  1. there’s been an apology for rushing the initial patch through testing, a partial revert of half the patch (ir3 changes), and new changes being tested on the test districts that’s it, afaik
  2. at this point it really seems like they’re just leaving things as is because they can, there’s really no excuse for ignoring the incredibly rare occasions when the entire vocal community agrees on something

    probably not a good idea while the game is in its current state it’d likely be on a way smaller scale, but look at how wasted the steam release of apb was under g1

  5. to be fair, there has been a lot of “high profile” cheating in apb and in this case, orbit is aware they made a mistake - they even apologized for it - but they haven’t reverted the mistake its obviously possible given that they changed ir3 values immediately, they just haven’t, and the lack of any explanation is like gasoline on a fire to a post-g1 community

  9. i guess if there was no red crosshair a min height character could more successfully hide behind crouch cover whereas someone with aimbot/wallhacks would see them regardless, further widening the gap between legitimate players and cheaters kind of flimsy tho

    i see far more blowtorch/remote det setups now than field supplier, seeing as field supplier is already inherently worse than the resupply box consumable i doubt anyone would use mobile supply unit tho

    Final stages, why?

    that’s no different from normal tho for example let’s say team a is attacking and team be is defending stage 1 - team a successfully breaks into obj stage 2 - team a successfully burns a vehicle obj stage 3 - team a successfully raids an objective stage 4 (final) - team b successfully defends their vip and wins the mission vs stage 1 - team a successfully breaks into obj stage 2 - team a successfully burns a vehicle obj stage 3 - team b successfully defends a raid obj and wins the mission theres no difference between the two versions except one mission is shorter due to less stages, the attack/defend mission structure is inherently inbalanced and removing final stages won’t do anything to affect that
