I lost 550k once in front of the Wharfside Money Maker Warehouse, right before I was about to do the laundry. I thought I was alone in the district, didn't notice the max rank green Enfo. I know the subject isn't "What is the biggest amount of money you've ever lost?", but letting you know someone was lucky enough to get 550k from an unaware and sleepy ramraider in less than a minute.

I wouldn't say the original poster is being dumb, their biggest fault is they naively acted as any normal and kind person would. I did the same numerous times so far and most likely will keep doing. If someone's ready to sell their integrity for a virtual item online, that's not my loss, it is theirs instead. It's pretty much devastating to see how human values and ethics significantly degraded, one will be punished and even called dumb afterwards, just for being a human as we used to be once. Everyone should come to the forum and ask for a weapon removal they lost a match to, that way we can finally remove all weapons, sit in the Social, dress-up all day and exchange fashion tips. Sounds great to me.

Have no clue what would be the purpose of car hydraulics in the game and in which way it would affect the gameplay if there would be any change to it, but if they ever introduce something like this, it should be Fresno exclusive. Then people would be more jealous of my Fresno, even more than they already are.

One should play with weapons they have fun with, regardless of a weapon performance and popularity. Anyone can play with the meta tier. Personally, I simply love Anubis and Colby Commander.

I blame those weirdos who'd rather spend their summer vacation doing some silly stuff like going to a holiday or to a beach, travel a bit and such, rather than (like every normal person) sit in front of their computer and playing 24/7 a game they secretly hate .

Cheaters were an issue since ever, at least since I started to play this silly game five to six years ago. First off, I'd disagree all cheaters are the same, they cannot fit into a single stereotype or definition, everyone cheats for different reasons, but I can agree on the fact cheating in any way is dishonest, unfair, straightforwardly wrong, even in some cases illegal. What company can or can't do regarding it, I am unsure of, as I am clearly not a savvy in this field, but there are things the community can do. We should stop giving them such importance directly, most cheaters I met are feeding on your anger and frustration, remaining calm and emotionless is often the key. Getting emotionally hijacked has no beneficial effect, quite on the contrary, and it's something cheaters usually enjoy to see. I prefer not to give them that kind of satisfaction, it's just one match, or few, simply ignore them. Granted, without feedback they constantly get, there would be less of them. Ultimately, it makes no sense to come online to have some fun, yet to leave frustrated, one should not let themselves to get too emotional over this issue for their own sake. Also, most players are accusing each other of cheating too much, legitimate and often less experienced players are more tempted to start cheating themselves when all they read on the forum or in district chats is related to cheating, they feel if they do not cheat ("like everyone else") they will surely lose out, which is one of the reasons they periodically grow in numbers . If we stop assuming whoever is better than us must be cheating and accusing publicly each other so often, things may change for the better.

I could add a lot to this subject, but on this forum it would be rather pointless, I'll just say reading OP made me to feel contented to some extent, knowing a few of very competent gamers, and all very experienced with shooters, gave up on the point where I haven't, despite of being completely inexperienced with shooters before APB, as it is my first and the last game of this type.

I ran into a wall too, was a tad tired and dozed off for a few seconds, woke up just to see myself running against the wall. There was no hacker, though. But I feel you, regardless.

You should've called your friend to join you and play APB instead, judging by the links you posted he plays something where all you can do is to fight with furniture and besides, it looks terrible. Most likely he'd have more fun in APB even with the game in the current state.

Nothing to be sorry about, no worries. I should rather excuse myself because I do not know anything about computers, yet I posted in this thread (was for the picture only, obviously). I am sure most people will appreciate what you wrote because for me it's all that techy mumbo-jumbo I will never understand.

As an almost ten years old video-game, it runs best on 10 years old computers.

With a better Anti-Cheat it would be too obvious when we accuse someone of cheating just to cover-up our own incompetence. It's fine as it is now.

If they would remove shooting and driving, it would be an awesome game.

It's not speedhacking, they just have a really fast Internet connection.
