  1. they're the GMs you see ingame, afaik there was only one application period and they've already been chosen
  2. what does a map of ny have to do with anything? at least post an apb map even if its already been officially stated to be wrong a lot of people talk about midtown like its nearly complete and just waiting for finishing touches (similar to asylum) when it never really existed while a new district could be have any kind of map balance, midtown has some decent description in the lore (not that anyone cares tbh) that sounds a lot like financial
  3. maybe u should post some better symbols then????????????
  4. last i asked it was just something they were looking into in the future but it’s nowhere near a priority (paraphrasing) the way it was worded sounded like not until after the engine upgrade which is pretty understandable since i think merging accounts has to be done manually - that’s a lot of time on something that only affects a minority of players
  5. afaik this is one of the functions of the new volunteer GMs
  6. midtown was never a map, and it was never intended to be it was a test district for assets that got rolled into financial
  7. just make it an option in the video settings section that way everyone who wants motion sickness can have it
  8. given they specifically fixed objective jumping with heavy items and not with medium items i think it’s safe to say it’s a feature now that was g1, so if orbit wants to balance things differently its up to them

    Cheating

if they decide to extend it it’s permanent, if they decide to remove it it’s temporary you’re overthinking this really hard my dude

are you bringing apb back? cuz ur not bringing sexy back

    Cheating

cheat making is a pretty big business, it seems odd that a cheat maker would put in the time and effort to maintain cheats for such a low population game
  12. the enforcer location is where Simon Tran (now the asylum enforcer contact) used to be the criminal location is where Britney Bloodrose (now next to Byron Bloodrose, when g1 inexplicably decided to shuffle contacts around) used to be
  13. this is neither what are you on about m8
  14. i assume he means the map balance
  15. i wouldn’t be surprised either and i do agree that we need them but (like kewlin above) i think both are pretty low effort compared to the other “specialist” contacts
  16. then you’re going to be disappointed tbh, since that’s not really what the engine upgrade is about
  17. sounds promising the new contacts sound like they’re going to have already existing content, is there any specifics what exactly that is (old RAF rewards, 3slot legendary variants, etc)? and will these contacts be entirely new creations from orbit or will they be old g1 assets that orbit has put the finishing touches on?

there has been no indication of permanent bans not existing, just that they will not be automatically issued without a manual review

    Cheating

the quote outlines the exact same system mattscott talks about in this thread, there is no change in policy whatsoever auto bans aren’t permanent, but temp bans are - if anything this is a better system because it seems to indicate that all bans are reviewed at least twice
  20. nearly every game since ever has been based around ranks or achievement; from spiffy new clothes in apb or access to a new harder level in the original mario games its especially prevalent in MMOs and RPGs (of which apb has aspects of both) im not even sure we play the same game tbh, there’s incredibly little grinding in apb since you can unlock just about everything (there are some poorly balanced exceptions that g1 implemented) simply by playing the core pvp gameplay, if that’s not a seamless mesh of “enjoyable game” and “artificial achievement” then perhaps you just don’t like apb? the pay2play model seems to be dying off, imo most people far prefer the choice of paying for small microtransaction content over being forced to repeatedly pay for all content (including things they may or may never interact with)
