  1. High latnecy is bad for everyone, including the low latency players. The server delays the low latency player's hits if it thinks the high latency player shot first, but the high latency player has to shoot far in advance or the shots won't make it to the server before they die. It lets high latency players land hits on low latency players who have moved behind cover, but high latency players will always get hit behind cover due to their own movement delay.

  3. I see the error. I forgot to add +1 to the modifier cap. Corrected it. Still, Nano has the lowest bloom. The FBW can reach max bloom, but that's on it's last shot so you'll never fire at max bloom.
  4. I don't understand what your argument is. You said the nano has no bloom, which you are correct since it fully recovers it's bloom before firing the next shot. You also asked about the calculations for max bloom, which I provided. Here's the bloom per shot when fired at max rate of fire, for each of those pistols. Per Shot Modifier - (Fire Interval - Recovery Delay) * Recovery Per Second Colby .45 AP: 0.5 - (0.2 - 0.05) * 3 = 0.05 Obeya FBW: 0.2 - (0.2 - 0.1) * 1 = 0.1 FR0G series: 0.2 - (0.2 - 0.1) * 1 = 0.1 OCA Nano: 0.2 - (0.15 - 0) * 6 = -0.7 Since the Nano is negative, it means it fully recovers it's bloom. The Colby .45 blooms the slowest, the FBW and FR0G are tied for the fastest. Total bloom after a whole mag: Colby .45 AP (1.5) : 7 * 0.05 = 0.35 FR0G series (1.5): 10 * 0.1 = 1 Obeya FBW (1.5): on the 15th shot. (15 * 0.1 = 1.5)

  6. The whole reason G1 made the FBW the starting pistol was because nearly everyone was using it. Kinda weird that they didn't do the same for the N-TEC though.

  8. Then there's the RFP-9 with a 1.5s TTK. It blooms too much to land every shot, so the average ttk is much higher.

  10. Find the lowest signal free Wi-Fi connection in your area. Equip and OSCAR. Can't die if no one can hit you. taps head In all seriousness, try lowering your sensitivity. Most professional players play with low mouse sensitivity, like 6" or more to turn 90 degrees in game.

  12. I know what you mean. Pretty sure it's just the servers lagging. Here's what is currently displayed for server tickrate in the /latencytest. https://pastebin.com/0v54xXBV Every minute the server freezes for about 200ms. That's more than the time between 2 shots from an FBW or .45. If a player shoots at the start and end of the spike, it will look like they shot faster than the max rate of fire. I don't think this is something that can be fixed on the current engine. I could be misinterpreting the results and those spikes are actually my client. If someone from LO or SPCT could clarify that would be awesome. Even so, there's enough outliners that would cause the server to skip updates here and there.

  15. Because LO went with the cheapest server host they can find. The districts can't keep a stable 33ms, 30tps, even with only 1 player in the serer. They dropped Softlayer and went with Amazon. G1 tested a few and Amazon was the worst performing provider. Then LO switched again.

  17. I have, on multiple characters. It's why I can understand were the other person was coming from, but also know the trade offs and that overall it's annoying to rank.
  18. Stun grenades are a bit op since they can 1 shot stun, but you sacrifice your regular grenades so there's a trade off. PIG used to be op, but the reduction in stun damage balanced it out. NL9 is a bit OP compared to the other stun weapons since it can 3 shot stun up to 50M and deals 200HP damage a shot. It deals more HP damage than the lethal variant the 'Corsair' after 35M. But, I get what you mean since LTLs can't be modded. Even then, it's not the capabilities that are an issue, it's the long wait time after being stunned and then arrested. It's usually new players getting farmed so experienced players can unlock their cop stuff. I think the cop items like lights and clothing should unlock at a lower level.
  19. For me the problem with vehicles isn't that you can't shoot people inside them, it's that G1 added mechanics that heavily favor using vehicles. Way back, Criminals and Enforcers had separate car spawns. You couldn't spawn a car in the opposite faction's contact area. There were also some random spawners through the maps that were faction locked. This meant you had to be more cautious with your vehicle. Having it destroyed could mean being forced to walk. G1 removed this limitation, which made it way less of an issue to have your vehicle destroyed. Then came the R195 mods. Mobile spawner, blow torch, car surfer, and high burn fuel. Mobile spawner means no more bad spawns, and you get a vehicle at spawn. Blow torch allows you to out repair move AV weapons, at least long enough to get out of range. Car surfer lets you use heavy weapons from a moving vehicle. High burn fuel disables vehicle explosion damage, meaning there's no downside to staying next to your damaged vehicle.

    Check your GPU core clock while in game. If it's below 1500Mhz then it's GPU Boost dropping your clock, and you'll need to manually lock it with EVGA precision X, or use the precision X skin in MSI afterburner to get Kboost working on non EVGA GPUs.
  21. Server tickrate has nothing to do with my internet connection. Part of the problem is players with high ping are allowed to connect and ruin the experience for others. Looking through the in game latencytest, there's lots of instances where the server's frametime is higher than 33ms. Some outliners show over 40ms, there's even a few over 70ms. The tracert latency is relatively consistent, about 80ms on the last hop. The district latency is all over the place, between 100ms and 150ms so far. I've only looked at maybe 10% of the test. The servers are not running at 33ms (30tps) consistently.
  22. Yup. But at the same time, it would end up like PUBG with temp bans being thrown left and right if they listened to the majority of reports.
  23. One issue is we cannot use the in game report system to report players who are not online. I've seen players enable cheats then immediately get kicked from the server. I can report them at another time, but then the time of the report does not match up with the time they were cheating. I doubt LO is going to read every report, if they even log them to begin with.
  24. Still an issue. I noticed the server's ms going over 33ms. Sometimes 35ms, 36ms or so, with less than 40 players connected. In game latency is still not accurate. The latency value displayed in game is related to the total number of players online. Less than 40, it 1ms. In a full server, it's about 10ms-20ms for US East, 80ms for US West.
