Can confirm SantaHat1 is a layer yes. But since someone can't take a joke let's use our heads. AFAICT all Reward 1 are top row and all Reward 2 bottom row. Using that assumption and the assumption that some like to order things with the top being 1st we can assume that SantaHat1 is the top row reward and SH2 is bottom. But you know what? Now I'm upset I completely agree that LO should have been a little bit more descriptive or helpful with this simple names under the pictures or even a better description (Santa Hat Left/Right) would have helped and you know what - how come some rewards and items (I'm talking all over the game not just this event) do have previews in game but others don't? I'm looking at Speedball's JT stuff versus Wilde etc. For that matter we should be able to preview everything just like in the Marketplace. ARMAs is a huge let down in this regard.

Yiff Yes! No. We discussed this in the Butcher skin thread but I'll repeat that I am all for unlocking of exclusive content but understand why the snowflakes don't want to melt. But to me APB is about customisation not exclusivity - it is not how many items/title/guns/kits you have it is about how you use them. You said yourself how much of a bane it was to buy a 3999G1C pack just for a single pair of shoes, we've all done it, and so what LO is doing is for the good of us - giving us the chance to cherry-pick our gear at their expense. This is a good thing for us.

This.png I can't find the video but they did a comparison ages ago in online games using a Battlefield game and the "advantages" of having high/low ping don't really come in until the player is experiencing something like 800ms+. Of course it also depends on other factors, but the way the difference between 80ms and 180ms is being described it is simply not the case. Also that ice-skatting effect can be made using Kevlar III which surprisingly enough gives the player more HP. (HP hacks? or Aliens? We'll never know.)

If only there was a support option for "This player killed me and I'm upset over it." Player still gets to go through the cathartic process of reporting someone but it ends up in the trash where it belongs and doesn't clog up the queue. This is why the /report command was so useful. Not for what it made Fair-Fight do but for endorphin release it gave those using the tool dis-proportionally.

Nope. All wrong we've learned nothing from the shotfun changes. Don't screw with weapon stats. If you want players to use certain guns more make them earn JTs for kills with them or something, messing with the meta just gets all the golds' nickers in a bunch and we don't want that to happen again.

I'd like a free skin but understand why the winners would want to keep is exclusive but I missed all the events due to being in the wrong hemisphere and the talk here about the game only being for "pro-players and hackers" stopped any attempts at killing my circadian rhythm in order to log in during an event time. My suggestion is to just make it available next year it's what I liked about the G1 events yes they were boring repeats every year but every year was a chance for a filthy casual like me to earn some rewards I missed out on the previous year. My other suggestion is to knock off the whole "winner takes all" stuff, the Gun Game/Butcher/12 Deaths of Christmas all had the same problem with first place being held only by the "pro players and hackers" even when they had already gotten their exclusive gift people just like to be on top so go with what other events had and go for a progression/rank system like with the Epidemic/Halloween stuff, rewards need to go to the losers too because this is APB and people have to lose in order for others to win, so we all should get something for playing - this is one thing the Epidemic Event lost - no reward for losing and it had 2 teams losing instead of the usual 1. First place/Winner should still get a healthy chuck of reward but leave some for the peasants who will probably never get to the top of the scoreboard for [insert whatever reason here].
