ye, just kick out the website team etc, hire new people (especially all the experts on conversion from ue 3 to 3.5 (to 4) (especially those familiar with apbs custom code (hint: the former group is not very big either))), once you don't need these anymore, dump them, just hire new ones. this is not how hr etc. works. it's not like there has to be a huge investment made to implement a service like this ofc there are more important things than premium subscriptions

unless you get 0 standing to show up on the scoreboard i think you do get progress - and i have yet to get a mission while unpledged with 0 standing when there is still any non-maxed npc in the district. i've only leveled two characters to 255 yet - i've never pledged after my first 100h in apb. my second r255 char that had premium like 99% of my playtime has 19 days of mission district time and was unpledged at all times. (and i didn't play much since r255) it also progressed the last npc with every mission i've done. so either i had mad rng luck - which i honestly doubt - or it does work a different way. i'm not trying to insult you or anything, however i've experienced that differently. do you have a maxed char that was pledged and had premium most of the time by any chance so you could compare playtime? (i have been afk/searching for missions/playing in an already maxed district for a fair share so it might be higher than the minimum. i'm also not a top tier player so i don't get mad amount of kills so progress can definitely be made faster. however, you should be getting way lower playtime if you do lose massive amounts of standing by not pledging)

The pledging stuff is plainly wrong, as long as there is one contact that isn't max in the district you are in, you will earn standing. The opposite is the case: if you forget to unpledge/pledge to another one after maxing it out, you will not advance. So the safer way is to not pledge at all unless you want something specific. (or to track your progress outside of missions without going to the contacts tab) And if you stop advancing, switch to Waterfront if you were on Financial or vice versa.

? is this some assumption or are there any facts that back that up? LO LLC had 5m annual sales prior to acquiring apb. i kinda doubt they will have to rely on not paying their staff in near future and of course they might still be using budgets. do you think they just acquired this game without any prior thought? they knew what they were in for, they most likely have seen the stats before too. there has been no real campaigns to bring players in/back so far. if it was looking supee dire, you'd see signs. there haven't sales every few weeks, there haven't been ads for other games etc and other things unlike from g1 yet. they are working on it, as you can see. it was abt the g1 launcher, not the apb launcher.

which choices are being made that kill the game? fixing systems? adding systems? oris this still about shotguns? there are no reasons why the numbers would be rising rn, there is no advertising done by lo - because there isn't much to advertise yet - there is no new content yet - but they are laying a good base here. should they just bash out unfinished stuff to somehow bring in people that will just see the same old stuff? surely that is gonna work out great. the role of consumers is to consume and fall for marketing fads/hypes these days. and have an occassional uproar about anything that slowly crept into market but that won't change much. complaining and feedback is good but "muh playernumbers" is just nonsense. they are/should be fully aware since this is their product though.

hey, if you'd just read, i did say i realize it is low and i did mention that it is a constant drop however, what you stated is factually wrong. you are definitely one month early and in that time stuff can happen. also albeit not bringing in new players the updates lo does rn are very important though. since only upgrading performance and graphics won't make people say that it's a good and polished experience/game that is worth playing, if it still has the same old flawed systems. however, while this might all help retain new people to some degree, bringing old players back will require new content - and the other updates should help retaining them. trading and matchmaking alone won't bring people in. sadly there is work to be done on every side. and mindlessly complaining - making a wild guess here - probably won't help

how is it so hard to just scroll down on the webpage you are just showing? it was actually lower than this 5/6 months ago, just before lo took over so no, your clickbait title is wrong and it is quite easy to find a point like that. it definitely is low though. idk, lo takeover can't stop the constant drop forever. also there isn't much content coming that would keep people playing. it's not like 90% quit because they got scammed on social through a fake trade or because g1 personally upset/banned them.

presets are nice because you don't need to transfer mods between chars, are easier to obtain than lvl 3 mods for newer players - and there are also those with silencers. some presets are quite questionable though and ye, having some models exclusively for them isn't great. we had this topic couple of times already, please use the searchfunction of the forums

Except that's normal practice. these years, ye. some companies still hand out invites for closed betas via raffles or on application basis or make... well... open betas. but all that doesn't make this less of a normal business practice.

pretty sure they are stackable right now already i do own most weapons permanent so i didn't test it out recently but i had a HoHoHoPGL or whatever it was called leased for 500+ days by stacking the duration (albeit only purchaseable once a day)

That's a carry-over from the Real Time World days. The joke is pretty much self explanatory - you can't see shit so you need a magnifying glass to aim down range well... if you see it like that - sure you'd use hs3 if you were nearsighted... but calling the mod nearsighted instead of "magnifying glass" or - well - hunting sight is a bit odd, especially when it's the other way around in english
