perhaps in the bronze or silver districts where you normally play there were no cheaters but that wasnt the case in gold districts, the cheaters and the lack of opposition during the threat lock period are what started the real dethreating craze in the first place the optimal solution to this would be the use of phasing for matchmaking purposes, as then it truly wont matter what district anyone is in - but until thats implemented theres not really any other option but to bear with things

there's no easy fix for this, as the thousands of other threads over the years on this subject have illustrated

i think i'd also prefer if the beanie and the vr headset were separate items

it’s an incredibly easy gun to use albeit with a very low skill ceiling, with essentially no recoil and no spread (and it even has a cool silencer!!!!!1!!1!) i can see how it would appeal to lower skilled players

sure right now it might be possible to dedicate a specific gm per district, but what happens if/when the pop increases? how many GMs can orbit afford to allocate specifically? 2? 4? 6? what happens when there’s no easily identifiable cheaters? does the gm leave? does he stay “just in case”?

tl;dr edit for non-meme response: orbit has stated several times that they are working on implementing their own server side anticheat measures beyond that, i honestly don’t think there’s much else that can be done - GMs being more aggressive following up reports only works if there aren’t hundreds or thousands of reports popping up every day perhaps it’s feasible for fight club but that would require dedicating at least one GM per fc district to run down the dozens of reports that come up per hour
