Was having sad nostalgic memories today and remembering all the games that I have played in the past that have either died or are so low pop they are practically dead anyway. Mimics APB a little bit. Guess I have a habit of picking games that are cursed. Might have come up with E3 this week and knowing the chances of anything hitting that spot or filling the void for me won't be there. Blacklight: Retribuition NeoTokyo Tribes: Vengeance Tribes: Ascend Titanfall 1 and 2 Dirtybomb Brink Ghost In the Shell: FA Natural Selection 2 Savage Hawken Nuclear Dawn Strike Vector Shadowrun Pandemic Express And so many more. I could go on and on. I know these types of shooters that put mechanical skill and alternative movement as the focus have always been kind of a niche, even more so lately, but it still sucks for those that can really only get in to those sort of games. There will always be that void that I constantly try to fill with games like these and every time it never works out. Probably why I never left APB and won't until it is completely gone. Am I only capable of loving games that are destined to die? Not really sure why I even made this thread. Just have some Neotokyo feels.

What purpose towards the core gameplay do they serve.

I for one like that the GMs have become more 'invisible' in their presence. As it should be. They are still there though.

World is a great game. Put hundreds of hours in to that and could easily put a lot more. Iceborne is looking great. Wildlands was really fun in coop though never got to finish it and Breakpoint is looking nice too. Will try and play that in coop as well.

I just bought smash brothers. So I might play some of that. The new Squad update looks kinda cool too.

I had another APB dream today. I was using a new version of the whisper and got called in as backup on a final stage item hold. It was in financial in the area just east of Ty Durrant where the large drive through the alley is and the internal car spawn. The area was highly modified though with more verticality. I ended up going 91-6 but my team still lost.

Leagues so that Statues actually serve a purpose. Crims vs crims and hopefully Enf vs Enf. Old songs. No limit of 4 dump trucks. SOME of the old missions. High polygon/quality clothes before some got downgraded. Old login screen and menu music. Old Render distance. Some old spots. Last.fm integration actually working. No vehicle district restriction (such as only vegas or cisco).

Yes. Let's give people ban hammers. I am sure that will go so well and nothing bad will happen at all.
