get rid of the recoil curve reduce movement penalties to nssw/euryale levels pick a weapon class - either make the irs identical to the coroner and move both into the rifle category or make the coroner identical to the irs and move both into the sniper category, otherwise we’ll always have an issr-a/issr-b situation where one variant completely replaces the other depending on which weapon class is chosen, damage (and range) can be altered: -if snipers then damage should remain the same, hard damage should also remain the same -if rifles then damage should be increased to 400 but range should be lowered to keep effective range primarily the same, hard damage should remain the same or be buffed slightly to further push the sbsr into an av niche within the rifle class

considering the slated balance changes are most likely a result of the remaining community complaining i’m not really sure your point holds up it’s also not just you, the forum is dying because the game is dying; visible development is stagnant and the population continues to circle the drain - can’t say it’s a surprise really, and it’s only going to continue to get worse until the engine upgrade is playable

im pretty sure you couldnt use an osmaw out of vehicle windows in rtw or early g1 otherwise the jump out insta-fire mechanic wouldnt have become popular, but i could be wrong as i didnt play rtw but there was a decent time frame under g1 where a blowtorch bug allowed the use of heavy weapons from vehicle windows, iirc it was several months

the easy way to prevent this is to not run through 60m+ of empty space, the game features vehicles for a reason depending on positioning, throw nades at the corner while you run away otherwise trying to out-ttk them, with or without shield consumable, is ur only option

dont run in the open in the first place shield consumable shoot back stop getting flanked prenade prenade/opgl shouldnt happen, start using field supplier/ammo box consumables/vehicle resupply crash into them and remote det cut ahead and use av give up because chasing runners is annoying

afaik a lot of the contact clothing isn’t really built the same as the player character clothing so they would probably have to be rebuilt im always up for more customization options tho

nothing wrong with playing competitive imo plus people will always scum it up for the ego boost scoreboards regardless of visual threat i think its more important to give players a concrete goal to work for skill wise whether it be leaderboards, threat levels, even something only visible to themselves

i think cross platform play is up to sony/microsoft to decide on additionally we’ve been told that g1 sold the console publishing rights to deep silver, so thats another hand in the mix

personally glad they got rid of this tbh, getting ttk’d by any fast firing weapon and listening to your character go thru every single voice sample in half a second was irritating as hell
