Finally, we've waited for so long I was waiting for ogre to finally have the same damage stats as nfas like it did before, it was so bad after the lo changes Also on the spreadsheet below the topic, is it me or the spread values are off? It shows that jg and nfas ans ogre got the same spread, but that doesn't seem right, as far as i know the ogre has insane spread and nfas has rather large spread, but certainly not the same as jg

  3. im gonna be that annoying guy here but i disagree: High latency is not annoying, having high packet loss and an unstable network is, i played apb from Reunion Island for 5 years with 230ms but 0packet loss at all times (with my ping pretty much never fluctuating more than 3-5ms) No one were able to tell that i play with such a high ping due to me having a very stable connection and thus no teleports or weird warps. tldr: unstable internet and packet loss causes, high ping and teleports, but high ping is not the main cause.

Welcome to the forums mate, here you will see the most dedicated APB fans, sadly that doesn't necessarily mean positivity all the time, but more like honest and in depth discussions about the game, oh yeah also, most of us barely play the game anymore, but still follow the apb news every day. OP, i don't even remotely see how you can compare both guns ACT has a range that goes from 0 to 70meters SS has a 0-23 meters range ACT kills in 4 shots SS kills in 3 ACT is a long range pistol, fires one bullet at the time. SS is a shotgun, it has spread, so the further you are the harder it is to kill due to pellet spread. ACT kills in 1.5 seconds and has somewhat slow bloom recovery. SS Kills in 1.02 seconds and pretty much has no bloom. And you tell me those guns are similar? What kind of drink you had while making this topic, those guns have no resemblance whatsoever other than they're both secondaries

  12. Oh, i was about to make the same post i checked every day and i didn't get the skin activity once and that skin is one of the things i want the most in that event. I usually finish all the achievements of the events i do, but when RNG is involved and i just happen to not be lucky, it is really frustrating.
  13. APB Was always capped at 101 before, because going higher would cause physics issues, as physics of APB are tied to the Framerate, it was already very bad, when we did the switch to 101fps to 144 So i belive that the reason the game is capped is more than just framerates.

  17. this, i still don't understand why they kept those weird mechanics, they literally just fucked up shotguns Ogre went from okay to trash tier Nfas when from okay to OP Dow stayed somewhat the same JG when from top tier to trash tier Same goes for CSG Shredder is just uh, yeah, i don't know. Strife was changed while it definitely didn't need any tweaks. Also im sorry, but everyone should stop comparing the oblivion to ISSR series, it's not oblivion that's too weak(though,i'd say it needs the mobility penalty removed) , it's ISSR that's too strong. Don't use a weapon that's overly strong as a baseline, that's how you achieve power creep, ISSR is fine as it is for anti personal use, but it's just way too versatile, it can kill fast, at any range, it's light, destroy cars, ammo efficient, and can be used from a car window, maybe it's a hard gun to learn, sure, but it doesn't change that it just does too much.
  18. i didn't even know that exploite protection was a thing though, if the game lags because of that, it's probably more to the devs to make their games not trigger this
