if you dont even trust the company to tell the truth about a little thing like weapon stats, why would you even bother to play the game lol regardless the hard numbers are available on apbvault, altho if you really dont trust the company to tell the truth you could just test it for yourself ingame if it was just an estimate then its entirely possible that you got min ttk'd by an oca reskin before your second shot, they (including the f2p version) are very strong weapons and shotguns are currently a little overnerfed given the fact that you think reskins are p2w its safe to say you dont understand the game

this entire situation could be resolved with consistent numerical stats ingame no, any gun that is a reskin (or "functionally identical" i think it says on armas) does not have any edge over its f2p variant - identical means identical shotguns do high burst damage and in return they have a shorter range, 1.5s is more than enough time to get 2 shots off it honestly just sounds like you dont fully understand the game which, given you were trying to play in a bronze district, is understandable

never really understood the issue here tbh; aside from the fact you start the game with 2 permanent (and quite good) guns it takes maybe 2 missions to get enough money to lease a gun for 10 days, if you want a gun for every range you'll have to do 4 missions or so if an hour per week is too difficult, apb probably isnt the right type of game for you - altho to be fair once you start getting into slotted guns and mods its no longer quite so easy i also (might be biased, considering the filth that is my purchase history) have no problem with how the game encourages you to pay money for the convenience of skipping "the grind", its not like this is a typical mmo where theres indestructible endgame gear and unbeatable top tier weapons players can purchase

why would you want extra underpowered guns? if you really really have a need to play at a disadvantage, you get 2 character slots - make an enforcer character and main ltl

as someone with a couple dozen characters, i think rank progression is pretty ok you unlock most of the "necessary" equipment (guns and mods) within a few play sessions, and all progression is dependent on you playing as you normally would even if there was no leveling up at all apb has no real endgame since all gameplay content is provided via other players it can be a little grindy, but since that grind is basically the only thing to do in apb i personally dont feel its a bad idea to stretch it out as long as possible role progression on the other hand could use some work imo, mostly in the form of additional rewards to make the insane higher weapon role requirements more worthwhile to actively chase

thats the point that was made earlier tho, if you could level contacts from anywhere there would be very few people who voluntarily play waterfront it wouldnt be a problem if we could just balance the district but thats a pretty big undertaking, therefore not likely to happen until all the bigger core issues are dealt with

ask and ye shall receive lol any chance there could be an update to the system while it’s already being worked on? there were various weapons that didn’t have a trial for whatever reason, and personally i think the f2p trial time should be bumped up to 1 hour instead of 30min

those patch notes indicate that the accuracy over shots would remain the same, and the ntec at that time had a curve mechanic on the bloom

it would be nice to see an official response from orbit on this but i really can’t think of any reason that would justify removing the free trials if free trials are gone for good, does that mean the refund policy will change?

you say it like you (and every other schlub that would spam this gm with whispers) are always going to be correct whispering a gm won’t be all that different from using /report, in both cases a pretty thorough investigation has to be done before a ban happens - if a ban happens at all the gm isn’t gonna show up and terminate a potential customer over 5 minutes of spectating and a random whisper

you unlock the flare gun from from aletta cadagan (level 6 iirc), and there’s also a variant available from the jt store

nfas has always been a crazy ultra cqc gun, it dominates under 10m due to ease of use and raw ttk but it’s such a small niche it’s not really worth using if youre honestly having trouble with an nfas at 20m i think you’re the silver here lmao, even with ir3 that’s past drop off range

have you tried using the ‘S’ key when engaging an nfas? works wonders the spread is so wide that ir3 doesn’t really help the nfas anyway

not super thrilled to be discussing cheat details on the forums but hopefully if more people have correct info there'll be less dumbass hackusations wishful thinking, i know aiming and shooting are two different settings on most cheats, and neither has to be automatic most also have options for how fast they track enemies and how close you (or your crosshair) has to be in order to "lock on" to an enemy an aimbot with a low fov and a higher smooth aim value was probably the single most popular cheat in apb (besides walls), and is fairly difficult to distinguish from a legit player you dont have to press a key a triggerbot will still miss and since it relies on you actually aiming even a 0ms delay isnt always blatant you could combine the two pretty easily (most cheats come with both) to have the gunplay of a high level player with the press of a single button, probably still have the game sense of a rock tho - thats an easy way to spot a bad cheater im curious, is this more flaws drama?

why would you even want this? assuming bullets didn’t just disappear at 100m (like they do now) it would take several seconds to kill anyone, since all snipers are balanced to engage within 100m aside from the dmr, which would immediately be used to sit 120m away from an objective and kill people in .8s while they can’t even see you (or shoot back) because they don’t have high magnification scope
