Defibrillator Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 (edited) Top speed of vegas g20 without nitrous is 23m/s which is approx. 82 km/hr. Nitrous 3 gives u +3m/s for 5secs. Max distance the objective can be is 1000m. It takes you 42secs without the nitrous and 39secs without the nitrous, excluding shortcuts. Mission time is usually 4 mins on minimum. If more the distance between u and ur objective and if u're the only player, they time will increase for sure. Use vegas for 20secs. If u feel u're slow equip fragile and use epinepherine spray. BlatMan Posted June 18, 2018 Posted June 18, 2018 The lower tier vehicles need better acceleration and about 1M/s increase in top speed to balance them during vehicle delivery missions. Otherwise I don't see an issue with vehicle speed. 1
Dopefish Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 I believe RTW had something close to this, but vehicles would drive faster than areas were loading in. I don't know if this would still be an issue on modern computers, or probably not anymore after the engine overhaul. It's a bit ridiculous that the top speed isn't even four times faster than a sprinting player. I also believe that faster vehicles would help against runners, since it would take less time to drive from one end of the district to the other.
vsb Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 i’d like to see all vehicles be able to reach 23m/s top speed without nitro 3, and then balanced with handling, acceleration, etc imo it would promote a far larger variety of vehicles than the current meta of pioneer/espacio, and a smattering of 4x4
