Why is friendly fire still a thing?
Bambola replied to PotatoeGirl's topic in General Discussion Archive
Friendly fire is okay, obnoxious team leaders aren't. -
That is quite a touchy subject for this community.

Perhaps reinstalling the BE could solve the issue, or verifying your game cache? Eventually, rebooting or restarting router/modem and disabling your firewall? I do not think disabling the only anti-cheat we have, regardless of its effectiveness, would be a good idea just in order to solve one isolated case's issue. I am certain our helpful members will, as usual, have some more concrete suggestions.

I cannot clearly remember, but we had Xmas and Halloween events since 2011-2012 (?), not exactly in the current form, but the contacts were there, the events were way more fun and rewarding + there were related custom GM events. Either way, the company had way more resources and a bigger Dev team back then, it was a lot easier to implement some things.

AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution released - VOTE FOR APB

If I have filled the form and added only Sims 4, after clicking "submit" can I do it again? -
That is correct, they have added some new things, yet adding something like new contacts, mechanics, physics and interactions is coding on a whole new level. Hopefully someone who is more versed on the subject will be able to explain in a more clear and concise manner.

My computer knowledge starts and ends with switching my computer on and off so this should be taken with some reservation, in a nutshell, the company cannot introduce any new content or easily make changes to the existing code without previously finishing the (in)famous engine upgrade, that mythological being everyone has been waiting for.

Changing the way you approach some waiting period makes all the difference. Embrace your liminal space!

Pre made groups are killing the game.

Well said, one swallow does not make a spring. Besides, APB is well-known for having one of the kindest, courteous and most charming communities. -
Pre made groups are killing the game.

Playing solo against premade teams is an excellent routine for brick hurling practice. -
I do not suffer from random disconnects, but I do have a tolerance threshold, once players' insolence and impudence passes 75%, I tend to disconnect myself.

A sense of accomplishment, from my point of view, is a feeling we get by accomplishing something we have been working hard for, by completing difficult tasks and overcoming various obstacles, whilst having our success in question. Reaching the goal of being R255 in a week or two just diminishes the said feeling. I do not know why there always has to be some kind of additional incentive to play the game other than having sheer fun. I know, I am a party pooper.

Everyone is "losing" their life and free time doing their jobs, especially if that's something they are passionate about, more so if that brings them good money. Should that be something truly praiseworthy? Most likely yes, particularly nowadays. Either way, it is quite nice to see the community being positive, for a change, expressing its support and giving needed recognition.

Weird things you have seen happen in game.
Bambola replied to Y2Venom's topic in General Discussion Archive
I met a couple of really nice, well-mannered and kind people in San Paro. That's most likely the weirdest thing that happened to me in the game. -
Horses are magnificent and noble animals, I love horses! Tiggs likes this.

Oddly enough, no one said "soon" yet.

Anubis Adeen. Exceptionally enjoyable, decidedly underrated, and most important of all, an unexpected choice.

Snub-nose Cherub, exclusively. It always sparks some creative comments in whispers.

Gun Game Thanks-GM Appreciation Day
Bambola replied to MACKxBOLAN's topic in General Discussion Archive
I am pretty much certain it was on the 4th of March, like every year, but don't let that stop you showing appreciation whenever you feel like doing so. -
As someone who usually plays on low to mid ranks, I can only concur.
