Those are the same people who got sad when their nfases became less effective after pellet-scaling got reverted back, not every opinion is qualitative or worthy of consideration for a proper tournament. Although the APB-community is currently somewhat small, there are WAY more than enough people to participate in a proper tournament that has less-cheese than the usual. This is also a community-made tournament. It is not official & by no means needs to abide by APB's current overall state of balance. Since you have mentioned the snub-only competition, in the same light, those interested in cheese are more than welcome to host PMG-only tournaments for example.. Why did they not do that yet I wonder? Of course, because they KNOW it would be a joke. These kind of people just want to win and walk away, they don't care about having memorable moments or raising the general interest in community-held events. Nobody should cater towards those people as they are the same people who make every day APB boring. Carrying that boredom over to here would also make this tournament not special.

Nicely said, but.. Everyone knows that PMG is cheese and not worthy to watch (alongside few others). That alone is an indisputable fact. It doesn't matter what those who like the weapon may say in attempts to defend it. It is one of the easiest weapons in the game to use if not the easiest of all time. So far, no prize was discussed for the tournament so arguing about that is slightly ahead of time. While yes, striving for "perfect balance" makes things slightly more fair, it is not a requirement to give out prizes. You said it yourself, this is a "player made tournament".. It is not official & definitely needs to be worth watching. Else it'll end up being a mediocre, non-memorable event that is no different from what a regular day in APB looks like. That is why we are all here. At the present time, nobody knows what the tournament will be like hence this poll exists: "what would u like to see if there was a tournament in apb (fan made)". Way to go Captain Obvious. I did not ask for "perfect balance". All I want is to see Participants capable of handling non-braindead weapons and to see worthy moments of respectable game play. 11 out of 31 voting against weapon-sets is only 35% and is enough to make you consider this as the majority are interested to see something concrete. This very thread already contains people asking for a well-organized tournament with proper rules & weapons are no exception. Kindly investigate this or this tournament will just end up being another forgotten one that nobody would care to remember.

Why please those who wish to win a tournament with the easiest weapons there is? This isn't about "perfect balance", this is about getting something worth watching.

I would personally be interested to see brain-dead-weapons not being allowed. There is no achievement in winning with PMG nor that deserves any kind of championship-praise.

It was already proven that PIG + perc is slower than PMG's ttk. Not that it required any proof as the time to initiate a perc-throw is already equal to the PMG's ttk let alone the grenade's travel time on top of that but some people can't read stats.

The chrome skin got indirectly redone (stolen) and upgraded to the Sugar Plum Fairy Weapon Skin. Much easier to obtain, much better looking. It completely overshadows the chrome skin. Shoulda got it when you had the chance if you did not already.

Arresting is a reward for winning up-hill battles with under-powered loadouts. Occasionally rewarding player-excellence with nothing just because farming cop and saviour roles could happen is just forwarding nonsense (more sub-meta weapons from the former and a universal key from the latter that is never needed because freeing arrested criminals is as fast as cuffmate 4 due to half-assed game design). This is just completely uncalled for. On the other hand though, let us disable heat-5 in missions to 'not be unjust' towards PMG and meta-plebs.. FeelsFruitfullMan
