  5. Imagine how many issues this game suffers would be solved if it was hosted on actual servers instead of a 1990s IBM laptop in the break room of the office.

  7. It's a pointless game mode that had no business being made. It's taken dev time away from more important things, like Engine Upgrade™ and content for the actual game. Same as Fight Club, which GamersFirst/Reloaded pushed out in a similarly broken state and then (mostly) fixed up over multiple years. Imagine where we'd be with this game if the devs would just prioritize the things that actually matter...
  8. Are you going to listen to the playerbase's feedback from that thread? You ignored your testers and pushed the currently broken gamemode live anyways, so it doesn't give high hopes.

    "Let's add a new map!" Yes, let's split up the already fractured and tiny playerbase even more. Ignoring the fact that NA can barely fill a single mission district during prime time as it is.

  11. Ultimately the poll doesn't matter, as MattScott has made it perfectly clear that he has no interest in listening to the players (in either direction) on this one. As I've said in multiple other threads on the subject, I'd rather it stay. Shakes up the gameplay, makes it so you don't always know exactly what you're going against.
  12. Sucks that this'll be removed for normal missions. Adds a layer of unknown to the otherwise almost completely static gameplay.
  13. You aren't going to fix that by adjusting the suit. That requires them to fix spawning itself. I'm specifically talking about using the suit for the purposes of getting from one safe zone to another while alive in the first place. Far too often the way the match plays out leaves you in a random safe zone with an arming gasser, with the nearest next safe zone multiple zones away... making it either impossible to escape to safety, or leaving you borderline dead and just getting picked off by some random person the moment you step out of the gas.
  14. Add a second stage to gas zones that cause them to damage you through your suit. Just one example of how that could be dealt with.

  16. I'd go with the option that isn't there. Increase cooldown to 60 seconds, remove duration, have it immediately fall off when you leave the gas zone. Also to go with this, convert consumables into yellow mods (and adjust their balance accordingly).
  17. With the release of RIOT mode, we see that followcams are totally functional in this game. Adding deathcam would be entirely reasonable to expect as a new feature due to this.
  18. Needs a lot of work, but it does actually have potential to be a fun side mode for the occasional distraction from normal mission gameplay.

    LtL Conversion Mod

    There's literally no reason to have the reduced damage. Slotting the mod in instantly makes your gun incapable of killing anything anyways, and after getting the stun you still have to run over and actually arrest the person (which takes a significant amount of time, while putting you in the open and vulnerable to enemy retaliation). People who complain about getting stunned should be ignored and laughed at. They're whingeing because they got slapped by an exceptionally inferior weapon type and want to try and push this incredibly hilarious idea that less than lethal weapons are overpowered on some level. News flash: Less than lethal gameplay is undertuned to an exceptionally high degree. Anyone who's stunning and arresting you, would be completely mopping the floor with you without even breaking a sweat if they swapped over to lethal. Like this isn't even debatable, it's objective fact. Having the mod simply swap a gun's health and stamina damage values would be perfectly balanced, with only a few edge cases being problematic (your concern about HVR is valid, but it isn't as bad as you're making it seem to yourself... and ultimately it's just because HVR is an overtuned gun in the first place more than anything). Those edge cases could be smoothed out with sub-effects on the mod similarly to how Cooling Jacket has a different effect on shotgun type weapons. All that being said, I fully support this mod being a reality. I've also suggested it many times in the past. I still constantly pull out my Stabba to this day, despite maxing the Cop role four times now. Having more variety would just make it all the better whenever I get the itch to arrest some peeps.
  21. It should really spawn you in with a primary weapon, because you simply don't stand a chance against someone who has one. That, or just have death be GG. You die, you get your rewards and can move on to the next match lobby.
