I agree APB needs different things tailored and the real OG's that are still here do know what they are talking about and yes, G1 did some strange things to the game. My rant: Toxicity has always been part of APB; for crying out loud it actually fits the lore. However that's between players, let's try not to burn L.O. to the ground for trying stuff in 2019 and not getting it up to expectations at patch day? Apb:r isn't the easiest proje... ah screw that you all know the details. I suggest to stay positive towards the newest host, a little (orbit) longer. Not trying to kiss their patootie, I just got back I got nothing going on with them. I'm posting something positive because I still can. Yikes.

This has been THE issue with Apb since Rtw days. Different things have been tried, nothing made it better. Partly it is the community as well, but hey, if the game allows stuff you should be able to do stuff, right? I dunno, personally I don't agree with that mindset but hey, that's like my opinion, man. Too bad it's still a waiting game for a new try, the game really needs it. What has been said for 3.5 still sounds promising to me.

I've been playing other games on new accounts since I lost logins for multiple games and what not after a botched SSD update () ... and really they all have cheaters. It seems that fairplay in 2019 is what you make of it. Maybe something totally new has to be discovered to finally fix it, I dunno anymore. If you don't have to play them 24/7 you can still have fun, but it's everywhere now, really. Soooo hey, EAC. Well then!

Fully agree with OP. Let's add that the current system is lousy in more ways than worth posting about.

I love it, still the old version showed very few new people joined because of it and existing people will always find a way to abuse it, even with a 'random' assignment. There aren't enough new players, even less of those that stay. A RAF system would be nice.. but first and foremost finding a way to attract new recruits en masse would be great.

The subject / issue always held the game back more than anything else. Not many people will remember the few days APB was completely hacker free. Never seen so many happy silvers and terrible playing re-rolls. GM got fired though, lol. After that things went back to normal, APB normal. Oh well. Just APB things.

Having seen the difference in developing with v3 and v4 of the engine ... an update from an even older version to 3.5 must be quite something. Anyway we'll hear whenever. Which is fine. Keeping track of development and writing detailed update news (actual interesting info) would be a workload in itself.

At least there is some momentum now. Fighting cheaters is no fun for fair players (the whole point of cheating online). But yeah, taking months to remove some of the most idiotic cheaters after (intense, I assume, lol) discussions with BattlEye ... that's not nearly fast enough. But.... at least there is some momentum now. So a thank you is in order here,. So thanks for that. When they are done with the update a bit more active approach towards the most idiotic cheaters would be nice. Alternatively Matt could have added optional auto-aim / trigger bots for everyone, might be a faster fix. Adding it to the pile, stupid trolls and their cheater buddies.

Still have an older alienware lappy ... people can still be jelly / hating when it's pulled out. That thing was faster than most desktops back in the day.

ohrlly? you might be playing a different game then Anyway... if we had a couple of districts going I guess people would complain way less, still complain for sure, but you could switch... it's partly the low pop because it basically means you cannot avoid these pleasant fellows even with them being low in numbers player-base wise. I mean it must be fine if you are closeting, nice practice and all but for anyone playing clean it gets a bit much to have these people and the closeters. Not much fun. Exactly the goal of these pleasant fellows as well. Just bad for the game these few obvious trolls. [lol] Did came here today because some ehm... premium video sites saying a pass was changed though. ... Funny OP.[/lol]
