Should the yukon be reverted under one condition?
neophobia replied to virginiavirgin's topic in General Discussion Archive
and that doesn't even matter. there is nothing that forces them to keep that functionality. and it does matter that it was broken and they acknowledged it. for everyone who bought it after you can assume that they are aware of the fact that it does not work as intended and that they'd fix it eventually. for the people before - well probably not. but - although you are acting as if you do, you have no entitlement to having the game/its contents unaltered - imagine what that would lead to. people suing companies because they release dlcs that raise the levelcap and thus making the progress so far less important, essentially nerfing your character in its current state. and if it was as bad as you think it is, what if they just buffed all other weapons to be as broken because you want your yukon unaltered? would that be okay :^) -
Should the yukon be reverted under one condition?
neophobia replied to virginiavirgin's topic in General Discussion Archive
neither did they, try again :^) and no, the yukons absurdly low ttk was not intentional - as even g1 stated (but still didn't fix so they could profit (much like the broken troublemaker even went on sale a few months prior to balancing)) so it was just broken - and we wouldn't want a broken game, do we? it wasn't suddenly that, g1 stated it quite some time ago - but didn't fix it. (see above) -
Better Cop-car-Spawner than Crimes-Car-Spawner WHY????
neophobia replied to TrashCan's topic in General Discussion Archive
kurwa that being said, i'd take poland over usa any time that being said, that might be due to my german heritage and my folks habit of taking poland btt: op, you got it backwards.it might be true that the cop spawner is better - but only when i play crim. when i play enfo, the crim spawner is better. that also makes more sense, since they use the same code. i swear. tested it multiple times, with and - more often - without friends. -
Sorry that it's not the crutch it used to be. You are the one with lack of inteligence (lol) if you dont know how to properly play a nhvr, which i never had major problems with it. They added plenty of ways to play it, use them. That you are bad playing weapons is not the game fault, but yours.

This, Windows 7 is outdated (9 years!) and isn't supported by many major companies (in a year not even by microsoft) anymore. Why would a small one have to. I get the 8/10 have a shitton of telemetry and collect a lot of data so that rises privacy concerns - but that's nothing you couldn't disable. (and if there was "secret" data collection, you bet that would have also been part of/patched into win 7 too) otherwise win 8/10 is superior (except some "features" like the new settings that still require you to use control center occassionally)

Should we give out the Autumn Assault skin?

you? no, not them -
and not enough golds to have a functioning gold server (or max 1 so you'd have to decide between fin/wf) to begin with. golds leave, skill shifts lower, some silvers become gold, suddenly can't play, leave. flawless idea. not to mention that golds cant play with their (new) friends because they'd rather not play against better enemies so they'd either play alone or the golds downrank. doesn't work, was tried before. shambles. also, there are hundreds of post about this. threat segregation, lock districts, you name it. it's easy to do and it's quite dumb to do. more reasonable ideas were to kick/lock people out of bronze (permanently?) after ever reaching gold.

Mentioning cheaters is now censored.
neophobia replied to -KC-'s topic in General Discussion Archive
consider this - mods were not hired to photoshop pictures that violate the terms. and - you could've just done that yourself instead of violated the rules of this forum. (or spent the time learning proper english :^) ) tbf, the recent ones were more positive. sorry to tell you, but this is not something lo made up. there are laws you have to comply with whereas there are laws only the state has to comply with. do you understand that while state authorities might arrest you, you can't just do that? laws have different scopes and fields of applications. your dear first amendment just doesn't apply to non-state-owned companies. and they don't need to comply with it to be allowed to conduct their business. whereas e.g. nazi propaganda etc might lead to a ban in germany. noone here has to care about your first amendment that you only use to whine. -

non-state-owned company doesn't have to do jack about your first amendment -
50fps sounds... okay - but with 300ms you will lag to hell. i used to play like that too and it is virtually impossible to perform on par - you will hate it and people will hate you for lagging around. so your pc is okay-ish, but ye. internet/your location is a big issue. they might host new servers in more places in future (i assume you live neither in US nor EU) so you might be in luck... but right now i couldnt recommend it.

Hey. Event is over. Now it's time to fix your mess.
neophobia replied to Mitne's topic in General Discussion Archive
is a fullquote always needed? no his main point weren't even cheaters lmao -
ye the games i mentioned have/had test servers/clients too, point was that none of them known to me rewarded players with anything but seeing/playing/testing new things early (plus being able to play with more things unlocked or w/e)

An incentive to play the OTW (If it wasn't closed for internal testing) would be good. except dota, csgo, overwatch, stardew valley, starbound... uhh... minecraft...? (not sure abt pubg tbh) i honestly can't think about any "major" game with a "regular pts". only early access/alpha/beta stage games come to my mind. also... a closed otw (open test world) is not an otw xd

this was already officially stated. since only the first place gets the skin, they tried to ask people to not aim for first place that much... wouldn't say this is a good solution though... however, they are probably out of other options atm.

apb relies on single core performance. many notebook cpus (including i7 up to 6th? generation) only have two cores (4 threads) - and the game runs more than fine. you do not need a quadcore to run this game well (especially not an i5). an i3 is perfectly fine, especially the newer generations (as long as it isn't a low end with barely 2GHz) Even if you run couple of background processes like Discord/Steam/TS3 or whatever you want (Ventrilo x Mumble lul). Same for the GPU. No, you don't need a 960, nor a 970. Not even close. A GTX 760/960m is perfectly capable for running the game 80-90FPS/high/FHD You will still get drops with too many particles - that also happens on my 1080 Ti and 2080 Ti though. You can lower the limits and are fine then though. You will also get the drops from garbagecollection and some memory leaks etc - better/worse depending on SSD/HDD, even with an m.2 it's still noticeable - and you shouldn't install APB on an SSD to begin with since it considerably wears it down, more than any other game because of cacheing on it (I think that was the reason...) - RAM disks are a godsent here. So - although you normally don't need more than 4GB RAM for APB (so far!) - since it is a 32bit application and can address 3GB max. However they wanna change to 64bit either way and for a RAM disk you'd want more memory. 8GB is worth it an reasonable these days. There is hardly any reason to go over that considering the other specs listed. Recommending 3000MHz DDR4 when recommeending 1866MHz DDR3 is kinda unreasonable and most CPUs are barely specified for 2400MHz (including latest gen Intel) and you'd need to use XMP (that you didn't mention) tl;dr - any "better" i3 (3rd Gen, 2,4GHz (if there are any in this spec this early))/any Ryzen will do - anything >=760/960m will do - 4GB/8GB w/ RAM disk will do, dw too much abt frequency, 1333MHz should be fine. - SSD is good, HDD + RAM disk is better (for your SSD xd) the performance hits from meltdown and spectre should be negligible for APB (with newer cpus especially) but so are the risks for end users. go for whichever. budget builds with ryzen are much better than buying a "lower end" intel for the same price. edit: of course more memory always can't hurt. since apb should improve graphically and might cache more things in ram/vram, going higher newer can't hurt. 8gb ram and a gpu with 4gb vram should be standard these days. and with those, you should stay futureproof. also sincd you probably dont always want to play apb, a better cpu than an old i3 probably should be your aim too. i5, gtx 960 etc and the specs listed are/were fair and should be aimed for - but far from needing to be recommended

no, you do not get banned for things like that.

choke me, daddy or choke my daddy and punctuation - i guess you'd want an exclamation mark to go with your request

ftfy dont try to make sense out of it

next to the quote button (on your own post) the + button also enables you to multiquote

use what you are comfortable with. em doesnt really make too much sense imo. how many people do you want to kill in one mag? just try hs? it does affect zoom levels etc 3ps is always a straight upgrade. some people love hb or mb on it but i've never really seen any reason. ir and cj work quite well too but it really does come down to personal preference and use. i have found the amg to be quite easy to control so i'm fine with both.

do you ever go into a bank and shout fuck you, you're not getting my money? just wondering. -
most prices are lower than original sales niveau (except for some odd ones...) for joker misery boxes... probably not soon. all we ever got with g1 was "bogo", however, jmbs are already 20% cheaper than they were under g1. as the previous poster said, they said they'd refrain from sales for now. aaaand a christmas sale would probably around christmas. as a reminder, classic christmas days are 24-27.12. (every year!) xd just kidding - sorry, but your guess is as good as anyones - and LO already commented on sales either way.

i guess he'd probably want clientside (to reduce latency when controlling and introduce a whole variety of new issues) or cars that are not driving on ice and flipping over "randomly" and getting stuck under telephones however... very constructive op, yes "ite weird"
