Ive never liked these directive missions during events in apb or other games. Absolutely hate it how you have to play away from where everyone is gathered, against the common goal/mission. So you single your self out and the activities are always annoying and not fun. Be lucky and get a head shot while a char is carrying a barrel during sunset on a sunday. Since you want the reward, you go on these solo mission not because you enjoy them but for the reward. So the entire time you are actually having a terrible time. So when I tell people Ive grinded warframe for 400 hours, its not because I enjoyed every minute, its because I was grinding to get loot that would get me somewhere where I could finally be strong enough to. Granted we are talking about event activities and not warframe, but I feel the same about both. I hate the FC and /d events where you have to go away from your normal gameplay. I love asylum because its a simple $$ event. The more you play however the hell you wanna play, you get rewarded for it. Activities should be like that and a slight step above. Get 10 kills with smg, get 5 nade kills. Nothing too specific.

I remember the headless crap event being boring. Werent the /d dead with a day or two after the event started? I logged in only once for this event. Played it and got some yellow mods, which are absolutely crap for the time I put in. The rewards are bad but I logged in because LO actually put in new content. I want to try and play once more in a full /d. Maybe the event will be more fun. I think rewards like skins and anything permanent (not titles) will make people log in (and is the way to go. F- joke tickets and titles). But if what OP said is true, thats asking too much.

Have you upgraded/changed anything on the harware side? Im thinking maybe I morphed 2 PCs into one and there mightve been a hardware issue with the game. That mightve been resolved with that big patch. No idea, just a guess.

The event is really simple. The fog is just crap though. When I logged in I had no clue what to do. But fortunately, I do have a somewhat functioning brain so I went to where my team was gathered at. From there I got my bearings and found out what needed to be done. Within 5 min I knew what to do. Im not sure why people are complaining so much how they have no idea what to do. Perhaps these are greens and bronze threats talking? So the event is okay. Its not bad. I was in a /d with 50 pop total. I think it will be more fun in a maxed out /d. I hope the next time I log in, I can get a more populated /d. The fog really is crap. It makes the objectives hard to see and your team. It doesnt really add to the ambiance unless it was done better. But I understand you guys didnt have a whole lot of time to prepare this. I hear the rewards are jt and some stupid yellow mods. Those are absolutely worthless to me. But Im only playing the event because its something new. Unless the rewards were better, Id spend more time.

Over the years that Ive seen people say this have usually been kids. Just cause I have a job does not mean Ima buy a $100 ingame weapon. Im not an idiot and I value money. Im not gonna waste money buying a $30 weapon but if its on sale for $15, its just low enough for me to buy. It has nothing to do with how poor or rich I am. Its no wonder the average North American is $20k in debt (excluding mortgages). At least thats what I read a long time ago.

Hi, I was mentioned here, thats cool forum feature. I have bad news. I had this issue after LO bought the game. I decided to try out apb again some time after the acquisition and I got the DEP error. I had never gotten any errors during G1s time so it was odd. I googled and tried different things but nothing worked. I submitted a ticket to support and waited I dunno over a month or so. They need to get their prioritized straight. People QQing about getting their banned accounts unbanned should have lower priority than people having issues running the game. Anyway, I waited a long time. Uninstalled the game, installed again, ran as admin, everything. Nothing worked. Its not until they released the first major patch was I magically able to run the game. They changed something that finally made it run. To this day I have no idea what the problem was. I was really frustrated with LO, I waited over a month and couldnt even run the game. AFter the patch, I closed the ticket and never looked back. For you, I suggest opening a ticket ASAP and obviously making a detail report with a screenshot that you already attached, in simple English, for support. Only they can help you do steps we wouldnt know to try. Maybe install on a different drive other than C?

Wow. Im sad to say this but this has been such a disappointment. The bottom two points might not have been integrated with the new changes. Since Matt said only a lil has been done so far 1) From the new layout, I cant see all my prem codes that have been rotting away for years. I have to go thru the old layout to see my codes. 2) My account purchase history doesnt show my previous weapon purchases, I have to go to the old layout. 3) Like everyone mentioned, no timer for prem, Im sure you guys forgot. 4) Rewards 5) Where did the link to ARMAS on the forum go? Now I have to google "apb armas" to get there Biggest disappointment of all are the prices. I dont shop often, its been years but dam is everything still very expensive. I can comfortably say that my 5k g1c will keep rotting until the prices come down. Its sad but I PREFER Tiggs flash/random 50% off sales. I bought majority of the weapons that way. Ive included a screenshot. THESE ARE REASONABLE PRICES!! This is in addition to buying those boxes that gave the act44 and a choice of a primary. These are Char bound. You can see the NTEC is more expensive now than when I bought it at full price. Its now 2,799 g1c.

$5 a weapon is reasonable, account bound maybe $10?

Although I agree with Matt that it adds no values, I wanted to know that feminine features (um forum censors this and not swearing?), nipples and butts are allowed right? Im assuming so because that has been the case forever now. Just no holes.

I highly doubt this but could you please add perma OSMAW and CCG? Id buy both in a fart beat.

To counter the + of this mod, take out - of other mods to balance everything out

How does hiding the problem fix it? The issue is matchmaking isnt it? Why hide threat? I liked it old school when you saw detailed threat lvls. I would get an idea if I should prepare to get my butt kicked, have a good match or face plebs.

Move all the contacts to one /d. Have Fin for a few hours and have water for a few hours daily. That way everyone can play together.

I hate the reloaded name. To me, it will always be APB and RTW. A lot of my oldest/first and best memories of APB are when those two names were around.

When LO got the game I was really happy, started posting a lot here as well. Then the interest went down and well, now I hardly post. Im bcak to the old routine, visit the forum, check pinned topics if there is a new patch or something and then leave. I really wish they didnt waste time on weapon balance. Hit reg was the only problem for shotties and hvr was op. I never cared abou the hvr but its balance was not paramount. We finally have a new event, so I cant wait for that.

Wouldnt it be cool for pve if all the ai were turned into zombies that would attack you? With the current coding the AI is missing the I, so they sorta are zombies. Matt, please, JT are useless unless you add in perma weapons. When I hear JT and title rewards, they are of no value.

After the new engine update, I really hope adding content will become a breeze. Because this game seriously needs new missions, maybe cutscenes with contacts, districts. This is obviously in conjunction with mm fixing. I really miss those oversized matches we used to get when the new threat or whatever was introduced. I remember you could keep calling backup and it wouldnt stop. So we ended up getting 16vs16 matches. It was one sided and broken but I seriously enjoyed it. It really did feel like crims vs enfs. Ive mentioned a few times before, so many firefights on different levels (roofs, alley ways and roads) around the objective. It was glorious.

BR is very boring but Ive never played a single BR mode or a game. The way Matt puts it, I pray he actually makes it fun. Im patiently waiting to see how it turns out, just like the engine update. I just hope its not half assed or simple changes thrown here and there. Seeing how they have messed up things recently and saying they got excited and rushed it gets me worried. Also, Ill take BR over useless new contacts any day. How the hell are people fine with wanting new contacts when you just gotta grind the same dam missions over and over again. Thats not new content at all.

I started playing planet side 2 again. Its boring but its the only game I feel like playing. Dam gaming menopause.

I suggested this a million times when they released a fail atempt of Chaos /d or whatever it was. Look at Planetside 2 for example. Huge map with specific POIs where people gather and fight.

Its really stupid if people spend rl $ so they can gamble and then sell leg on marketplace. At one single time, I think my top was $12 mil. Ive earned over $30 mil over 4 or so years ago when I was active ingame. I was one of the smart ones who bought legendaries from marketplace and sold them thru mailing system (I reinvested all that money into this game though). It was so frikkin easy to make money. fyi I cant make themes or symbols for crap. Although I did sell themes, mine were priced at $1000 each, they were no where close to the bulk of my income. If you have talent and can make themes or symbols, making over $100 mil by now is a cake walk. Im sure there are many people with over that amount in apb. Even the claimed $500 mil does not seem out of the ordinary.

Best moment in your life probably, but not in APB history.
