  1. it really is not that hard to buy ammo twice per session, i manage to do it every time i swap weapons/between each match. and to the most main weapons are at 0 ammo now? well so what? go to a joker ammo box and spend 3 minutes to fully ressuply literally every type of ammo in the game, its again, not that hard. im even open to having the broken system reimplemented but it should cost more to be automatically resupplies as opposed to doing it yourself. This is either a bug, or an intentional regression to the original ammo resupply mechanic; LO needs to clarify, because what was mentioned in the patch notes does not linguistically entail what we see in-game. Ammo "management" was never fun or useful, and as a money sink it works fine to resupply every time you die; ultimately games are meant to be fun, and the way this mechanic is currently working (and the way it was originally implemented by RTW) is NOT fun. There is no balance argument to be made here.
  2. i have literally never managed to get to 0 ammo, it really isnt that hard, and if it is maybe you should try fortnite It happens frequently when you're running OSMAW/OPGL all day, and most of my main weapons are at 0 ammo now because of how the system has been for the last couple of years; maybe you should discuss the point rather than insulting me.
  3. The old system was fine, and it was itself a fix for what SKay posted above; the game used to be like this originally, and it was NOT fun. Do you really honestly enjoy spawning into an opposed mission with literally 0 ammo because you didn't check your locker beforehand?
  4. holy moly that's some fast reverse speed, maybe i'll actually buy myself one It also has a raised suspension, and can walk the dinosaur in reverse
  5. The cooldown timer difference is just about the only thing that one could argue is truly P2W about APB; from car mods to character mods, the difference between the cooldowns is enough that Premium players could conceivable have an "unfair" advantage. World of Warships has "Premium consumables", which have a lower cooldown and give you an extra charge over the regular consumable, but you don't have to be a Premium account to acquire or use them; the Premium consumables are attainable with in-game (and real) currency. As someone who's had Premium in APB for a very very long time, playing without it is almost painful; let non-Premium players have the same cooldowns as Premium!
  6. They didn't inform LO in any way, and you had to figure it out yourselves? Top-tier service provider. I would prefer this not to happen, should it come to pass; for years Vivox was disabled on my PC because it introduced mouse lag, but eventually that stopped happening and I started using it again. For the years that it was disabled, my friends and I would just use Ventrilo or Teamspeak, and now with Discord (or PS/Xbox party chat), there are even more options; in-game chat is more of an annoyance and novelty than strictly necessary, IMO, but don't take my word for it.
  7. why doesn't your forum title have something to do with macho man in it?
  8. Yyyep, the RoF buff to the base LCR has really turned Old Glory into something amazing; I haven't used my PR1 yet to compare, but given how the Old Glory feels, I don't expect it to be too bad. The 'Old Glory' was sold on Armas as well, but only very briefly Sold twice in limited sales a few years back. I would have agreed with you before, but right now, the Old Glory is very competitive with the CR762.
  9. I tested LCR Old Glory against a friend using the STAR 556 with IR3 for maximum RoF slowdown; the 556 still has a much higher RoF with IR3 than the Old Glory. Old Glory definitely feels better than it did before, though, which I'm totally fine with.
  10. The role description doesn't mention anything about "pistols" specifically.
  11. Just want to say thanks from the bottom of my heart for rescuing Descent; it was one of my favorite games back in the day.
  12. Last I'd heard that was still considered a bit iffy, and had been shelved. This was ages ago of course, and it was during a different point in the games history balance wise. With different people making those calls. So I suppose it isn't too shocking someone else who came along later had a different opinion on it. Per Revoe, in 2013: It was only sold twice because of the reservations about it, but clearly it is not up to par when compared to some other weapons that were released later. It was also balanced initially around the lack of damage dropoff, so it was always 5STK.
  13. The LCR was introduced because it's literally how the STAR was in RTW, and players wanted the RTW STAR back (including myself). There is a reason G1 changed the STAR into the 556 variant for Reloaded, however, and that's because the LCR is not as versatile as the N-TEC. That said, Old Glory is amazing and anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
  14. New weapon, concrete progress on engine upgrade, and a weapons balance pass ALL SO SOON
  15. Before there were threat segregated districts, there were districts with no threat lock or association. Anybody and everybody joined whatever district had the most players in it; you saw threat 15 and threat 1. Providing a locked area for the lowest threat players to only play against each other does not incentivize them to improve or provide the kind of opposition that would facilitate improvement. Additionally, the 50v50 districts allowed for a greater diversity of opposition, and the limit on mission sizes made diverse threat teams struggle more than they might since more backup cannot be called. As a new player, it never bothered me to be playing people vastly more skilled because playing against them I learned more about the game. Remove segregation and increase mission sizes!
  16. LCR Old Glory might be my favorite gun in the game. C'mon LO, release Old Glory PR2 with CJ3 Euryale/Medusa seem to be the most popular. I rarely see people using N-SSW; another underrated gun, IMO
  17. That isn't a bypass, that's literally the method by which you obtain the 4 slot Fresno. Didn't realize the unlock came with the lease; counterintuitive, though
  18. That's fine; I'm totally in support of more progression rewards. Just wanted to let everyone know there used to be (and may still be) a way to get it without the need to save up oodles of JT.
  19. There used to be a bypass for acquiring the 4 slot Fresno; I won and redeemed a 365 day lease for the 4 slot from a JMB, and it unlocked the option to permanently purchase one for $1500. Not sure if this still works, but worth a try.
