player volunteer GMs don’t have any ingame powers iirc, but there are little orbit staff GMs who are actual GMs - powers and all

i’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic, as these are some of the first things orbit has done rather than focus on core issues arguably, core issues may or may not be fixable until the engine upgrade and they are full steam ahead on that, but it doesn’t change the fact that the player base still has to deal with this stuff right now i’m not sure if it’s still in use, but vivox in r6 siege was crystal clear and didn’t seem to have any crazy usage issues as with most stuff i’d guess it’s just another symptom of the mess that is APBs custom/ue3 engine mishmash

as much as i think this event was a failure (fixed schedule, poor - if any - testing, and bad management of these failures), i truly don’t understand the strange need for everyone to “win” - don’t remember anyone caring when the same person “won” the kill-the-ceo event multiple times a few months back

pls ban for advertisement really tho most of the issues you’ve outlined boil down to a serious lack of consistency, which is a horrible thing to base a pvp game around inconsistency takes control away from players and reduces, sometimes even negates, player skill - laughable in a game that relies entirely on both

i think its a straight upgrade, albeit a super minor one not like you need the zoom with APBs 100m draw distance, and having a wider fov while in marksmanship makes closer ranged combat easier if only the gun wasnt ugly and didnt sound terrible

its just an almost-reskin of the obir (identical stats, except for slightly less zoom in marksmanship mode)

there are far more reasons for GM presence than reporting possible cheating yet again arguing about the validity of a single symptom
