  1. APB does need high single thread performance, but it also needs more than 1 core. It uses at minimum 3 cores. You can see this in task manager. 2 threads are normally near max and then there's a bunch of other threads running on the rest of the cores. Any +3.5GHzx Intel quad core from the last 8 years will run APB at 60fps or better. A 1st i7 will run APB over 100fps with a +4GHz overclock if don't mind tinkering. This does mean that APB will run poorly on Geforce now. It uses server hardware with low clock speed, high core count CPUs.
  2. With the higher hard damage it was an AV weapon that can put pressure on players. Without those AV capabilities, there's no point in using it when the other rifles do a better job at killing players and vehicles. Choosing it now would be like choosing the stock star over the N-tec or Far. It kills slower and blooms more, why use it?
  3. CR762 and OBIR/FFA are my go to weapons atm. No reason to use the N-ISSR series. The CR762 kills faster, and the OBIR/FFA functions better as a support weapon with the extra overdamage.
  4. I voted no. The audience isn't there, You still need a stable internet connection with low latency to the servers. That eliminates mobile connections and most public locations. Even with good connection, winning gun fights will be near impossible with over 100ms input lag. On top of it you have account for server latency. Depending on your location, geforce now servers, and APB servers, you can have higher latency than most weapons minimum ttk. The most you can do reliably is mess around in the editor, which you can do on most modern low end computers. This was asked 2 years ago. Currently, APB is still not in a stable state. I doubt there will be a stable enough version for geforce now in the next 2 years. Also, hardware will continue to get faster, and current hardware will be cheaper on the used market. People will have access to affordable hardware, but internet latency is not going to improve, because we can't send data faster than the speed of light.
  5. I too want seconds of input lag when moving my mouse.
  6. I was not missing because I was getting red hitmarkers. This means medspray is buggy.

    TRADE LOCK

Maybe the VPN is giving you a random IP address each time you connect. This may be triggering the trade lock.
  8. Do you continuously heal after using med spray, even if you take damage? I've had a few players take multiple mags to kill after they used med spray.
  9. It's about 160ms in the current log and the logs from last patch. Maybe 5ms faster on average, but not enough to notice in game.
  10. No difference in the garbage collection stutters. VIP missions seem to use the wrong kill count. It defaults to the lower kill count, even if the mission started with 3v3 or more players. Glad the death themes can be disabled. No more needing to modify the files to get rid of them.
  11. I wish I could kick players who team kill you because you're trying to complete the objective in an unopposed mission.
  12. I noticed this too. I had a few VIP missions that started as 3v3 and 4v4, but were limited to 2v2 VIP kill counts.
  13. The jump shooting is useful for shooting over high walls, but otherwise it's a gimmick.
  14. I usually burst fire like: 1 2 3, pause, 1 2 3, pause, 1 2 3, pause. This keeps the bloom on the low side of the bloom curve.
  15. Looking forward to not needing to delete the instruments folder every time APB updates.
  16. The ISSR-B feels like it's not meant to kill players or vehicles. It's like the STAR of the rifles. It doesn't excel in anything. Upping the the hard damage to 65 sounds good. I'm not sure how I feel about not being able to use it out of a vehicle's window, but that's because car surfer exists. That mod is basically an exploit that allows you to use restricted weapons from a moving vehicle. There needs to be an alternative for low rank players. The Dogear's minimum ttk is higher than the OSCAR, and it has so much bloom you can't min ttk in most situations. Have you used either of these weapons?
  17. Reading on Reddit and other game forums it's usually the user's antivirus + that anticheat that causes the stutter. In all seriousness though idk how xigncode does not violate EU privacy laws.
  18. The ISSR-B needs that stupid bloom curve removed.
  19. I have a GTX 1080. I updated the graphics driver to the latest (451.67) and it caused my GPU's memory clock to be stuck at the slowest speed. I reverted back to the previous driver and it went back to normal. Maybe the same is happening for you.
  20. Did you have the tattoos when you first made the outfit? You can also try clearing the outfit slot and only applying the needed clothing items. This will clear out your underwear and switch it to default, giving you a little more room.
  21. Check system temperatures with HWInfo or HWMonitor. Also, check GPU core and memory clocks to make sure they're running at their highest speed while in game. APB uses less GPU power than other games. Often, GPUs will down clock and lower your fps when not at 100% load. For me, driver version 451.67 locks my GPU memory to it's slowest speed. I had to revert to an older version to get it to run at max speed. I also had to modify the registry to get the core to stop down clocking.
  22. It takes 18 shots at long range with the N-TEC 5 to kill a player. With kevlar, it's 23 or 24 shots. You stood in the open long enough to get hit 24 times by an N-TEC 5. It's not the weapon that's the issue here.
  23. Segregation shot APB in the head. Removing it now would be two tapping.
  24. Spray patterns are not skill. It's like saying you're good at Simon says when it's the same color pattern every time. The real skill in CS:GO is coordinating with your team and learning how other players navigate the map.
