Uh, cos we love the game and want to FUND the company which has the plan to make the awesome fixes... which they probably can't do if we don't show our support...

Not that I don't believe it - but I've been playing since RTW times so I heard the familiar tune for how many years now. I'm certain that there will be several sales before the Engine Upgrade comes.
