Big taboo question here. I know it's going to be like pulling teeth for those of you who have been using macros and crosshairs as a closet crutch for years. When will we finally address such the gross manipulation of the games mechanics in regards to macros and crosshairs? Over the years, there has certainly been a big stink - but no real resolutions have been made to address it in a serious manner. As a returning player, this has certainly been a recurring issue that is wearing my interest.
Battleye and his good deeds.
zMax posted a topic in Social District (General Discussion)I still don't understand why LO n changes anti cheating again because I see old cheaters using cheats again, I see Battleye banning people randomly without even using third-party programs I hope LO solves these problems with anti cheating
As mattscott said once before that it is hard to tell who is cheating and who isn't in Apb specifically, most of the inexperienced unaffected players seem to be happy with those recent bans and congratulating LO for their great work when it actually is a complete madness of them to do that so unprofessionally. Let me tell you that so many people got falsely banned So back to the main question, do you think falsely banned players will simply reroll and start it all over again and invest more money and time in that game after years of growing their accounts just simply because of some GMs who seem like they they do not know what they are doing? In my opinion i see that the decision of making this ban wave a thing made alot of players distrust LO even more than they already do, sadly. This was supposed to be something important that needed to be revised 1000 times to make it flawless by banning the real cheaters only. If you got falsely banned keep your story for the support team, Lets just wait and see what will they do
Battle Eye Blocked Content
NatTurner posted a topic in Social District (General Discussion)Hello APB community and moderation team, I have a question regarding blocked processes and battle eye messages. I'm sure many of us will also have similar questions. What is the best way to address them? Personally, I use an application called Prio Found here It's a small application that fixes a minor annoyance in the Windows OS that came about with the advent of Windows 7. It basically automatically sets the CPU priority for an application. From the website: When I upgraded my PC and added a new graphics card and faster processor APB was subjected to constant crashes. I found that for whatever reason the OS was not lending the appropriate resources to APBprogram so I have to manually set the CPU priority to High or Realtime in order to prevent crashes. I am one case and I'm sure there are many others that have done what it takes to continue to play the game we love. I am a clean player and have never been banned for anything across my MANY, MANY, MANY accounts. I love this game. I don't want to login and get beat on for using an application that made APB playable for me Please advise!
