  1. My favorite one is the 4x4 included in the Rocker bundle, but that's mainly just because of the roof looks cool with the louvers on the rear window, and the grill is off of the 1971 'Cuda, which is my favorite muscle car in terms of looks.
  2. It would still be an unbelievable fuckload of time and effort to actually unlock it for free. Most people don't have that kind of patience and would rather pay on Armas. Plus it would only be one gun per role.
  3. If that's the case I want every gun I've ever bought refunded, they've all had stat changes at some point. But really, no. They don't owe us a refund and everything in this game is subject to change at any time. If you don't like that, then don't buy anything. The stat changes are kinda extreme, but when they see that I bet they'll reduce the penalty. Remember, this company is actually listening.
  4. I think they're in a pretty good spot right now. Also I noticed that every post disagreeing with op got downvoted once lol.
  5. It would be great if they added an alt skin that didn't look like shit too. Like just the basic grey gun metal, instead of looking like a kid went to town on it with a crayon.
  6. Yup, that's G1 for ya. Add a broken weapon, don't fix it to sell more boxes. Thank you for all of this info though! That stress test on Saturday was really fun. It was really nice seeing people doing missions stress-free without raging or spamming "cheater" in the district chat. Fun talking to the devs and GMs too.
  7. Actually on OTW during the stress test on Saturday, weapons with IR have a reduced rate of fire. I think the values they picked were a bit too extreme personally, but it seems like a step in the right direction. We just gotta provide feedback.
  8. 8/10, Nice, reminds me a lot of Mr. Oizo. This music video perfectly embodies 90s MTV
  9. Good job man, keep at it. You're beautiful and I believe in you. You can do it.
  10. Welcome to APB Don't worry about it, your teammate was just an idiot. Fighting higher level players is just something you're gonna have to put up with until they revamp the matchmaking after they release the engine upgrade. Don't be fooled though, unlike other MMOs being higher level doesn't put them at a significant advantage over you other than pure skill and experience. They may have more modifications and weapons unlocked, but they still have the same health and the weapons are in a somewhat balanced state right now, so the f2p guns are basically the same as the cash shop guns as far as balance goes. Most of them are reskins of the free weapons anyway. Also don't let the trash talking phase you.
  11. Jesus Crem de la Crime, that phrase still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Seems like its the only mission I get in Financial. Is there any way to avoid it? I remember people saying that pledging to certain contacts gets you different missions, or reduces the frequency of harder ones.
  12. It would probably help if you mentioned which song you would like. Just sayin, most theme creators would probably like to know what they're getting themselves into before taking on a deal.
  13. I'd love some bull bars for criminals too. Kinda like the NightRider kit for the Jericho was all armored up and looked like it'd be good for ramming, and how the Espacio got a plow. I'd love something like that for the Vegas and Fresno.
  14. Oh no, this forum is turning into Finnegans Wake. On topic: Yes it's safe to use the Advanced Launcher, but next time you have a question, look it up before asking
  15. lol that reminds me of back when you could get run over by your own car if it was sliding in the direction of the door you exit from.
  16. Talking about weight, Seiyo Espacio and Pionerr should be heaviest cars in the car, and can't barely push some cars like Vegas. Not to talk about the stupidly high HP of the Vegas. The Pioneer is great for pushing anything smaller than a dump truck or armored van. The Espacio does need some tweaking though. It's only FWD while the Pioneer is AWD and has limited firing angles for anyone in the back seats.
  17. @MattScott Just curious, has there been progress in finding the stuff you need for implementing the old login screen? I know the song was written for the game, so there shouldn't be any copyright junk to deal with. Certainly not top priority right now, but you got me excited dammit lol. And the game takes forever to launch... Actually I think I'd rather not know when exactly it's going to happen. This would be a very pleasant surprise to see upon starting up the game.
  18. Sure it wouldn't strain it much to just load your inventory, but it's trying to do that for 99 other people in that district as well, 249 others if your in a full Social District. I'm in favor of increasing that limit, but having an unlimited inventory is a bit unreasonable.
  19. Ha, I remember when they had the RTW districts. They pulled that off so poorly. Percs instantly blew up any vehicle, and some of the guns just didn't work right. Plus they had the crazy RTW recoil. At one point they changed it to the version without recoil and that was actually pretty enjoyable, but nades were still broken. Shotguns had really tight spread but there was no damage drop off so you could pretty much snipe with the JG.
  20. But not only on our end for our convenience of not having a massive inventory to scroll through, but every single item we own and its customization data is stored on their servers, and needs to be loaded when we open our inventory. Basically to avoid too much server strain, and the game client itself. Back when G1 was in charge and they were handing out inventory expansions, they said that the game has a hard limit on how many of each category of item the game can handle. So Weapons, Mods, Symbols, Vehicles, and Clothing all have separate limits that can not be changed. Some of us have hit that limit with they inventory expansions. If we were to use an expansion on that item type again, it wouldn't do anything because of that hard limit built into the game. But it was G1, so who knows, maybe they were lying and just didn't want to pay for more server space.
  21. I don't think you can buy inventory expansions though? Even if you can I fail to see how that's P2W. Don't get me wrong, I'd love more space, but that limit is there for a reason, and it isn't just to deliberately limit us from having stuff we want. If they could increase the limit then that would be great.
  22. How would you expect a revolver loaded with shotgun shells to look? To me it just looks like a beefy snub. Even if you don't like how it looks, at least it's functionally different than any other secondary.
  23. I made a thread about this on the old forums. I figured I'd bring it over. I just wanted to start this topic so we can round up everything wrong with the vehicles in one place. This is for the main functional and visual issues with vehicles. Feel free to contribute any problems you've noticed! 1. Suspension. There's two vehicles I can remember off the top of my head that have broken suspension systems. That would be the Vegas (not 4x4) and the Pioneer. They both used to sit higher than they do now and with the pioneer this isn't really a functional issue as much as it just looks stupid compared to how it used to look, and the front wheels clip with the fenders when turning. However with the Vegas, the broken suspension affects the over all handling of the car. It just handles like a brick on rollers and the slightest bump will send it airborne. Not totally game breaking but it would be nice if it was improved. This may be pushing it but I believe the Vegas handled a lot better back before G1 modified the driving physics. (Yes, back when you could roll a Fresno by turning too fast and when dumptrucks weren't completely unstoppable blocks and could be tipped over by a good direct side hit from a T-25) 2. Reverse. There's only one vehicle that I can think of that really suffers in reverse, and that's the poor Morai. It's a decent all around car, but as soon as you throw it into reverse you'd be better off pulling a Flintstones by shoving your feet through the floor and pushing it backwards yourself. If it's parked on a slight incline that you would be able to just back up over with any other vehicle, the Morai just will not move. It sputters and slides around on slopes and on flat land it's just extremely slow. If I remember correctly if the trunk is full of items, then good luck backing up at all. I think this may be a side effect of G1 converting it to a RWD from AWD. I don't think they took into account that making the front wheels not work anymore removed at least half of the power from reverse. 3. Collisions. There's a few vehicles that suffer from collision box issues, and the ones that I remember most are the Dolton Broadwing and the IO Growl. The Broadwing has issues with it's rear fender corners catching on curbs when taking shortcuts on the sidewalk which will cause you to either spin out or just stop. The Growl's collision box is a little too low to the ground, as a result it can't handle jumps very well and sometimes has the curb issue the Broadwing has, except with it's front bumper. 4. Dirt. When driving around in San Paro your vehicle starts to collect dirt and dust, however the dirt map for some vehicles and kits is broken. The Vegas has a section between the rear window and the trunk lid that does not collect any dirt. When using the Fastline kit for the Fresno, none of the kit parts accumulate dirt, but the rest of the car does. There's other vehicles that do this too name them if you know one that does it. 5. Weight. I suppose this one is just my own personal opinion, but the Charge Cisco is WAY too light weight. I understand it's supposed to be a light little roadster, but it can get bullied around like a hockey puck by pretty much any other vehicle. Seems to be an extremely common target for greifing.
