The biggest problem with skins (and most of the reason you see stuff like in this thread) is because skinning guns wasn't a baseline feature of the game. It was implemented after overwhelming community request, but like most things Gamersfirst/Reloaded did it was implemented in a half-arsed way. The result is that most guns aren't designed with skins in mind, or only as an afterthought. The easiest way to tell the difference is to apply the Otome Neko skin to a gun. The OBIR is pretty much the epitome of a gun that skins correctly. Every skin in the game applies to its highest quality to this gun, with no exceptions that I've encountered. Notice how the Otome Neko skin on it only has one instance of the mascot head, one instance of the text decal, and has the colored sections in all the right places (barrel, grip, and stock are black). If there was just one change I'd make here, it would be the magazine also being black. My FFA 5.56 R&D III also skins correctly... however notice that it doesn't do so without error. Far too much pink weight. The grip would look wrong black in this case, but the rail would be the proper replacement. The barrel is also coated with pink, when it should just be straight black. Instead of the stock being black, the shoulder pad is. There's also no white accents. This was a gun created and introduced later on in the game's life, and it shows with this poor attention to detail in modeling. Lastly, we have the gun line that is infamous for having the worst skinning in the game. Notice how the Otome Neko mascot head appears more than once (dead giveaway that the gun isn't skinning correctly), and the lack of the text decal at all. This gun doesn't skin correctly with 99% of the skins in the game. Ultimately, the point is that this isn't something they can fix easily. They'll have to completely rework the skins, gun models, etc. In an ideal world, they'd make an individual application of each skin on each gun, so that every gun had the skin effectively custom tailored to that gun's unique designs... but obviously that'll never happen, because that would require insane dev workload. Even AAA dev houses would struggle with that.

It's not like the hitreg issues were a consistent thing in the first place, you'll have to give it more than a day or two. I'll just be glad if I never see another instance of emptying a full M-1922 clip into an unmoving target at point blank range, of which precisely zero of those fifty shots register (this actually happened to me back before the first round of hitreg fixes were pushed live).

Ammo box on its own cannot kill a player from full health, to clarify.

Completely pointless, tedious, and irrelevant busywork is not content. Period, full stop. They need to fix the actual bug (resupply on respawn not actually deducting money as it should), instead of further breaking it by removing it entirely.

It's basically just a slightly modified Financial. Not worth the cost, both in dev time and playerbase splitting (not that what little playerbase we have could even sustain such a split).

The good PR this would generate (especially since the game's under new ownership, start off strong on the right foot and all that) would be a significant positive for the game. Even if it didn't directly bring people back, it would put the game on the radar of many, which makes it easier to bring those people back later. As crazy as it sounds, development teams are comprised of many people that have different skillsets. In this case the art devs, who are probably twiddling their thumbs for the most part since the engine upgrade is mostly the realm of the code devs. Making this thread's proposition a reality would push back other new art assets, not core features relevant to the game's rebirth.

I'd buy as many of them as I am able to. Help a good cause, and add more unique stuff to my ever-growing locker collection. Win/win at its most positive and finest state.

Colby CSG-20 PR1 (uesless) please revamp @Matt

Open slot everything is the dream. -
All the AMG needs is the same movement penalty as the ALIG and SHAW. As you state, it's basically a slightly superior SHAW. Nerfing the absurd mobility it has would bring it in line. ALIG's effective range is 70m, you aren't doing full damage at 75m.

As a frequent user of the Frenzy (it's basically my favorite standard assault rifle), I can with 100% confidence say there's nothing wrong with it. Whatever issues you're having are on your end.

I'd care more if the rare activities had a spawn rate higher than maybe once in a person's lifetime.

What kind of idiotic decision is that? "Yea guys, let's host this event on the thing that only a tiny fraction of a fraction of the playerbase even has access to or cares about!" -
Most of that info is incorrect, Beastie seems to have misunderstood what MattScott needed for the blog post.

Both mentions were met with multiple upvotes, so clearly not the only one who feels it would be a good idea. The loyalty JMB can only result in the numbered legendaries, you'll never see the FFA 5.56 R&D III drop from one. That being said, there's nothing to stop Little Orbit from bringing Power JMB9 back for events or sales in the future. Plus as I mentioned in another post in another thread, even if the FFA 5.56 R&D III was added the loyalty rewards, it would lack key features that the legendary version has, such as the ability to be traded and also obtainable as a free player.

Yea, no. The lack of system tax literally kills the marketplace. Nobody in right mind will use marketplace and suffer a 20% loss when they can simply trade for full value.

Objectively, this game has not been about strategy at any point during it's life under the "Reloaded" moniker. It has always been a low TTK team shooter that features objective-based gameplay, but not strategic gameplay. Deciding whether to throw a grenade or just rush guns blazing isn't strategy, it's just standard twitch shooter gameplay. Strategy requires much more prolonged engagements, that have multiple levels of thought involved and not just snap judgments on the fly. -

That's simply not going to happen without a complete overhaul of the entire system. Hate to break it to you. -
The featured list updates on Tuesday and Saturday. Hasn't shown itself to be a proper rotation yet, but there's also a lot of content it has to make its way through first. @CookiePuss @Uru! @Tosei

When will be the next sale on G1C or in market place ?!!!
Hexerin replied to ahmed's topic in General Discussion Archive
Sure hope they don't put a sale up, would hate to have to submit more tickets for price adjustments when they're already overburdened with ticket volume. Not to mention that MattScott specifically stated there wouldn't be any sales until after the ARMAS rework. -
Since they aren't making it a limited thing, it makes me question the point of only enabling it for one day of the week. Extra work for no purpose or gain, might as well just turn it on and leave it. @Lixil Care to enlighten?

You'd be better off getting the Key to the City Pack, so that you get those unlocked on every character you ever create. Also pretty much the best value purchase on ARMAS in general.

Yes, please do. I'll enjoy getting easy kills on you in most fights. Incoming downvotes from people who can't aim. -
So the JMBs make rounds on the featured list of ARMAS...
Hexerin replied to Hexerin's topic in General Discussion Archive
They clearly aren't going to be removed, so the best we can hope for is improvements to the odds in the consumer's favor. Suggesting it be tied to the featured list rotation is the highest potential to see it actually be a thing, although I'd be legitimately surprised if they actually did make it a thing. A company that's willing to maintain gacha boxes isn't a company that cares about their customers.
