Hey guys and gals, I’ve been running into a frustrating issue with APB Reloaded since this morning. The game loads to the menu just fine, but I’ve noticed way more stutter and latency compared to yesterday. The real problem starts when I try to log in with my Gamers First account—it freezes and hard crashes straight to my desktop. Oddly enough, when I use my Steam-linked account, it logs in instantly, and I can see my character. However, as soon as I try to load into the Social District or Waterfront, I crash to the desktop again. I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix this, but nothing seems to work. Here’s what I’ve done so far: -) Cleared cache-related files in the %localappdata% APB Reloaded folder (while avoiding saved settings unless necessary). -) Uninstalled and reinstalled the game to ensure the install directory was clean. -)Adjusted RAM usage to help the game load faster—but this didn’t fix the login or district crash issues. It might be related to the game servers or how they handle memory, but even with high-end components, I’m still stuck with these crashes. If anyone has insights, tips, or fixes, I’d really appreciate your help!

More back end issue than my client side. If any forum mod can escalate Has the backend character index been modified? I jumped in to check the updates progress (been awhile..) But I seriously feel like my account characters which are legacy alpha/beta (2010) have seriously reduced HP / Stats. they are dying so easily even with mods on, Kev2/3 or CA3 . to be fair I cant tell if the character mods were even doing anything.. so either an issue with characters or mods stacking. and I was just getting slaughtered within seconds. 2 to 3 shots of a CR5, Ntec, or Star. on a corners edge I was being slaughtered before I could move back behind the edge.. yet im seeing other players with no mods, lower or equal character mods just soaking up the bullets living longer? ... one person flicking the Oscar was doing me with 2/3 shots. yet others on my team could take 4 or 5.. now. I have today come across some players who were clearly snapping between targets and were perfect shots from cover etc a shame this game is still plagued with the crap. . but on some of the other players who were missing a few hits, were still destroying me when landing 2 or 3 hits with assault rifles , No secondary assists on me either.. So I am thinking its my Account Characters . I am not as quick/good as I used to be put still put up a good fight... but I was landing easy 6 out of 8/9 shots with a Cr5 + R3 and still wasn't killing them.. the worst (final moment) was putting 15 to 20 bullets of a cr5 and a clip of nano close range into a player and they walked though it killing me and then someone else.. Server wasn't lagging it was a decent 23ms (decent for apb)

The issue with the ARMAS and JT store is that lot of the weapons you pare for there there are just terrible. And they're even weaker than unpaid variants. Now that the meta is changing, I think there are a selection of weapons which need some urgent attention. The Pack of Revelations Weapons need a lot of love, and here is how. They need to all become legendaries. Why? 1) They're rare - The most popular weapon out of all of them is the PS-247 Oblivion. 2) They're supposed to have a unique identity against the rest of the weapon meta - Most weapons are just reskins or variations of popular weapons, whereas these have their own style and identity. Here's my suggestions. SG-21 'Strife': I think this weapon very much behaves like the bully of the shotguns. As such, it should be used to strike fear into opponents, while losing some of its vehicle damaging capabilities. I think it would be fair to remove this weapon's ability to blow up vehicles, but make the spread tighter, maintain the low fire rate and allow it to open doors and disable vehicles. Legendary Mod - Breaching Rounds - Description - "Primarily used for tactical entry, Wax polymer rounds ensure that players can get in and get others out as needed." -35% spread -20% fire rate Ability to break down doors Chance to disable enemy vehicles New weapon description - "No expense has been spared to ensure that the 'Strife' can use the largest, meanest shells around. While the breaching rounds require slower cycling to keep the weapon in one piece, the resulting destruction is worth it." AR-97 'Misery': This needs to be the final boss of the STAR series. The slowest firing, most punishing and semi-accurate battle rifle. A special tagger symbol and a compensator will account for increasing recoil as you fire. Legendary Mod - Recoil Compensator - Description - "Utilising a piston driven compensator allows this weapon to redirect gas as you fire, gradually reducing recoil" As you keep firing: -3% recoil per shot Tagger - RFID Tags attached to fired rounds effectively mark enemy targets, highlighting them on your Heads Up Display for you and your team. This variant places a "Skull" over your opponent's head. R-2 'Harbinger: It's about time this weapon actually behaved like a wild west revolver. It needs better range, lower recoil at long ranges and faster fire rate close up. Also, add a speed reloader. Legendary Mod - Slip Hammer - Description - "Disconnecting the hammer from the trigger allows the user to reload faster and fire shots more rapidly at the expense of accuracy." In Marksmanship: -30% fire rate +20% accuracy Outside Marksmanship: -40% range +25% fire rate +10% recoil PS-247 Oblivion: This weapon performs well as it is, so give the user a bonus after killing a player within a specific time frame. Legendary Mod - Dedicated Aim - Description - "Built-in data collection allows the user to gain bonuses after dispatching targets consecutively. After killing a player (Lasts 5 seconds) -20% reload time +10% fire rate

1. Why do I have have to have a separate account for the forum from the gamersfirst account? Just why? 2. What is my username supposed to be? I tried steam, I tried email, I tried the forum account, and I couldn't log in. 3. Why did my friend have have to install it three times? It feels so needlessly difficult.

I accidentally created two posts when I was quoting people. I did state what I want, but I would like to hear your thoughts. thank you I'm inclined to disagree with the first part. The weapon still stands leaps and bounds beyond other secondaries, it definitely needs weakening in terms of its fire rate and range. It's not as if those other weapons too much more love, the problem weapon just needs a nerf.

theres that name and another starting with EH and some numbers then this steam animator guy. They group trolled me blocking me in thrashing my car, we had a mission ec2 on my side and the eh guy, driving an identical mcdonalds themed van continuously crashed and blocked me from getting to the point. I might add there were allot of 'observers' also jumping up n down in my face shot blocking me. A couple days before he made this thread he told me to go home an morn for my dead wife. She's not dead. its my mother who's dead. n he used to make sexual comments towards her, he simply forgot which one was dead. So Ya its someone who has been banned numerous times for foul behavior. I have no clue or solid evidence of 3rd party cheats on him, but mission blocking by your own clan member, a marked clan member, is cheating to me. Be hard to prove in this context because the clan leader was on my team. But for him to post false claims in forum and use my name as if I were in league with such a monster. Really is a hatful community to hate a man for not buying hax. He used to go by a name that rythmes with that skill u need to use bow and arrow. Generally he would grab a car n hide somewhere and spend the whole time trash talking everyone. Everybody knows I don't like gold, he's gold, everyone knows Im a Republican, so wouldn't be caught dead at mcdonalds with their tofu and fake meat, and of course the comments about my wife. Who would believe I would join up with him after all that. I assume these people lost accounts in the EU bannings, so they came to NA to singled me out because i refuse to hack, he prob figures I musta gone to EU and reported him out his account. Thats OK, I know who he is, and what larger clan he is with. n they arent too happy I whooped em last night. Now they won the match, but me instead of tagging along, i got 10 kills off 2 very well known long time known golds. not to mention one of the larger clans spies talked too much so i know eC and eh are working for them. where my average v gold is gonna be 2-15, so 10 is allot for an old man. No cheats, I put a scope on the english lmg .303 and a LRR mod n smoked em. So I changed the way I do a mission. I stay away from the point, the point is for the golds to do put on my team to auto dethreat me. but that ok too, idc about threat or role kills, just kills. Even though sard is not active in NA I'm already shadow banned, cuz every mission is v golds. So I die several times, that doesnt matter their kills are faked by aimbot and smooth aim, mine are real. and me being the Oldest and allegely the worst player world wide. Me killing them in game is gonna hurt that sociopathic ego they have. Before this I almost quit completely because they didn't put sard in NA or ban anyone in NA n along come these clowns. Got to the point i would just come in and listen to my music not k up, not do joker jobs which i'm known for. So I snapped and now people that have abused legits for years will take the brunt that Mr EC started. I won't cheat but I don't care about getting banned. What'r ya gonna ban me from a group of bully sociopaths, with guns that it takes 80 shots center mass to kill an opponent, with no anticheat or one that works backward punishing legit players by putting them in missions with or vs golds so they dethreat. 7 years of Hell because of desegregation, as many or more years with no effective anticheat, so the theme of these kids today is go bother the nice guy who wont hack. We stole his bronze district n he won't leave the game cause it belongs to the hackers now.

Ya wanna poke the old man, with your elementary school antics. People wanna hack and make legits play in far eastern Mid Atlantic server. Matt wants only put cheat points on the legits facing non stop all gold missions, He wants to dethreat the legit, and punish him for being legit. Cause I'm the only one in NA with cheat points based on every mission is with or vs hackers. You kids think your aimbot and your multiple account postings and your fake roller ball aim give you some right to put down others, think you're at the peak of your life being a gold in apb. You guys only bother me cause you figure i dont hack and am old so i must be weak, and therefore a tasty target for haters. Well We'll see about your hacking, car trolling, chat abuse, ect. Ill probly get banned for shooting at hackers and trolls, if LO puts them on my team Ill shoot em. Dont matter what team what faction, it's WAR with all of Yuns. The Hypermetrics Contest This event is pretty simple and straight forward, it's how we do it at Wave Lounge, the goal you might ask ? Get the highest possible FPS in APB, that's it, that's the event, yup. All you have to do to win is reach the highest possible FPS in APB with a few rules: 1) You must provide a complete screenshot of your game with performance metrics (any overlay of your choice) 2) You must be in an online district (yes social and fightclubs do count), that means no login screen trickery 3) For your first submission, you must specify whether you're competing for the prize or not, you cannot change your choice afterwards. The rules are subject to change if some player finds a loophole, so we take the right to change the contest's rules to keep it fair, and give the win to the player that actually deserves it. The event will run from the date of which this post is published, up to the 8th January 2025 What can i win and how do i participate ? Well here's a few tips so you can stand a chance against other competitors: - One of the most significant settings to get higher FPS is to use No GC configs as well as Double Buffering ON - The second one, is to go somewhere where the map is rendered as little as possible (exemple, back of the social district) - Third one, is to use OTW, yes Open Test world, which is currently publicly open, so you have no players loaded - And last, things that can help is running at a lower resolution, having a debloated system, overclocking for single core performance. As an extra little note, I'm still planning on running this little contest every end of the year as a fun way to gather performance metrics related to APB over time. I have been wondering both if sard was active in NA, which matt wont confirm, and or that somehow I have cheat points, because I am constantly being matched with cheats. I dont run macro, i have gamer mouse set to about 2500dpi, other than LMB the mouse wheel is set to fire. but i rarely use it. I do holler allot about golds but I think Ive had to play those same bunch of silvers that dont miss. The main reasons i would cry about golds is the math and pool of golds existing in the past and the curve to out score them, combined with the large pool of hax, i dont see how it could be done legally outside of exploit. I think that having golds on my team will automatically dethreat me or keep me from up threating. Most say its very easy to get gold, so either they are lying to cover up the hax or the threat system has stagnated my account, being 10 yrs old. I might add I seen a speed hack in na yesterday but couldn't get the name, plus with 91ms I can't really judge people they moved about 40 meters instantly into a car, i was just sitting in the park chilling. n it was a silver

Hello, today I tried to log into my account to play - but it gives an error "Unable to connect to login server (error code: 8). The game may be down for maintenance. Check the game forums for details. If you are sure that maintenance is not currently in progress, please contact technical support." I didn't find anything about preventive work, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place - but tell me, is this a problem with the account or is there really preventive work going on there?

Hello! This is my first ever post on the forum and first time returning to the game in many many years. I went to log in and noticed there was an error, when I select "login using steam account" on the main menu the error 11002. The problem is I never made a gamersfirst account and only ever logged in using my Steam. My email that I used for Steam does not have my character on it. My characters names where PaulBlart (enforcer) I dont remember if any of the L's where i's. HeXeH (criminal). Following the recent ban wave, after listening to the incredulous opinion of several players I know, and after trying to ask for explanations from the moderators and Matt himself, getting only a few and rude answers, I decided to write this message; dedicated mainly to the members of the community who no longer feel safe, unable to understand what is NOT allowed to be done in APB, fearing that their account could be suspended at any time without receiving any explanation and without any way to appeal. This message is NOT intended to be in any way a request of unban for those players deemed "guilty", instead it is meant to be a criticism of the poor communication, the recent decisions made regarding the ban policy, and the transparency of the game's EULA, particularly the Rules of Conduct (RoC) section. The message will mainly focus on the decision to ban a group of players who cooperated to complete the weekly baylan activity, and some levels of the cop role (stabba). So, no, they were NOT banned for cheating. I will base my argument on the following points. 1. The lack of specific and clear rules for everyone and an effective way to communicate them. Little Oribt should make it VERY CLEAR what behaviors/actions are NOT allowed in APB by updating their EULA/RoC and communicating it the best way possible. It is untrue to say that cooperation between players aimed at leveling up roles/levels is against the RoC, I invite you to read the rules to understand that there is NO section dedicated to this at all. It is as if all of a sudden they start banning players who play arranged matches or have car meetings/races in the district, justifying it with "this is not the intended way to play the game." After playing APB for over 7 years, I have helped and been helped by dozens of different players. Thanks to them I have been able to complete events, the rare contact activities (nano), fight club weekly challenges and more. It is not uncommon to find players looking for help in completing achievements or roles, particularly during holiday events. These roles take a long time to complete and become frustrating because of the number of objectives required and their repetitiveness, not to mention those people who enjoy griefing your mission. The same goes for the weapon roles, which require a total of 20 thousand kills EACH to complete. Regarding baylan, on the other hand, it has recently become difficult to find a full district, making it almost impossible to complete the weekly tasks if not with the help of a few friends. It should come as no surprise that players are cooperating to complete it faster, and I see no reason to punish them just now, after years. What has changed? According to most people I have talked to, and in my direct experience, no one had ever been banned for so little, but I could be wrong. In any case, the action itself is basically harmless, as I will explain in more detail in the next section, therefore players should be allowed to do it. 2. No harm was caused, nor intended, to anything or anyone. At this point I want to explain in detail why the ban is unfair. It all comes down to the fact that the players involved: - They did NOT cause any harm to other players, to Little Orbit, or to the game servers. - They did NOT prevent or make it difficult for others to complete their weekly challenge. - They did NOT use or abuse any bugs/glitches nor did they harrassed/griefed anyone in the district, the server was also empty. - They did NOT gain an unfair advantage in any way, they still cannot get more than 300 joker tickets per week from the baylan. 3. The gravity of the punishment, the absence of explanation/reason within the game, and the total inability to appeal. Because of the length of the punishment (14 days) the players involved were completely cut out from the Christmas event. Such a severe punishment for such a small and harmless action is absurd. Even if we consider their actions to be against the rules, there were other ways to "punish" them, such as issuing a warning on their account and, if they continue to misbehave, suspending them from that specific game-mode for a few days. Another solution would have been to remove the items obtained (e.g. joker tickets), returning their account to a previous state. If Little Orbit does not communicate to people and tell them what they have done wrong, how can they change their behavior? They will only repeat the same mistakes unintentionally and get banned again. It also doesn't help that we cannot appeal a ban in any way. It should not be difficult to create a section on your website to request an appeal, and we all know that sending a ticket to support is useless because they never reply. In conclusion, I hope Matt decides to give a comprehensive answer once and for all. Thank you.

Servers are crashing non stop, and when I say non stop, it literally means every 10minutes. We tried to play yesterday, there were literally 4 beacon full districts on in EU, full financial, and servers kept crashing. People came back filled 3 beacon districts entire game crashed again and sent error "account already in use" You guys need to make longer maintenance and fix it already. I am not posting just because game crashed one time, check logs. Its crashing non stop when there is bigger amount of players online. Nobody can grind the event during weekend if this ll persist.

Same here, password is already reset on my GamersFirst account and now I have to reset my steam password WHY? Why should I have to reset my steam password for no reason when I otherwise would never need or want to just so APB reloaded can login??

Hello LO, it is absolutely needed that you patch the kill amounts for the roles Snowball Fight! And Elfin' Around with the new matchmaking system in place the grind is basically impossible. Even if you grind 2-3 hours daily for the whole event, you will not be able to complete any of these roles, their numbers are just too high, old-fashioned. I really recommend you think about these numbers and how long you want your players to grind for them! Besides this, it's awesome to have these events back and with the new match making system in place you seem to be heading into a great direction! kindest regards [Edit] The Rewards should be Account-Wide! Doing the events grind on multiple characters Enforcers and Criminals is basically inhuman.

We had a localization issue which displayed the wrong message when an account was banned. The incorrect message told the player to contact customer support. But the last thing we need is everyone contacting customer support and overloading those folks. This is why Mage worded his post the way he did.

No shit. They purposely put that message to be vague. They could have shown the generic ban code, or even better, not banned the account at all and instead generate a customer support ticket to look at it. I thought that's what they were going to do since they seem iffy about banning players to begin with. Come on LO, at least be consistent. Then again, I guess random is technically consistent if the result is always random.

Translation: "We believe our AI-driven anticheat is so perfect, that it cannot false ban an account. As such, we will not hear out any appeals for any reason." Shit like this is why people can't take LO seriously.

(Error code 10023)" This means your account has been banned by SARD for the use of prohibited third-party applications (TOS violation). I will say from the experience of another game, a complaint about a cheater is a sign to create a new account for him (leveling up for 5 minutes), and put you on the pencil (as an informer), I am sure that such a player (cheater) will be happy to transfer all the money spent to a new one (I I asked to return only clothes from the store, when I realized that level 255 had become unplayable against cheaters, they refused me, no point), although, in this game, I think, only demonstrative players, twinks created specifically for the ban, are banned. This game, unfortunately for all veterans, has outlived its usefulness.

Gonna repost my old one, since in the last AMA, Matt ignored it completely (I wonder why...) A few more: 1.) All equipment slots unlocked, when? 2.) What happened to 2019's EMP grenades? Will you consider some of these grenades in the picture? 3.) When will there be a casual & competitive queue, to separate the game into their respective communities? 4.) Account-bound Coywolf, when? 5.) Debundling clothing items & weapons stuck in bundle/pack hell, when? 6.) Bombing mission final stage, why is it not more common? Will we get a fix for this? Missions as a whole need a overhaul 7.) Are there plans on changing out mission selection in Fight Club to Capture Point only? Kill missions have no place there. 8.) Will you make consumables permanent already? They're a APB $ sink hole. 9.) Can we get the missing kiosks in Social already? 10.) Can we get Parka Hoodie Down in Live and all the missing Innova items? It's a 300 pop game...

Please stop adding legendary weapons, including this new Enchantress the last 3 “legendary” weapons could have easily just been normal guns. I’m sure the fact that legendary weapons cost up to $110 per character bound weapon vs $20 for account bound normal guns has nothing to do with it. This is a good thing, it provides another means of balance and another avenue of mechanical skill progression. I do agree that all guns should achieve maximum accuracy under specific conditions for at least the first bullet though.
