  1. I generally have an easier time killing them than they have killing me.

    Lock gold to gold

No. I think I made a few better suggestions for when the game gets more players. Until then it should stay as it is right now.
  3. Became more of a general game issues thread, instead of just servers. All audio levels OTHER THAN GUNSHOTS, FOOTSTEPS and ENGINES should be fully adjustable. A couple extra sliders in the options menu with ambient noise, car music and etc. Haven't read the rest, did not find interesting, i'll make sure to read it later. I do agree on audio.

    HUD changes

Since the dawn of times we have had the same HUD design and layout, and we all have come to love it. With the engine update coming (probably? next year) the opportunity should be taken for enhancing the visual experience in this regard. A refreshing, less blocky, more "dynamic" HUD would be a blow of fresh air. My suggested changes: ~ Remove box-ness of the HUD elements ~ Higher resolution HUD elements (waypoint + objective icons, weapon icons, counters, radar/minimap) ~ Less of the HUD at the top of the screen (where all the action takes place) would clean up our vision and add immersion to the game ~ Important information (ammo and grenade counter, deployables, minimap and ESSENTIAL (meaning abreviated) mission objectives) gathered at the bottom center of the screen, preferably leaving the corners and sides of the screen empty and NOT touching the bottom of the screen, but two to three cm above it so you can give it a quick glance or use your peripheral vision to look at it ~ Stats (/fps) displayed in one of the corners of the screen, where it makes sense for it to exist. Not vital info? Out of the way. ~ Ability to move around the HUD elements in the options menu. Ability to scale up or down certain elements, or the whole HUD. Ability to remove elements of the HUD you don't want. With all this I would throw in as well a bit of customization, maybe a customizable color scheme ~ Contact rank/progress just shouldn't appear during missions. Notoriety, on the other hand, should (be smaller or simpler). (Other gimmicks that I've thought off but wouldn't appeal to a lot of people: Chroma support, maybe in the form of your keyboard flashing red when you get shot, an audio mixer/equalizer type lighting when you ride your car while playing music on the radio. Anyways, i don't own razer, so i don't know if that would just be annoying or actually kind of cool)
  5. HUD looks dirty "dirty" enough for me (compared to modern games with different HUD layouts). More things on screen wouldn't help. Accurate numbers in weapons, cars and mods instead of bars that are filled "this" or "that" much with a lighter gray color that the background gray would be one step in the path of decency.
  6. You did not take into consideration that people here cannot read and/or get offended easy
  7. Toxic manchildren, consisting of at least 50% of the population, and lack of content.
  8. it's... it's beautiful... wait, level 3? What about levels 1 and 2?

    Tinted Windows

With that just take the car customization to another level. I want a bright pink fresno with lime green neons, green tire smoke and hydraulics
  10. no. you gain plat from trading with other players that have bought platinum. you do receive platinum at the start of the game but it's just 50 (around 2 euro value or something) and this one is protected from trading (meaning you can only spend it on the item shop). what i'm seeing here is the same idea applied to apb
  11. cars already slip regardless, so just imagine there's snow or whatever on top and enjoy yourself.
  12. DE is the only company who has done this (and the only one who has done it right). TBH I don't hope for anyone else to pull it off right.

  14. Then always carry a JG and a useful long range secondary. The joker 3-shot burst pistol (which i can't remember the name of) and the colby revolver are your best options, in my opinion. If you really need to switch your primary to something else, do it. But playing this way will force you to adapt your style. also, sensitivity. dpi. blah blah. I've never heard that "high dpi, low sens" thing IIRC. Plus it's way more uncomfortable to use in your OS since it just starts to go Sonic the Hedgehog all over the place. About your gaming mousepad... I don't use one. They're a waste of money for the surface (20 euro for 30cm wide? Is it made by the finest thailandese child workers?). There's an art shop in my town and for about 20 euro I found a really big drawing mat that works perfectly. It's 600mm wide and 400mm tall, made of sticky rubber on the bottom and a more glossy rubber on the top, which offers way less friction and doesn't cause any problems with the sensor. Go look for one, you'll probably find something.
  15. If you literally can't cqc try grabbing a SMG or a JG and forcing yourself to use it. It will teach you two very important things that you probably won't learn otherwise: Tracking (as well as flicking) and positioning. Find a sensitivity that works for you. I play a variety of shooters and my sensitivity hovers around 2-3 with 800dpi. To find the sensitivity that best suits you: Set your DPI to the lowest value (usually from 800 to 1200) and fiddle around with the sensitivity until you can track accurately but also flick with ample movements. Also don't change your dpi in-game with the buttons if you have a gaming mouse. It's a waste of time, brain power and mouse buttons. So just stick to one sensitivity and dpi and git gud with that one. To aim better: Rely on forearm movements instead of wrist movements. When you play with wrist movements you don't have as much range of motion. It's also bad for your wrist. At first you'll have to force yourself but it will become natural after a few games. About the strafing... Maybe they use Fragile?
  16. he's probably like that because they did surgery on a grape
  17. Makes it cooler that you're using assets from the game (the screens). If I had to do it I would draw them but this way it feels better.
  18. If it's something to keep the players coming every day/week, bring it on. About the rewards, G1C/Boxes wouldn't hurt as much as long as they're not given away every day, but maybe in a week interval, and only given away in stacks of 1 to maybe 3? for boxes and maybe 50g1c. Since these rewards would only appear once a week (maybe extend that to 10-15 days) i wouldn't see much of a problem with it. This thread just reminded me of the ''battle pass'' system some games use, for example Fortnite or Paladins (''discount/ripoff overwatch'' for those who don't know). This should be considered in a few years once the game is updated and has received updates, it's not really a bad idea. Maybe it shouldn't give g1c, but boxes and customizable exclusives should be considered, along with skins and other gimmicks.
  19. Enough to get you 90 days of regret if you're looking for anything else (perms)
  20. Fps drops are more related to wether you're using an SSD or an HDD, at least on w10. On w10 without an SSD you'll have stuttering and dips all the time, at least in my experience with this and many other, much more demanding titles using UE. 4gb of ram and 1gb vram is more than enough for this game at any res and settings.
  21. Boo hoo. Wait, til 2019? That's a loooong time buddy. Good luck, sincerely. Cheaters? Nuh-huh. I haven't seen one in a while. And "while" here means at least 2 years, 'cause i've started playing again a couple of months ago after LO took over and implemented BattlEye.
  22. Post your specs if you want real help. As of recommended requirements, the steam page says: 4gb ram, 4c cpu and a gt8800 with 512mb of vram. Trust me, the game doesn't run well on those specs, since the old pc I had about 5 years ago didn't run this game very well (or any other game with similar reqs), and my machine had a similar gpu and cpu. Even though the game has been updated a couple of times since the last time specs were updated, i doubt they have got more demanding, or that they have even changed. Since I don't have any idea of what your machine has, the path of upgrades I'd recommend would be: gpu, then ssd. Don't mind the ram and cpu; i've had this game run on 3gb of ddr3 ram (minimum on steam page) on a friend's computer, and basically any cpu that you might find out there will be enough for this game.
  23. I like the malls but some of you are gonna cheese the shit out of the high areas and that amazingly sturdy bulletproof glass around the edges, so I'm good with what we have right now.
