  1. I thought this was going to be about opening up the fully made and playable areas with functioning ladders and doors that G1 blocked off for whatever reason down by the docks.
  2. I think the crashes are due to friend invites based on a few other threads that have popped up. Someone might be trying to send you a friend request.
  3. That random rate of fire buff on the OCA just came outta nowhere. It's nearly all I see in Asylum these days. If that change is reverted then it should be on par with the Cap40 again. Always loved the clapping sound of the Cap40
  4. Welp, tested the Showstopper and I love the idea of it, but along with the other shotguns it's a lil bugged right now. 32 direct hits will make an unmodded Vegas smoke. You guys using the right damage scale? Seems like shotguns are set up based on players having 100 health instead of 1000. About the Showstopper though, the picture had 3 variants of it, but I only received two in the mail. The plain one, and the one with the Showstopper Choke mod. Is there gonna be another version available at some point? All in all, despite the few little hiccups you guys had so far I'm loving the progress! Up until a few months ago when you took over I honestly never thought this game was going to change again before closing its doors. G1 was showing all the signs that they were gonna shut down. Then when I saw a pinned post titled "Open Letter to the APB:Reloaded Community" by a red name my heart sank for a second until I actually read it.
  5. The walls in the new mode will actually just be a flood of dogs. At the edges of the play area they stack and create a wall. Outside of that the city is just flooded with dogs up to the top of the wall. That is how damage will be dealt if you're outside the play area. When an area closes in, you see a tidal wave of dogs flowing in from down the street. All of their barking slowly turns into an ear bursting roar as the play area closes in.
  6. Water. Lots of water. A lot of what causes a hangover is dehydration.
  7. This kinda reminds me of how Quake Champions is now extremely hard to get into because all the old pros from Quake 3/Live are moving to Champions and getting matched up with newbies, though it's absolutely not intentional on their part while in APB it's done deliberately.
  8. It is a bad idea though. The game is balanced around every player having the same exact hitbox. If we had accurate hitboxes then smaller characters would have the advantage. Currently the only advantage smaller characters have is just their perceived size, which isn't really an advantage. Imagine trying to kill a midget at 90m while he has an hvr. That's what would happen if the hitboxes were accurate.
  9. Your stuff always gives me a really chill 80s vibe and I love it
  10. I really hope not. At this stage in the game's life it seems about 8 years too late to do that.
  11. This might sound like a stupid suggestion, but when I tried out APB on both Xbox and PS4 a while ago, neither the Vegas or the 4x4 version were able to pull off a wheelie with Nitro III like they can in the current game on PC. I sincerely hope that this isn't a feature that's being removed and I hope it was just done by accident. A large part of the appeal of the Vegas is that it can do wheelies and jump off of other cars. There have even been Vegas meets in the past that are centered around this car's ability to jump and do stunts. I'd really appreciate it if someone at LO could look into this
  12. I like it the way it is now. If someone is doing too good in a mission and completely stomping the op, it sorta balances that person out a little by letting anyone in the district kill them.
  13. Despite all the truly awful shit they've done to this game, they have also made a whole lot of improvements. Weapon skins, Asylum (even though it's still not finished), Tiptoe Birth Gumball and Lynette though they existed since RTW, just weren't in the actual game, increased jump height to what it is now, added a sweet Halloween event, etc. A lot of cool things happened while Mok was the creative director actually. He'd be the reason we got that Halloween event and the Growl. Hell in 2011 they even made the game look prettier than it already was before they swiftly destroyed it in 2013 and made it look worse than it did in 2010. And lastly, they kept the game running this long. If it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to play APB anymore. I strongly disagree with a LOT of their choices, but they did a lot of good things for the game. I still feel like the amount of bad things that happened outweighed the good though.
  14. I hope they don't fix the lvl 4 gas can's animation bug. It's like you pulled a damn transformer out of your pocket.
  15. Progress on Social being rebuilt for VRChat: Haven't been working on it much lately but it's been a really long time since I even mentioned it. Still gotta fix some broken textures and then attempt to optimize it. Only runs at about 60 fps on desktop mode in some areas, but it's using all dynamic lighting (for ease of editing) until I'm done working on it. Edit: I should also mention that someone already ported a 100% accurate version (With the exception of the sign on the Galleria saying VRChat instead of Realtime Worlds) with all the ambient sounds and correct textures. I'm more of making this one to my preferences so there's a few little easter eggs and details like the blimp flying around the map and a boat occasionally passing by the docks.. And there's just some other stuff that I can't seem to figure out, like what the hell happened to some of the UVs. Anyway, this one is still a LOT further along than Asylum. 16. I'd like to see the game go back to being called All Points Bulletin and just kick that "Reloaded" bit off the title. Reloaded Productions doesn't exist anymore so there's no reason to keep the name of the old studio tacked onto the title. I hope that whenever they alter the intro movie they take on the graffiti style for their logo like RTW, EA, Reloaded and G1 have done. I'd like to see their twist on these.
  17. 1st song, 5/10 Didn't really grab me and I don't really like those synths. Over all pretty generic, but I can see why someone would like it. Bonus song, Better, it had a pretty cool dark atmosphere to it. Last time I posted this video, the guy that posted after me didn't rate it and just posted his own song.
  18. I see you're improvising a walkie talkie as a mic, nice. How many drinks do you need tho? One of them appears to be Windex.
  19. I know you're looking for answers from the devs themselves, but I'd just like to say that after the engine upgrade, it's supposedly going to properly utilize your system's hardware. If you have more than a dual core processor, it'll currently only use two cores, but after the engine upgrade it should be able to use more of them to distribute the load a bit more, plus they said that there are a lot of optimizations that are only possible through the upgrade.
  20. True Ogre, just for the terrifying sound it makes. If we could get a pump shotty with the same gunshot sound that'd be awesome :3 It sounds like a more powerful version of the Strife's sound. Functionality-wise my favorite gun would probably be the JG. Good against cars and people if you're close enough. CJ3 doesn't seem to have much of a negative effect to the spread either so it can fire pretty quick. I still remember way back when it was the slow firing shotgun, and the CSG was Jesus.
  21. I'd like this if it said the name of the weapon right below the symbol.
  22. I was playing on Jericho last night and didn't experience any issues with rubber banding or anything, so whatever you guys are doing, it seems to be working! Didn't think to check my latency though
  23. I'd just continue using the JG, Strife, and Raptor 45 as I do now. DMR if I absolutely needed to snipe. Ogre for shits every once in a while.
  24. Speed and easy fluid precise movement is one of the main things that sets APB apart from other games. Lets not ruin that please? I want the game to improve, but without sacrificing the great feel it already has. Character movement is damn near perfect as-is and I don't want to get slowed down by getting shot. Anyone remember back when the old creative director Mok asked us what we thought about a sprint meter, and it was shot down harder than anything ever suggested by a dev? I actually felt kinda bad for him despite how bad of an idea it was. I'm just glad he asked before they went ahead and did it with no warning like they normally would. I wouldn't mind if we got animations of our characters flinching whenever we get hit though. That was a thing with the RTW beta if I remember correctly, but it was pretty broken and if you get sprayed with something that has a high fire rate your character pretty much snapped their spine from bending so far. Edit: Proof that the man himself is actually reading suggestions
