M8, I dont even get up until like 8-10AM depending on what day it is. Even then, if I still played APB I probably wouldnt hop on until like 2-3PM. Theres just nothing to do now, nothing new.

Baylan is full of them because that gun is super easy to get the hang of. I had a harder time learning the Carbine than learning the CR762. Took me all of 2-3 days to get the hang and be decent with it. Took me longer to find what mods I wanted to use on it.

From what I saw during some illegitimate-program videos a few odd years back, leaning doesn't change the hitbox size, or shape, it just nudges a little to either direction. From what I remember, if someone is leaning out of a corner, the hitbox just nudges out the same way as if their entire body shifted in that direction. The angle of lean isn't sufficient enough to change the size of the hitbox AFAIK. I could be entirely wrong however, but thats what I can remember.

Here's how to counter that: 1) Get a decent driver 2)ALIG tapfire. OSMAW may have range and explosive power, but its easy to dodge considering the ALIG projectile is obviously faster. 3) Apply previous 2 points and get good.

This has been I problem since before I even started playing APB. With the rate LO is taking to do the engine upgrade, I can't imagine this being addressed anywhere in the next YEAR at least. 2019 is already half over and the population is dwindling as it has been. https://steamcharts.com/app/113400#All May 2018, ~2000 peak players. If this, along with the myriad of other major issues plaguing this game aren't addressed within the next few months, APB will likely face its final death throes before it's shut down for good.

Ive never heard of such a thing, but if it does exist it might just be a method of preventing you from going into the red and not being able to pay an overdraft fee or something along those lines.

Buff other cars. That's been asked for so fucking long. The Vegas is the pinnacle of the late/end-game cars. The Jericho, Bishada/Kissaki, and Growl should all be on-par with the Vegas/4x4. Even the lower tier cars like the T-25 need a buff.

As it stands right now, I can see this as the only viable option. Granted it was a good way to learn the inner workings of APB, but it's just not something the community wanted. Nor was it polished enough on release. Jericho could hardly even play it as it was. I think of this as like a student project. Everyone's going to see it, everyone's going to try it and critique it, but nobody is going to play it afterwards. For now, I say put RIOT on a side burner. Work on it if you've got free time or assets, mold and mesh it into something good using suggestions and feedback on development from the community. For now, focus on the Engine Update. I think I can safely say thats the only chance APB has of retaining its current playerbase and bringing in old/new players again. I mean I haven't even played since a couple months before the RIOT update just because of what I've seen from development and user reviews after it released. Im only here to watch and see where it goes. Id definitely play again if the Engine Update released though, no matter what people said. That and Marketing, but that has to wait until after.

Yup, thats why I did. Either scrap the gamemode cause it's utter shit as it is, or make it into a viable TurfWar mode. Planetside 2 is still fun and well active after all these years, even after SOE died and became DBG. TurfWar could actually be fun. An enduring conflict mission that requires users to actually use strategy and shit.

I mean, it's not like you have to be a financial/strategical genius to figure out implementing a BR mode into a game when your small remaining community actively voiced that it *DIDNT* want it would turn out to be a complete utter flop and just generate more dislike for the company.

No, and I doubt I could become one (kinda shit at math), but I do like keeping everything based on science and logic rather than the cumulative emotional distress of a tiny and specific group of people. Honestly not unlike some of the community relating to APB lol

TBH when I first heard about RIOT, thats what I thought it was. Some over-glorified extended event. Then they said it was a new gamemode. I was like "ehhhh not sure how well that'll pan out". Then the community responded with mass backlash and Im just waiting for it to release and have abysmal player counts and reviews.

Yup, DDOS'ing on Jericho is nearly constant now. When it's not getting DDOS'd its just lagging like normal. Figured LO wouldve done something by now, not just turn mitigation on and not resolve the problem. I find it hard to believe someone actually is taking the time to work around LO's claimed countermeasures, they likely havent actually put any in place.
