Everything is there - stretched low resolution, custom configs, lowercase name, single person clan, low fi music remix but one simply can't be edgy enough for APB if they are not wearing a black hoodie with a black baseball hat beneath. Edit: Oh, wait...

Is there any in game moderation at all ??
Bambola replied to Y2Venom's topic in General Discussion Archive
At least this thread was a good incentive for one of the game moderators to magically appear in the districts during the weekend. -

An old legend, dating back to 17th century when San Paro was founded, has it that saying moderator's name 3 times in a row makes them appear. -
It should be adjusted, not removed.

One could argue it is almost a good thing there are no active in-game moderators, given how many players are violating the Rules of Conduct in one way or another. If the rules would be *really* enforced with no exceptions, the current, already low population, would suffer by a lot. Also whenever there are some of GMs or TGMs online, the whole district chat gets so obsequious, it is uneasy to read, almost embarrassing. -
There's no disputing matters of taste. Personally none of my characters have any of those two styles, and I have an army of characters. Again, personally, customization for me is everything, from your character physical appearance, clothing and vehicles to skins we use.

The warmhearted community.

I might be wrong, I am not an IT savvy and do not know how to support this claim but I believe there's actually one advantage of having a high latency - you are significantly harder to kill. It happens to me quite often I land 2-3 perfect shots (e.g. with a sniper), get all hit marks but due ghost shots and time difference between me as a low latency player and some high latency player I shot at, they simply do not die. Sometimes it feels like I need way more hits from any weapon to kill certain players. Discussing with them I found out they are always having a high latency which lead me to this, probably arguable conclusion.

I wouldn't wait for the GM, you should contact the Support instead with some evidences of griefing and dethreating. After four weeks of dethreating they are probably green so far, which should be a solid proof. -
Plenty of weapons you can get killed with from 50 or 80 meters with 3 bullets or less.

I find APB graphics on consoles aesthetically unbearable. I sincerely hope PC version will never look anything like that.

I am just trying to connect the poetic phrases, italic font, pink rose and your nickname. And I fail.

I believe the dispute we often have here on the forums regarding this subject is based on two widely differing interpretations of the gold threat.
-
I have never seen a gold player in bronze. Okay, maybe a couple of times, when they were fast-leveling a new altie. Every single "gold" player you can find in bronze is nothing more, nothing less, but a decent silver. Skill wise, they belong there.

Looking for Advanced player tactics in APB

I play as a medic in my team, and doing so I do not have to worry a lot about my aim being great. Maybe you should consider changing your role. The ammo supplier, perhaps? -
As long as you have fun and a good time playing, how good or bad you actually are, doesn't really matter. And yeah, it's a nice gun, although I personally prefer the NFA-9.
-
My FBW still regularly "jams", I simply cannot have a fast, consistent shooting pattern, yet some people can have the minimal TTK even with their monitor off. Practice makes perfect, I guess.

Lovely, I'm glad to hear that!

I agree that this question is account related. I have even created a new account and with the new account, I am playing fine. The game didn't kick me out. Yet with the old account, I had the same problems. I uninstalled anti-cheat, repaired, reinstalled the game several times, after 40 seconds, I would be thrown out and the game would report "Corrupted data". *free translation*

I have been told, the complete removal of BE (deleting it from both %localappdata% and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye, deleting BEService folder via regedit), removing any trace of BE and restarting the computer, before installing the APB game (or repairing), could solve the issue, although I didn't have personally this issue so I can't confirm.
-
As long as you play APB in small amounts on rare occasions, it is still fun. Just like with drugs.
-
Perhaps this link can help you to narrow down the issue. Edit: Or maybe just try to reinstall the BE.

Dead districts, nothing to do...
Bambola replied to NiteOwl2100's topic in General Discussion Archive
On the other hand, on Citadel one spends quite some time before they can join a district given most districts are often full. Once they do, they can spot many familiar character or clan names from Jericho. -
A rhetoric question poses, if one, hypothetically, could even publicly post their proof of someone cheating, would that actually solve anything, or it would rather just turn the forums into another ffbansorg nastiness.
