Fine. What does this balance change solve? The N-TEC will still be better than the STAR. New players will have a harder time with a more complex starting weapon. Chances are the STAR will actually end up performing worse as a burst fire assault rifle than it does now. The STAR plays differently enough from the N-TEC to justify its existence and it also has a specific gameplay purpose. Meanwhile the Ursus, Scoped N-TEC, and even the FAR are all way closer to redundant overlap with the base N-TEC, so why not mangle one of them instead? Or why not revive a truly dead gun, and rework the ISSR-A?

yeah pretty much, back when we first got battleye, players couldn't use stuff like msi afterburner advanced launcher is officially allowed and distributed by little orbit, its available on their website

the rules have always been pretty clear that all 3rd party programs that affect the game are at risk of triggering bans - the rule is overly broad specifically to cover situations like this where a program may or may not be malicious but still triggers the anticheat there's never going to be a complete list of all disallowed programs, because no anticheat or developer can account for every random custom coded and distributed program like your stencil tool

i dont think macros are that big of a problem in apb because a player generally needs several different fire rates for different engagements, but its actually pretty easy to set up a no recoil or no bloom macro on most gaming mice these days

you're going to get two answers for cheating the cheating is bad the cheating is not bad given your post, i think you'll probably land in "the cheating is bad" category population is objectively bad - it spiked for a bit after the upgrade, but its returned to NA (~100 peak) being unplayable for a majority of the day, and EU (~300 peak) being a bit better off but still not good
