You have to thank the cheating community for getting this blocked. But so far I've seen the same cheaters on NA, so not sure what the point of blocking ninjaripper was. They could have allowed it in social at least. -

My only complaint is Trainees getting placed in missions against max rank golds. But as Lily pointed out, there's not enough players for the matchmaking system to choose from. You get what you get. If it was possible to bring back the tutorial district that would help new players get started without eating 1000s of bullets their first mission. It would also be nice if the weapon stats displayed in game were correct. -
I kinda agree. Medspray bypasses the downside of not running clotting agent, so that one needs to go. Ammo box should probably be an orange mod, since currently you can stack it with the other deployable, Satchel wouldn't be used much if mobile spawner didn't exist. You can occasionally kill players driving, but that's like a once a month thing. Most players spot them and turn out of the way, even if you placed it when out of line of sight. Maybe if it didn't beep it would actually be useful.

First thing I'd do is a password reset, on both APB and your associated Email. If you login with Steam, reset your Steam password too. Someone named "AK" spammed phishing links in one of my Discord servers. Another member clicked it and the next day had to recover their Steam account. If anyone sees someone with a name that starts with or is close to "AK" posting link in Discord, ban them from your Discord server and report them to Discord support.

2900? I can build at least 3 PCs that run APB +120fps with that cash. That's even including getting a GTX 1070/1080 off the inflated used GPU market. Might be worth saving future in game purchases for a better PC. Maybe you'll see just how much better you can play when the game's not constantly stuttering.

It's easier to ghost shot since the christmas patch. Double click with an automatic weapon slightly faster than the weapon's max rate of fire, then continue holding down the fire button. The weapon will shoot client sided, but it will not shoot server sided. Your ammo count stays the same.

Just an fyi if you don't know. Usually the backwards running is caused by two bugs. One bug happens when the player exits a moving vehicle and gets stuck to the door. Their character's position will move with the vehicle, and they will moon walk. If the vehicle flips, the player will look like they're flying. The player themselves won't know they are bugged. Another bug is when the player runs out of ammo and keeps shooting. Their character will face the direction they're aiming and moon walk. You need 0 ammo in the weapon you're holding. It can also be triggered by packet loss if the player has a really bad connection. I think those players should be kicked from the server. It's one thing to have high ping, it's another when the server can't track your position.

You've won a mission reward It's a waste of resources having yellow mods be consumable. You have to track how many people have per character, track every mail attachment, track every transaction purchasing them, blah blah blah. Then there's the problem with new players having limited access to these mods since they're mixed in with mission rewards, and new players don't have millions of $APB saved to be able to purchase them If the yellow mods were the same as the other mods, you could cut out most of the overhead. Most players would only have 1 per character. You could even have them unlocked by default and be non tradeable, so no need to even track how many a character has, and new players have full access. BUT, none of this matters if the servers are less stable than G1's overkill servers.

It counts as a loss. I was making fun of OP since I have never seen them play the mission. They're usually afk but recently they've been team killing. Surprised they haven't been banned yet. I guess intentionally throwing the mission isn't considered griefing.

All of US has packet loss. EU is stable but the latency makes it difficult to play.

It sounds like you're describing the one car bug. The player gets stuck to the car door on your screen. They moonwalk and teleport until the bug fixes itself.

On Innova you received 35 Joker tickers a day. It would be nice to have the same rewards here.

The grenade change doesn't stop grenade spam, it just stops you from resupplying your primary/secondary weapon faster, and makes it take longer to swap grenade, type, and takes longer to prep between missions. Two people can hold down an area by trading grenade throws. And you're kinda right about the higher health vehicles being the problem, but another issue is the delivery vehicles are often the lowest HP vehicles available in game. Blowtorch needed to be fast to repair them. Maybe give those fast chassis fix or more HP.

Here's a few things I would check. These got me trade locked: - Does your public facing IP address change often? - Do you use wifi and have random hardware addresses enabled? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/how-to-use-random-hardware-addresses-in-windows-ac58de34-35fc-31ff-c650-823fc48eb1bc - Does your modem/router assign a random mac address? - Do you use an external hard drive? I've been trade locked for plugging in a new SSD. No changes except the additional SSD.

Even if they wanted to contact LO directly it wouldn't make a difference. LO refuse to look at clips you send them. I've sent them clips off those streamers aim locking, but the view counts haven't increased. LO care more about banning for hurting someone's feelings than banning cheaters. You can aimbot 24/7 and nothing happens, but say something LO deems offensive in /w and you get the ban hammer. A few cheaters were recently banned for harassment when they should have been banned for cheating months ago. Sad cheaters would aimlock and mag dump into the wall you're hiding behind and then rage whisper you when you killed them on the reload.

The problem is they keep adding content while the game is memory limited. Back then we didn't have as many vehicles, kits, weapons, symbols, etc. All that data needs to be loaded into RAM. APB is 32 bit, it can only access 3.5GB of RAM. APB was hitting that limit in RTW. 10 years later with no change to the engine and lots of new content, it's no wonder it has performance issues. What I would like to see added is a performance mode. Something that disables player customization, so you only see the default character, default weapon skins, etc. Have options to turn off blood, muzzle flash, and other non essential details. You can't turn these off with the advanced launcher. That aside, I'm still able to get 100+ fps on a Xeon X5690. 120+ fps with it OC'd over 4GHz. In fightclub though, I barely get 80fps with the HUD on, but get 145fps with the HUD off. This is probably due to Scaleform UI that G1 didn't finish. Some elements use it (fps display) and some don't. You also have countless unnecessary notifications that contribute to the excess UI load, like the player achievements and messages like "you can't deliver a player owned vehicle" while you're in a mission. -
Also, you get $0 for winning if you don't get a kill. Such a garbage event.

IIt's to compensate for the 3rd person camera. The projectile comes out at an angle, towards the object it thinks you're aiming at. You would need to compensate your aim in close quarters otherwise (which would be fine imo). The problem is the area of detecting objects is too big. I would replace it with a single ray trace from your center view. There's no reason for it to fire at an angle when your weapon and crosshair is above the object. You're gonna shoot over it. Besides, I still see players blow themselves up. You can't fix human error. -

There's two blatant cheaters on NA who live stream cheating. Sending LO clips from their stream is pointless. They don't get banned. Besides, their GMs think mouse wheel = macros. I'm not making that up, they said it in game. These are the people investigating reports. No wonder Matt's the only one working on the engine upgrade. https://imgur.com/a/B7Nax9s -
This last maintenance really messed up US West servers. There's more latency than usual. In game shows 80ms, but the /latencytest shows it always over 100ms on the district. The issue is between the district server and the datacenter's gateway. If any of you have an unstable connection to NA west, it's not your internet connection. It's APB's server provider. Here's some tracerts from the /latencytest on NA West. Notice how the DISTRICT_SERVER latency is significantly higher than the last hop. The last hop keeps changing as well. Is this part of the DDoS protection? If so it's causing problems. I removed the first two hops for privacy reasons. Both are under 10ms Time,Entry type,Hop,IP Address,Latency,Status,Message

PR1: - 1.0 max bloom. - 4.0 bloom per shot. - 1.2 bloom recovery between shots PR2: - 1.7 max bloom. - 4.0 bloom per shot. - Max rate of fire: 0.864 bloom recovery between shots - PR1 rate of fire: 1.2 bloom recovery between shots You have 0.5 additional bloom between shots if fired at the same rate, more if shot faster. It's fine if all you're using it for is shooting pioneers at max range. For players and smaller cars I rather have the PR1.
