT could become a really enjoyable gamemode that I could honestly see myself playing more of once it's out of this beta state. The thing that I enjoy the most is the strategic aspect that RIOT brings to the table. I like the idea of coordinating with my teammates whether we're ready to arm the device in our zone or leave it be for a little bit more. Similarly, I find it fun to quickly determine if I can make good use of the weapons I find or if I should leave them for a teammate. Another thing I enjoy is evaluating what I can allow myself to do with my money (for example, in regards to respawn fees; "will buying my weapon set me back too much to continue?" and all that). This isn't a list of positives and negatives - these are mostly just disorganized ideas and things I want to mention (and which I could remember). The interface feels unintuitive, filled with unnecessary information. Also, for some reason "RIOT DEVICE ARMED" and "Zone Name" are split into two different messages showing up in the center of the screen; they could very well be merged together. The chat also gets filled with [Event] messages VERY quickly (I think picking up just one HazMat suit is two or three lines worth of text?). The whole thing with using zone names would've been better if people knew where each zone is by name. I only know some of the names (I have an idea of where Gresty is, where's Havalynd, The Needles, Border, Merchant Park...) but some of the people I've played with have openly admitted to not knowing what any of these names mean. (Though, who knows, maybe this gamemode could encourage the players to learn the names of the zones?... ) The respawn location algorythm is notorious for not accounting for the actual safety of a respawn zone. If a zone has been armed and is at 2 seconds until the toxic gas is released, it will still be considered safe enough to let you spawn in it - which often results in being put too far away from a safe zone to survive the run there. Insult to injury if the safe zone ceases to be safe at just an unfortunate enough moment to ensure your death in the gas cloud. Speaking of the gas cloud... it's VERY thick. I understand that it's meant to be obvious to the player that the zone is super unsafe, but as it stands, your vision is VERY limited when running out of the cloud, to the point where it's entirely possible to be shot to death by people outside of the cloud, who can see you clearly, but whom you could not even catch a glympse of. This is not helped by the HazMat suit cooldown being so long. In my opinion, changes should be made to the HazMat mechanic - just as a discussion starter: the "mercy HazMat" you get right after respawning should not count towards a cooldown, so if you manage to snag another one, you should be able to pop it right away, and then have the cooldown kick in, to prevent people from sitting the match out in the gas cloud, popping one suit after another. The gamemode likes to crash the game - but that's mostly the issue of the engine, I presume. All the more reason to get UE3.5 out. Minor nitpick: the truck at the end of the match is labelled as "RIOT Evactuation Team" :V EDITED IN: In my opinion, the ability to buy weapons from a Y/N prompt should be removed and only left possible through the fixed points in the district. I think making the weapons purchasable at theoretically any point (both in time and in the game's world) makes it a bit too easy to "smuggle in" the exact weaponry a given player will always feel the most comfortable with. My ultimate opinion is that I can't say the gamemode is perfect, but I don't hate it either. I actually quite enjoy it. ...but if you want my honest opinion: please put the Engine Upgrade as the top priority and come back to improving RIOT once UE is out. We've waited for years for new content, we can wait a bit more. Tidying up the code, unifying all the versions, and fixing the old engine's issues will streamline content creation, maintenance work, releasing updates, and will hopefully improve the performance for those players who can't run the game without stripping its graphics down to the bare essentials.

  7. i'm not opposed to the idea of playing something i wouldn't otherwise for a reward, but why would I grind my patootie off non-stop for a character-bound skin when i can get it later account-bound? i haven't even been able to play riot on NA where all my maxed characters are, so continuing to play on my new eu character would mean that i don't get the skin on the characters i value most, which is just silly to think about.

  12. There're bound to be some trial and errors in alot of areas... I haven't tried out the new patch but it can tell it was very rushed. LO and this community needs to understand that they bought g1 and it's assets with with very little knowledge of many things, i understand they want to hurry things for us to be happy and not lose hope in the game or them..... But i personally would rather them take there time with major stuff like this.... It should at least be a month of otw but i also think they need a dedicated tests team... More or less, SPCT. if they weapons balance is they bad, they should revert the changes, and we should not show hate to people who are at least trying to change the game for the better rather than milking the cow dry.

  14. So, I want to make it clear. On Nekrova I have a character named SouthParkMGT. On Citadel I also have a character named SouthParkMGT. Both are on the same account. Do I have to rename a Nekrova or Citadel character?
  15. 50$ for a reskin of a weapon thats account bound. Don't get me wrong i like spending money on stuff i like but yeah, I'm not gonna pay a triple A price for a reskin. Also account bound clothing when?
  16. Sale still going when g1c cost is reduced? At the moment prices are still ridiculous when buying account bound. Just make them the price character bound weapons are. Wanting to get 3 weapons, looking at the price I need to pay for them holds me off. $65 for three account bound :(.

REMOVE COLORS~!~ MAKE THREAT INVISIBLE!~ HAVE INTERNAL COMPUTER CALCULATE THE ACTUAL HIDDEN THREAT/RANKS AND COMPENSATE LOWER RANKS WHEN VERSUS BETTER RANKED/SKILLED/THREAT PLAYERS... give them small health boost, weapon dmg boost or something... to compensate for their sheer dumb noobiness so they have a TINY chance to KILL someone and have a little fun and not QUIT. ALSO, GIVE A LITTLE ABILITY DECREASE TO HIGHER RANKED/THREAT PLAYERS ONLY WHEN THEY ARE UNFAIRLY MATCHED VERSUS LOWER RANKS?THREATS... THAT WAY THE GOLD GODS GET A LITTLE CHALLENGE AND DON'T QUIT OUT OF BOREDOM SHOOTING DUMB FISH IN A POND. THE ONLY PEOPLE THIS SYSTEM WOULD OFFEND ARE THE GRIEFERS WHO PLAY TO WTF PWN, SMASH, TRASH, HUMILIATE, AND DRIVE OTHERS AWAY FROM THE GAME... AND NEGLIGENCE ON BOTH G1 + LO's PART HAVE ALLOWED THIS TOXIC SHIT CULTURE TO THRIVE AND WRECK THE TRUE JOY OF THIS AWESOME GAME. BACK IN THE DAY... BEFORE THREAT SEGREGATION MADE LOWER THREATS A TARGET AND STARTED THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL... A RANK 10 GOLD WOULD HAVE TO COMPETE AGAINST 5 Bronzes and 2 Silvers (when threats were actually a TRUE reflection of skill)... and SOMETIMES the noobs would win and have a lot of fun... back when there used to be 2 million accounts and the game was still alive. Go back to the more casual fun-times, allow HUMOR in the game so the TOXIC HATRED, RACE-BAITING, ETHNIC TRASHING, HACKUSATING, MURDEROUS TKing, SILVER/BRONZE DUMPING SHENANIGANS CAN FK OFF AND MAKE THE GAME GREAT AGAIN>>> AND FUNNY AGAIN... WHEN IT WASN"T ABOUT KILLING EVERYONE 50x BUT ACTUALLY BEING ON A TEAM THAT HELPED NOOBS BEAT GOLDS. FFS bring back the original RTW threat system, but mask the THREAT COLORS... it worked so much better than the tweaked crap we have now that RUINED this GREAT GAME.

  21. You have zero credibility. The reasons for APB's gradual decline (and yes I was there... and this is my second forum account. I got moderated on the first one and stopped posting for a couple months in disgust and then forgot the login and made this one. I actually started playing when APB opened on Steam Dec of 2012, by no means was I an RTW veteran, but the best years of APB included playing with the talented and skilled RTW vet crowd). Regardless... among the multifactorial causes of APB's decline are precisely those things you deny... and do not know JACK -F'ING- SHIT about. I couldn't give a rat's turd how many accounts you made since 2017. You aren't entitled to an opinion because you do not know how the game has changed, how it declined, or what those factors were that actually hurt it severely... Merged. In an ideal world this would work... all the snowflakes could join hands in social and sing kumbaya... but in the real world, Language and Country are kinship ties and the Brs and Rus will stick together to destroy the fun of non-Brs and non-Rus, regardless of team. When I played on Nekrova and didn't speak Russian or write in Cyrillic, no one cut me any slack... and often I would get TK'd into quitting. Today, a lot of the hate is caused by the anti-American insults blasted in chat or whispers by the Brs... I do not know what the Rus are even saying. We also have hardcore knit groups of Turks and, used to be Germans. Among other things, they stick together against all else... whereas Americans... composed of, you know, people whose background probably includes those ethnicities or close neighbors... are the ones who get shafted,,, and then blamed for intolerance... what a croc of shi=t. Segregation by Country worked because it prevented "in-groups" from sabotaging the fun of the majority playerbase hardcore to dominate the game for "their ethnic loyalties." Merged. That's not even possible when the population has shrunk so dramatically that all we have left is a concentrated soundbite of the most bitter folks who still bother to play. How could it logically be the same when there used to be full districts and your matches were very rarely with the same toxic guys? Now, of course... you play the same guys over and over and over... because there's no one left in the matchmaking pool.... except the old farts who pissed in it. Merged. Who cares if it's using the same backend system, G1 tweaked and changed it multiple times... and always with unforeseen results and more bugs... and the system gradually became more and more unbalanced and more and more broken. The game today is radically NOT the same as when I started. The scoring system changed, and you could lose more threat more quickly. What this means is that a Gold 10 in a district could afford to fight a few losing matches against an army of bronzies without losing significant threat... so there was no real impetous to WTFpwn them all. Once the system was tweaked to a certain point then missions started to be more hardcore... bronzies/greens/Trainees started getting trashed/shamed/ TK'd until they quit so they put in the system where they needed a demerit... which just meant they were baited into leaving the match after being tricked into a TK, like a gold running in front of their car. Nowadays full groups of golds do the same thing to silvers... because they cannot afford the inefficiency... but when I started playing the scoring system wasn't so aggressive... and consequently... while their have always been highly competitive and aggressive clans... the majority of the population tended to be more chill... it didn't affect them if they lost a few matches while the trainee naded himself trying to open the door. A lot of things changed over time. The matchmaking/threat and scoring system changed an absurd amount of times... because G1 could never get it right... and every change they made had a more negative consequence... like when Threat Segregation rolled out... and all the Golds went to the Bronze districts to roll the noobs... then they were locked to Golds and Golds couldn't even play for want of a gold district. But you know all this... you just like to argue nonsense in an effort to be edgy and "right" despite being honest about the actual alterations to the original game that put APB on Life Support. G1 was incompetent. It didn't help that the RTW staff wandered off to make a failed MMO.
  22. Why do not you transfer the things that were purchased on ru armas? just transfer the entire character from the Necrova, and all the items that are on this account?
  23. Hi all, As a small follow up, here is where we stand: I have received a single email last week from Innova saying they had been on a break and missed my earlier inquiries. In that email, they did say that all data was provided. I have repeated my request for the purchase history, which was not provided to G1 during the transition. The ARMAS pricing at Innova was very volitile towards the end, and it’s impossible to know which players paid full price, got a discount, or got the item for free. I am hoping to obtain the account payment history so that we can grant some sort of G1C credit based on actual payments made by these players. This payment history is missing from all data we have.   25. Hard pass. That's not "raw effectiveness" or "optimal range" that's 'raw numbers' on just a fraction of what needs to be taken into account. You conveniently left out things like accuracy radius, recovery and other modifiers which will leave everything in the dust behind the N-TECs 'real effectiveness'. Also you can't just drop the ttk. Yes, they won't hit their perfect ttks but that goes for every gun (also in reality N-TEC will be the one to hit it most consistently again). Putting things like the FAR on same max optimal range speaks volumes about the credibility of this breakdown.
