  1. Nowhere else, that's what I'm referencing at. Servers are up, by the way. (Citadel EU)
  2. Aside from it being during peak hours, announcing something 5 minutes in advance is really unprofessional. Could be an emergency shutdown I guess.
  3. For advertising purposes, maybe this is important. Although I'd rather have some famous people stream this game so we get newer players but for those newer players to stay we might need better matchmaking, and a few other things worked on first.
  4. Not informing yourself when you can is your fault.
  5. I'm in awe MattScott. You've listened to us again and again and communicated with us properly about a lot of issues this game has. For some time now, I'm starting to believe you're not just some guys with suits on all the time, but an actual team that cares.
  6. It's clear that LO did the "Try out now for free" option prior to purchase for a hefty 50% off if purchased in two days. Maybe they had premium too.
  7. I think at this point you just need to make a thread in the suggestions that compiles a full list of things that you want. I understand the need for new things, but maybe you should keep it in one thread and where it actually belongs.
  8. Not anything specific, but The Hidden Menace is an absolute mess. The investigation points are extremely long, always at a camp spot cause they're together, and should you manage to do the points which are the longest in-game, you still have to defuse the same spots after. Now that's easy to avoid, just abandon the mission. But there are times you immediately get opposition, and that's where the fun ends. This used to be a do-able mission before the spawn revamp, but now it's extremely hard to pull off. And somehow you always get the strongest opposition during this mission.
  9. The Yukon is the strongest secondary you can get to make up for your close-range capabilities. If you can buy all three of the UL3's, you're probably not far off of being able to own a Yukon. Otherwise, an excellent secondary is still the Sas PDW. Pretty underrated gun. Did I tell you to get a Yukon yet? The more people abuse this weapon, the higher the chances are that LO will balance this gun out.
  10. If it would make low yields seem more balanced, removing their radius is the only nerf that wouldn't destroy these things, it would make nade-sniping seem even more skillfull, so yeah that should work. An alternative of nerf x and y is just buffing x and y, but that doesn't apply to everything. I don't think grenades are on the big list of things that really need to be nerfed, but it could be low priority I guess. Because some things are just broken. I'm well aware that I use it myself, but hey, improvise, adapt, overcome. Or just use the same weapon as them.
  11. Why do you think people dethreat in the first place? Because they don't wanna play against the competitive players, they'd rather noobstomp on newer players who they can own. If you let people decide the threat they can be, you're just removing the work they do in dethreating.
  12. Depends on how you view percussions, percussions are the type to explode instantly on impact, meaning you can make an immediate entrance by throwing a nade at a corner, which does not signalize the enemy because of no sound occurring , or more commonly known as a finishing move. Pretty dirty combo with an HVR. The low-explosion time on low-yields are in that regard comparable to percussions, with one going off sooner than the other. By personal experience some people really enjoy the low-explosion time on low-yields, and could use these as an alternative. If you're referring to the nade-throwing however.. I think being able to snipe people with grenades isn't imbalanced either, if it's from far away you can see the grenades coming. Do note this requires quite some experience with these nades. Lastly I disagree with low-yields being the default, I've seen a healthy mix of concussions, percussions and low yields. The regular frag nades might not see as much spotlight other than the newer players who unlock these first or people just sticking with them, but I don't think low-yield is the default. You could argue that people don't know any better, but if it really were that imbalanced, people would use low-yields all the time. It's a situation of learning to adapt, changing the grenade count from 3 to 2 would do nothing more than to stop grenade-spamming, which is a situation of not sitting at the same spot over and over, and seems like a rushed idea of not really knowing how to balance something that isn't in my eyes broken.
  13. The game has already changed plenty, I feel like you guys forgot about all the huge changes in the past. Halving TTK's was a huge change. APB's meta might change with the balance update, but it'll still be the game you love regardless, judging by the few game-changing patches we've had.
  14. I don't think nerfing the low yield grenades solely will lead to much balance. Much of the issue's you mentioned such as spamming grenades can be done with any type of grenade, not just the low-yield. Should the low-yield get nerfed to two, there's little to no point in using low yields over percussions. If you're doing it for the low explosion time, percussions, if you're doing it for the damage. Frags. The low-yield is a good mix of both the aforementioned grenades. If you're complaining about grenade spam being too good with low-yields then you merely have to stop sitting at the same spot for an extended time or throw nades back. People who spam grenades are probably sitting at one spot or close to their ammo box. Personally I think grenades are in a good spot, you've got multiple variations and to each their own.
  15. The situation you described is really one of the few instances a blowtorch really is a game changer. Hold the truck is a very old mission and when G1 implemented these new modifications they obviously did not think once about how it would impact the game. So to answer your question, I believe the answer is to accept your defeat, and hope they change this mission in the future. Running was always considered a dishonorable move, but when the objective is to run, you can't really do much else. Especially since car surfer and blowtorch are locked behind R195, which gives higher-ranked people a definite advantage. You could argue that there's the joker store for that, but that's not really a solution.
  16. Truly the most important changes are being prioritized here in general discussion.
  17. That's because waterfront usually is a "defenders wins the round" map. Now that may sound common in Financial too, but Waterfront takes it to the next level where points can be seen the moment you respawn. That's not all either, usually the points you have to attack are horrible camp spots, and that with the HVR/Ntec meta going strong right now it's a pretty hellish map. Clearly not everyone's cup of tea, nor is it mine.
  18. Alright I need opinions from the people that find true ogre OP or alternatively P2W. What in the heavens is OP about an NFAS that has a wind-up time exactly? This gun really excels only in surprise-attacks or corner popping, but that can be done with any gun. The regular NFAS is better than the ogre in my opinion.
  19. Going in solo in Financial or Waterfront is handicapping yourself when you could play in teams. If you yourself are a capable person and add people who are decent too you'll have friends all around the globe and should never go in solo again. Playing with a clan is also a common thing to do. Just don't venture in solo, I do this from time to time and always regret it. The moment matchmaking only pairs solo players against solo players, that's the moment you can go solo, but for now you might get paired up with people who don't know you and probably don't communicate versus a team that might be on discord and whatnot.
  20. P2W/Broken are two complete different things, and I think we're still fine on the "p2w scale." As for actual broken things, I guess you could say Yukon technically is.
  21. A maid outfit. Victorian maid, the typical cosplay maid outfit, pick your fancy. It's what APB didn't ask for, but what it needs. The males get a butler suit. There's just something special about maids/butlers being capable of shooting. Y'could argue it goes against the nature of Cops and Robbers, but I didn't see anyone complaining about the silly outfits they've already implemented.
  22. It does not have the same accuraccy as an OCA, god knows what G1 did, but it's really inaccurate from time to time and I can't tell you anything more than to try it out yourself and see what I mean. As for pay2win, it's a term that gets thrown at everything, and the meaning of it changes with every game. As far as I'm concerned, pay2win means an advantage that can't be countered by a non-paying player. This is not the case for legendary weapons, and especially not for the cap40. There's many ways to counter the cap40. The regular OCA, or even better a two slotted OCA being one of them. Cooling jacket will give you a smaller TTK, statistically speaking. You can argue that you can use CJ on a CAP40 too, but believe me on this, you're gonna want RSIII if you want to actually kill people. Weapons are one thing, but if the person doesn't have a certain amount of skill, it doesn't matter how much legendaries they have. See high ranked silver players that own an array of legendaries/Armas guns. They have the best weapons (best being subjective here) yet they're still just silver. Luckily you can't buy aim-assists on Armas, that's what I would consider pay2win. This is just my opinion of Pay2Win, and under these terms I find APB not Pay2Win, it's a freemium business that gives you advantages, but nothing that would allow a non-paying player to lose from a paying player.
  23. Last time I checked I saw 'em for 1.2M~ on the marketplace. And honestly the cap40 isn't even that good, it's accuraccy is a joke and unless you're standing in someone's face you're gonna miss a whole lot of bullets, even when aiming correctly. As for being able to shoot through cover, the few crates/random stuff it can shoot through really is more of a gimmick than anything else. I'd rather have the damage to vehicles cause this thing surprisingly doesn't do much to vehicles at all. I understand the point you're making though, but this gun is hardly pay2win as you can buy it off the auctionhouse, and a user who can shoot decently with an OCA outclasses this weapon by far. As mentioned before, you could argue it's an advantage, but it's not a 100% win once you have this gun. Hence it's not pay2win.
  24. I can understand the point of having multiple in-game accounts as I own a few myself, but what's the point of having multiple forum accounts? Just curiosity, as I don't see the point of having more than one. It doesn't impact the game, and your opinion should always be the same regardless of what account you're replying with.
  25. If you created those symbols yourself, you can duplicate/edit them, if they're not you can't. That's the simple rule. If you're implying you were the creator of them, but lost the credentials for the account that created them, you should be able to make 'em again. I'd rather not see people duplicate other peoples' work, regardless if they're gone or not.
