Im sick of the team killing Little orbit or whoever is in charge of this game needs to take off friendly fire because i am sick of the team killing lets be realistic even if i do report them for team killing it will take days just for staff to get the report and either way this same perpetrator can just make a new account it’s not going to resolve much. As an enforcer i try my best to play for my team and to provide as much participation as possible until i have someone from my own team shooting at me to lower my health or just plain team killing me and you know dang well these perpetrators are trying to accomplish to help the opposition win and i could say the same thing happens to the criminal side im speaking for every victim who has to go through this I don’t put in a lot of time and accuracy and planning to try to get an enemy just to get teamkilled at the end or shot at by my own so called team mate everytime this better be taken into consideration because i don’t need to take sh*t from some random stranger who only knows how to team kill or is just abusing the system. Im not the only one who feels like this

Okay, so can someone in charge tell me why on the launcher LO doesn't have up to date information. Just like this extended time of servers being down. Some people don't know to come to forums for information. Latest news and updates it 'says'. Last listing was from August Would make more sense if you had it listed in launcher messages. You probably have a large % of players that think the game is shutdown even. I and everyone else in APB appreciates your efforts, but lets take it a step further and do as I am suggesting. It only makes sense. I have had to tell at least a dozen people it isn't shutdown, that you guys are doing some kind of updates. Lixil I expect you will be where I will get an answer for this or excuse/reason. Have a great day APBers. Much love to all and Happy Thanksgiving

I've noticed a lot of things that APB doesn't have in regards to other games, and I wanted to start putting together a list of things that I feel like could be changed and improved on with the coming engine update. A lot of these are going to be focused towards making life easier for content creators and streamers, but can have use to other general APB players. Without rambling on: Implement the option to appear offline to friends. Implement the option to turn off all music in the game, including a separate option for kill/death themes so that streamers and other content creators don't have to worry about someone else's copyrighted song causing their stream/video to get demonetized, and to shut down the abuse of "earrape" kill themes by cheaters and other scummy people. Implement the option to have your character only render on your screen as "default guy" so that content creators/streamers could hide how their character looks in videos and avoid harassment. implement the option to hide teammate names and to hide your own name. When sprinting, push civilians aside. Fix the "stickyness" of vehicle controls when you're getting out of a vehicle. I cannot count the amount of times where I've activated my nos from 5 feet away because the animation wasn't finished by the time I pushed shift. Allow for menus to be opened while dead. Make calling backup automatic instead of opt-in. Have grenades thrown by players that aren't in your mission/incapable of damaging you leave no smoke trail or smoke effect upon explosion. Add in a "backfill" medal/award for players who get called in near the end of a mission so that they aren't stuck with pocket change for having the mission end before they could even show up. Add in a "Non-contributor" detriment for being 100m+ away from the objective and not interacting with the mission. It would have to be a fairly strict set of criteria, but there needs to be a way to boot teammates that aren't contributing while also not teamkilling or being AFK. Add an option to disable the "do you want to group with your team members?" post-mission popup. That's about all I can think of now. Feel free to comment your own or give feedback. Try to think "small" in terms changes, as I'd like the whole list to be something that the dev team could reasonably do in a week or two and not in a month or two.

before the developers bring in new content or whatever is planned for the next updates i would like a very small and or minor update for the apb characters what bothers me a lot about them is that these characters don't blink at all like they do not blink their eyes just stay open all the time can one of the developers please do something about this because the only time my character blinks or any apb character blinks is when you whip out the ammo supplier that's it but i would like for my character to blink all the time like regularly but yeah that's all i ask for how come the npc's get to blink?

Hey guys, I visit the Forum everyday, and I feel like there isn't hasnt been movement by Devs in the last weeks. How is the Engine upgrade going? and RIOT?
-
I'm starting this thread because people have made good points on both sides of the argument involving RIOT mode and the engine upgrade. Is it good to get new content in the game? Yes. Absolutely. Is it time for the new content? No. Absolutely not. The time for the content isn't going to be soon. We NEED the engine upgrade before any content expansion. I'm saying this to have ease of introducing new content. If you wait on content and upgrade the Engine, however long that may take, then you'll know the code necessary for changes and be able to properly organize things on the backlines. We need you, LO, we do. We need you to follow your heart and consult your mind when it comes to these decisions. RIOT mode won't bring as much as you hope, not in the game's current state. Regardless of the server you are on, anyone can tell there are issues with the game that needs to be fixed, and content expansions on an already broken engine is just going to make things worse. I know that people are going to disagree, and thats fine. Something needs to be said though, and it feels like (from my end) that any advice from the playerbase, when talking about criticisms that are constructive, seem to not be getting through, not being looked at. I want to see APB thrive just as much as the next guy, I want to see APB return to the popularity that it could be, its just in this state.. Thats not going to happen. As for the community of APB, those who are still playing, and those who have left, please I want you to give feedback, let me know your thoughts and please, lets keep this as professional as can be. And lets keep a neutral tone in this and be as unbiased as possible. @MattScott

Matt Scott, and his company Little Orbit, have allowed the game to get to an almost unplayable state, so much is common talk amongst the frustrated playerbase of APB. Moreover he is placing so much of his attention on trying to deliver even a slither of that promise to "upgrade" APB, which has been almost comical in the way the promise keeps getting downsized. All this is part of his failure to do his due diligence before acquiring APB: Reloaded, he failed not only to know the game and its deep rooted issues, but he also failed in knowing his team and their capabilities. Currently a new player entering the game will be faced with players who — as they gained experience in APB over the course of thousands upon thousands of hours — also lost their basic decency and sportsmanship in the process. That is what APB does; it is a toxic wasteland, it grinds down a person's humanity if they aren't careful to preserve it. The new player will get stomped out by pre-made teams of highly experienced veterans of APB, and if they should be so lucky that a highly skilled veteran should end up on their side, that veteran is likely to refuse to play in a team with a newbie, will not make an effort, in order to preserve their ego, or outright restart the game to get out of the team of the new or low-skilled player. You should be aware how highly developed the sense of fairness is in human beings, and none of this feels fair. No technological breakthrough will make this better, LO could figure out how to make APB run on a quantum computer for all I care, and still the community would be defeating any possibility of the game's recovery. If Matt Scott wishes, I can outline for him all of the toxic behaviours that I see in the game, I'll be a wasteland tour-guide if he needs me to, just so that he gets a grasp on the reality. If you can not make the game feel fair, perhaps you should give players an escape. Those players who would outright quit APB because of how unfair PvP feels, might be kept in by further PvE options, if PvE were viable to avoid PvP, and to progress contacts. I do not know what percentage of the APB community would be "pacifists" just looking to customise their characters and vehicles and do co-op activities, but I would say that already at least 10% of a district will have these wallflowers hanging out, who only occasionally will play missions, and not for long, as they are not able to be competitive. These wallflowers could be another source of cash-flow for this cash-starved game, perhaps a PvE district is in order, wherein you would flesh out these cooperative rather than competitive activities. This would not negatively impact the players available to missions, since these "wallflowers" rarely actually participate in missions, and take up district slots. You could incentivise them to spend time, and money, and clear them out of mission districts with a PvE district. I just can not stand the sense that so much hope is placed on a performance upgrade. Then again, perhaps Matt Scott knows these deep-rooted issues, and he doesn't actually think he can get this game up to a viable orbit again, he just keeps it around as a training environment for his devs, as he claimed that R.I.O.T mode was, in the end.
