  1. Not necessarily pay to win as guns don't always make you win. It's pay for advantages, and those advantages aren't always the winning factor. It's basically this^
  2. Isn't this more of an issue with the oscar itself? The Joker carbine scroll-wheeling is way less efficient than it is with the oscar.
  3. Citadel's having issue's too. Unless BattlEye is kicking me for being too good. And I'm trash.
  4. Valzipram Tablets makes you really slippery, when a car comes at you at a decent speed, you'll probably be pushed to the side and not die. People that use Valzipram Tablets don't die cause of vehicles, it's not as useful as it used to be, especially with these pesky remote detonator people who don't care if they run you over or not. They just want to press that one button to make their car go boom. I'm one of those pesky people, apologies in advance.
  5. I found that just typing directions is the best you can do when communicating with teammates. Sometimes they don't understand though, and that creates confusion and sometimes possibly a death. A recent unfortunate event involved in me typing "SW", in where my teammate repeats the same word with a question mark behind it, leading to his death. Me trying to explain it eventually lead to my death as well. The conclusion is that communication is key to victory, but we have no decent way of doing so with randoms yet.
  6. Personally I think the regular Nfas is actually worse than the ogre, but that's my personal opinion. Neither need nerfing however, not when the Yukon kills as fast as an NFAS, and it's a secondary. Just so you know, I do use a Yukon.
  7. Depends really, some people stick to to the good ol' classic HL and CA, but you can spice it up a little bit. Clotting agent III for CQC and mainly FC. Clotting Agent II for Financial sometimes but especially for WF. Mainly when the enemy uses an HVR. Honestly unless you're specializing on movement with a secondary pistol I wouldn't pick fragile, CA has little to no competition, which can be considered a balance issue. However, the blue mods can be swapped according to the situation you're facing. Valzipram Tablets is the good ol' "haha nope lol" when it comes to being run over by cars. Happy Landings III is just a general good modification to have, especially when the enemy is using car surfer for no good reason and forgets about jumping off a 3m building can damage you, and lose the trade. Many people actually use car surfer for no good reason. If you're using a close range weapon as your main, there's not much to having car surfer on you, car surfer excels best when people are running in vehicles, or when you're maining an anti-vehicle weapon. Negotiable use for car surfer is when you're using a medium to long range weapon.
  8. Huge performance issue's. Well, I was playing on a craptop so that's inevitable, but I used to be able to play on this thing without too much issue's, but that changed with the newest patch. Meaning I perform worse at the cost of having no cheaters. I guess it's something.
  9. That's unfortunate, I was kind of interested in using the vehicles from APB for other games, as APB really gives me a lot of freedom when it comes to customizing vehicles.
  10. I think you'll be safe, I've yet to see a case of overwolf and teamspeak 3 triggering Fairfight or BattlEye. Source: Other games that have BattlEye, and no issue's were found.
  11. If there's anything I really wanna see back, it's that extremely annoying siren. The boomer DL-5 Noisemaker. That one is gone right? I haven't really seen an option to buy it anywhere. For immersive role playing purposes only. Edit: Did some research and found this. Does the Light 'em up mega pack contain the annoying siren? https://www.gamersfirst.com/marketplace/ingame/product_details.php?storetype=g1c&gameID=20&catID=64&subcatID=67&productId=2669 Can anyone confirm this? Edit two: The Light 'em up mega pack does contain the Boomer-5 DL. However, the Rotary Police Lights Vegas/Fresno contains it aswell, and is a bit cheaper. https://www.gamersfirst.com/marketplace/ingame/product_details.php?storetype=g1c&gameID=20&catID=64&subcatID=67&productId=2678
  12. You forgot the "X IS STILL CHEATING CMON BATTLEYE!" Either way, I'm really hyped.
  13. Considering FF has banned people unfairly according to Matt Scott, I wouldn't really mention it without knowing the person was obviously cheating in the past. Not only that, but everyone deserves a second chance in my eyes, those who actually cheated have hopefully realized how detrimental cheating is to a game. What I am looking forward to is how the godlike players right now who are blatantly cheating suddenly become much worse.
  14. And unfortunately the playerbase is still too small to keep these newer players and give them a fair match. You make valid statements but at this state of the game you make the game easier so people are more inclined to stay, it's not about how hard we struggled. It's about how we can make newer players stay, will lowering rank requirements for modifications help with that? Maybe. Again, it's not about how game-breaking these new modifications are, they're minor changes. But what matters is that lower ranked people can't use 'em, and they're locked away. It's because of that simple fact that they're locked to higher levels, people start to think they're the most OP. Car surfer is useful but it's overrated, I still see high-ranked players jump off buildings that give them fall-damage, losing the 1v1. You can tell a newer player this, or let him experience it. Chances are the latter will prove it better to him. It's only one modification, I know. But it's the most controversial one. There's the argument that Joker tickets exist for that reason, but JT's are locked away in FC rewarding only a small amount of JT's for being there, and nobody has ever talked about what a waste it is to spend JT's on car mods/character modifications. You could argue that they should increase the JT distribution, but that would devalue the amount of time people have spent there. Problem is that because of all the struggles, people are less inclined to stay. If you ask for source, I believe the player population should tell you enough. You can say cheating is a very detrimental factor to this, but it's not the only one. The way I see it, the big 3 factors right now that need definitive improvement is: Matchmaking, anti-cheat, and giving everyone a chance for the same modifications aka Equality. You can't give everyone a fair fight if there are no players to give them a fair match. No underestimating happening here, just looking at the state of the game in a objective point of view. I'm discussion this with you because you bring up valid points, and would like to hear your opinion of this. So just for argument's sake let's say. True, the tutorial is bad, I had to look up what armored engine III does. But this is just a bigger improvement to the main issue at hand. Are players inclined to stay? In my eyes, the game is unfair to newer players. And BattlEye solely, won't fix this.
  15. Believe me criminals, you're not missing out on not being able to use LTL weapons. I like that there are differences between enforcers and criminals, and it should be kept that way. Alternatively, imagine us being able to ramraid. It just doesn't feel right, right? That's the same stance enforcers have on criminals being able to use stun guns. Now about using flamethrowers, there's already fire. Just use a blowtorch if you really wanna burn someone.
  16. Fight club is still somewhat do-able, not saying you don't meet any hackers there as they show up pretty often, but it's just mindless shooting most of the time. You also get the chance to t-bag the hacker before dying to two more enemies.
  17. I liked it. "x has entered the district" made me feel good. However, there's a lot that needs to be fixed first. While we've all adapted to the NTEC-meta, or try to it does not mean it's balanced, and when introducing a threat system where a single loss can mean a dethreat, I'd rather not have it implemented yet. It's a neat feature though, I'd love to see it back one day. I thought more of adding a new threat above gold, so for example: Trainee / Green < Bronze < Silver < Gold < [new] here but we'll need more players for that, as it locks those high-ranked players out of the silver districts. This not only pleases the silvers, but will really tell who's a good gold, and who's a gold after a lucky streak of winning three missions in a row for example. But first, balancing, and before that, BattlEye.
  18. Removing the rank requirement for modifications entirely might be a bit too much, but lowering the requirements to R80-100 would certainly not be handing it on a silver platter. I don't think weapons need to be changed though, those can stay like that. It's also a good marketing strategy for people to buy on the Armas marketplace as it's an alternative to grinding which many prefer. Car modifications and character modifications however don't need to have such a high rank requirement. Leaving aside that the FC's are pretty overwhelming for newer players, That's 350 each week you can spend on for one modification which you have to refill as well for each week should you really like it, trying a different one out is also impossible, because you can't afford it unless you grind the FC's, which newer players shouldn't do as they should focus on leveling their ranking. Rank 80 - 100 still takes a fair amount without premium, gives the players a chance to learn about the game before reaching said rank, while giving high-ranked players a chance to sell modifications that they don't use or have doubles of.
  19. Oh dear I forgot about the legitimate players that got banned. Sorry!
  20. I'd definitely use it, we're free to use up to SEVEN (7) That's quite a lot of images we can use as long as they're within the bounds. It would be a cool to have it updated, then we can all run around with these signatures, and you'd maybe feel good about contributing to the forums.
  21. BattlEye is definitely one of the best anti-cheats there is, you can't complain to LO for implementing what's one of the best. We should be grateful their first priority is an anti cheat, closely followed by server improvements. There'll always be cheaters, but this'll keep most of them away, and some of the die hard cheaters for a long while. (Hopefully, I don't know how alive the cheating community for APB is, and I'm better off not knowing.) They're also keeping FF for what it's worth, so they can't improve anymore. But we'll see and hang tight to see what this gives. Either way a lot of players from my community are waiting for the anti-cheat to be implemented and will then continue to advertise the game. Make sure to do the same, let's revive the game that refuses to die.
  22. It's a good test to see what the cheaters are going to do. A. Go back to their old ways and start cheating again because others are doing it. B. Realize that cheaters in fact ruin games and just suck it up and start polishing up their nonexistent skills. C. None of the above. (Fill in if you want.)
  23. I don't call Alig just an Alig. I call it Mr. Alig, for it deserves that title. Just the horrifying screeches of death the gun produces when firing at any 4-wheeled object makes any vehicle leak their oil. Some earlier than others. Except the dumptruck, he just does not give a damn, about anything.
