Hey there! What you guys think about some movement effects for the camera. Currently the camera just follows your character without doing anything. But in my opinion small shake effects can change the quality of the game a littlebit. As example we could have a tiny shake effect for running and a littlebit more shake effect for sprinting. Or if you drive your car and ram other objects there could be a small to heavy shake effect based on your speed and what you actually rammed. Is that maybe something they should look into for UE4? I like this picture of the weapon edit menu ( I don't know if this is just a fake). But what speaks against adding it? It don't look like you able to add own symbols on that weapons. You should be able to change the color of your weapon and choose from a few motives (like basic camo). Those motives could be tradable though marktplace so trading gets extended. Or instead you choose one of the already existing designs: Would be nice if they are tradable too but you shouldn't be able to change the color or anything. Ofc some armas skin would be senseless as example color pack. But this pack could be changed to glowing skins (as example) so its special again.

I would like to see melee weapons. And its great that there are already animations for that. There could be different models like knifes, base ball bats, batons - maybe even tradable versions or simple event rewards. Could be a project after UE4.0... but on other side im not sure how well that works in APB. If everyone jumping around like crazy and things like that...

I don't know how to fix that. But you could use advanced apb launcher to disable the ingame movies (loading screen clips). In the case that you stuck you still should be able to use the chat to /logout. ( So you don't have to restart the whole game)

It is really hard to imagine racing in APB. If you give everyone the same car to make it more fair it would be like that only the person wins who spawns near the startline except he do a big mistake. But to be honest I really would like to see something like racing district one day! Whats about parkour? That might be funny too. I just imagine running and jumping overroofs and trying to reach the finish line first.

Maybe STAR reskin as new reward? With a new weapon model (and different sounds) and a tagger (maybe even a fixed weapon skin) similar to the Love-Gun. That gun could be character lifetime without hurting someone. People who don't like STAR would still buy other contact or ARMAS weapons. In that way they won't give away something totally game changing because you have a lifetime star anyways, but you still get a nice reward. I doubt they will add it this year. But maybe it would be nice for upcoming events.

It's not bad to have rewards like that, still for a lot of people it's impossible to get it. I was thinking about having a extra district - only for people who did not won. Or the whole event should be called as a tournament. But I actually enjoyed the event, even if I was frustrated a lot because the spawn system or my game crashed.

The spawn and zone system was horrible... I also agree that for some people a few weapons was too hard, so it might be a good idea to give everyone a blowtorch next time. And I would like to have more different weapons. We had 5 different kind of gun games but they always had the same weapons. I was actually frustrated alot but I still would say that the event wasn't bad at all. I hope they will improve things. But still I can say thanks for the event!

Hello people! I would like to share another idea for christmas. Whats about having deployable snowmen? It could be a item that you can only use during christmas time. Either it could be a orange modification similar to the display banner: Or it could be a yellow modification similar to the shield: I am not sure if the snowman should get any special feature, so here are a few ideas from no feature till protection similar to the shield: Version 1: No Hitbox You can run through it You can shoot through it Version 2: Hitbox for players You can shoot through it, but also damage the snowman Version 3: Hitbox for player and bullets Similar to the shield but gets destroyed faster Maybe even something totally different? Example Pictures: The main idea behind that suggestion is to have a few more different christmas things instead of only players outfit and snowballs and HOHOPGL. It shouldn't be something totally game changing. If there are any question feel free to ask also I would like to hear your opinions!

Maybe we don't need it. But I would like to have a bit more christmas releated things in san paro beside players outfits. Who don't like to get a gift? That christmas tree would make it even better in my opinion! And I like your idea about adding gifts for friends! On that christmas tree they could work one time and then add it every year again. As I said it's not replacing the main event - it is just a small addition.

We should get deployable snowmans! Like the display banner and just for a limited time as example 7 days as the joker store modifications. There are so much funny small things they could do for christmas.

I really like christmas and so I want to share my suggestion about a christmas tree. Whats about placing a christmas tree in social district? At december 1st the christmas tree could look like this: Everyday there get new things added to the christmas tree until it look like: December the 25th gifts get added: And you will also get a option to interact with the tree/gifts to take a little reward. If you about to recive your reward it could just play a cute christmas sound and the animations of valentine box unboxing: Rewards could be a achievement, title, joker tickets. Or just a christmas releated clothing part. < Example of the location This small "event" could be added every year and has nothing to do with the main event. It just follow us through christmas. Ofc there are so much more possibilities as example interaction with that tree everyday as daily login reward. Or everyone get a local christmas tree he can build up their self. But my main idea was to keep that whole suggestion small and not too complex but still intressting. I really would like to hear everyones opinion about that!

I would like that at least the beacon get a bit of snow on the street and rooftops. And to give everything a bit more atmosphere wind if you stand on roof and walk on snow sounds. Whats about hang some christmas lights around the building? And maybe a little christmas tree! In my opinion all that thing would make the event feel a bit more like christmas.

It's a big dream to fight in breakwater marina! Would like to see that at least once.

I would like that beacon looks a bit more christmas like. Snow on the rooftops. Maybe snow comming from sky. (if that is even possible without any fps problems) I think wind sounds on would be nice too. Christmas Lights and a Christmas tree. Well... dreaming is nice but I doubt it's possible before engine update.

I read a post about this topic and thought to search if there is already a suggestion for this. Now I wanna share my ideas to it. Just realized today that all this cars and outfit got created by the community. And that is actually really nice. LO should definitely try to continue this. Then there could be events to create new outfits and vehicles. Maybe it's even possible to add decals or presets. That there won't be too much clothing and cars at once, there could be event limited items. Outfits as example: The Halloween Event was running for 2 weeks. In the first week (or the week before the actually event starts) LO could announce the design contest. And when the design contest is over they add winners outfit to joker store until the halloween event is over. Everyone who bought this outfit during this time keep the outfit forever, all other player won't be able to buy it from joker store again. There could be various rules for this events. As example they want you to use a special symbol on that outfit. Then they could add a reedem code like "HALLOWEENSYMBOL" and you have to use it on your outfit. All in one I really like this kind of contests and it suits to APB. Also I would like to hear @Lixil's opinion.
