  1. Hello LO, it is absolutely needed that you patch the kill amounts for the roles Snowball Fight! And Elfin' Around with the new matchmaking system in place the grind is basically impossible. Even if you grind 2-3 hours daily for the whole event, you will not be able to complete any of these roles, their numbers are just too high, old-fashioned. I really recommend you think about these numbers and how long you want your players to grind for them! Besides this, it's awesome to have these events back and with the new match making system in place you seem to be heading into a great direction! kindest regards [Edit] The Rewards should be Account-Wide! Doing the events grind on multiple characters Enforcers and Criminals is basically inhuman.
  2. I have put a support ticket in, I know there's a backlog. That's okay, this is more of an update on the issue after some rudimentary testing. Basically, since the recent server move my base latency here in Australia on Jericho server was 300-330ms. That's a 1/3 second handicap right there. After RIOT went live, my base latency is up to 450-480ms, which is barely playable. At the high end of that scale it's impossible to be even remotely competitive in a Bronze v Bronze mission. Throw a silver or gold player on the opposing side and I don't stand a chance; too far behind the action. At worst levels I get latency spikes of over 500ms. At 525ms I can't enter / control a vehicle and randomly teleport to prior positions when on foot ... which makes even Open World impossible. Nothing has changed at my end for 3 years; same IP, same pc, same router, same ether-net cable. When Han server merged with Jericho I had 250ms at base. While not ideal, it was close enough to the 175ms I had been used to on (final iteration) Han server that it was not all that different. I just did a fresh G1 install in case it was Steam overlay causing the issue. But running without Steam in the background gave the same result. 480-515ms. I'm out of ideas... Can anyone help?

    ANTI CHEAT

Needs to be REMOVED from the game RIGHT FREAKIN NOW...... My Character with the keyboard and mouse UNPLUGGED continues to move on his own and look skyward. he moves in a RIGHT CIRCLE pattern I NEVER had this problem until the update 2 days ago. With repeated LAUNCHER REPAIRS these actions are starting to stress me out.. the ANTI-CHEAT still keeps kicking me alot... But with PERSISTENT log in attempts I'm able to log in... Now do I have to go on the bandwagon just to get an LO appointed "individual" to even look at these problems and respond accordingly???? The Launcher is FUCKED...my character doesn't have keyboard or mouse commands and goes ballistic on his own...even EMPTYING clips of ammo BY HIS FREAKIN SELF.. WHAT GIVES????????? Merged. no worries...I just LOST a FREE Premium weekend on the update issue... I've already uninstalled and will install AFTER the bugs get worked out.. good luck getting the buggy shit 2 wor
  4. Hello, my in-game username is NixonDT, and i've seen that over the past years of playing APB; no new noticeable police features has been added. I feel like it would be better if they include some real police cars and features used in real life. So if APB could insert some popular police cars with a little tweak to it; that'll be amazing. After all, this is a Police vs Criminals type of game. Here's a few short-term and long-term goals that I suggest you guys should add: Short-Term Police Vehicle Goals 2017 Dodge Charger: Ford Interceptor SUV: Chevrolet Tahoe: Long-Term Police Vehicle Goals Ford Taurus SHO: BearCat (Different from the Pioneer): Ford "Bomb Squad" Truck: Short-term Enforcer Car Feature Goals: More police lights on vehicle body New spotlight that actually work New siren sounds Detailed interior design Actual police horn sound Long-term Enforcer Car Feature Goals: Ability to deploy spike strips Speed radar in police vehicle In mission districts, AI vehicles move out the way when siren noise get near Option to switch between emergency lights with no sound and emergency light with sounds (maybe by adding a hotkey 1-5 when in vehicle) Headlights that can be activated/deactivated and have a noticeable reflection on the ground at night (For all vehicles)
  5. Cars in a physical garage: Imagine walking into a vast and visually stunning garage, where your entire car collection is showcased in all its glory. Each vehicle meticulously parked, ready for your admiration. You can take your time, stroll around, and appreciate the fine details of each car you've customized to perfection. The great feeling as you admire your carefully curated collection would be unparalleled. You could even invite friends over to showcase your automotive masterpieces, fostering a sense of community and friendly competition. Personalized NPC assistant: Your personalized NPC assistant would become more than just a helpful in-game character. With the ability to name and customize them, players would feel a genuine connection. Your assistant would be your trusted ally, expediting services, offering valuable tips, and guiding you through the game world. You'd have the freedom to choose their appearance and personality traits (by intergrating custom voice lines, behavior, even stance), creating a truly unique and memorable companion. Players would be eager to interact with their loyal assistant, further deepening their immersion in the game. In-game laptop for online market purchases: Picture having your very own virtual laptop, accessible from your in-game flat, garage, or office. With just a few clicks, you can navigate through the online market, buying and selling items with ease. This convenient feature would eliminate the need to visit specific locations for transactions, saving valuable time and enhancing the overall gameplay experience. The laptop could even be customizable to match your personal style, adding another layer of personalization. Apartments in an ultra-customizable game: An apartment in this ultra-customizable game would be more than just a living space. It would serve as a personal sanctuary, reflecting your tastes and achievements throughout the game. Decorate it with trophies from your epic missions (imagine actual trophies/medals hanging on the wall instead of just having them on a post-game screen), hang artwork depicting your favorite moments (screenshots), and host social gatherings with other players. The apartment could become a focal point for players to unwind, plan strategies, and proudly display their progress, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Mission variety and lore: The game's world would come alive with diverse and engaging missions that go beyond mundane fetch quests. Picture embarking on a thrilling heist that requires intricate planning and coordination, or participating in epic battles that have real consequences for the game world. Coupled with a rich lore that delves deep into the game's history, culture, and factions, players would be completely immersed in a narrative-driven experience. These unique and compelling quests would keep players invested and eager to uncover the next chapter of the game's captivating storyline. What about criminal dens? Criminals need to manufacture the stuff they do, steal the gasoline that they pour from somewhere. What about a fake money factory? High stakes bank, bank truck robbery to take it to your safehouse to dismantle and sell/progress tech, etc. Balance and realism in missions: The missions would be meticulously crafted to ensure logical coherence and authenticity. No longer would players find themselves using excessive force for minor objectives. Instead, they would face challenges that demand strategic thinking and appropriate actions. The consequences of intense firefights and critical decisions made during missions would carry weight, influencing future interactions and shaping the game world. This approach would create a truly immersive and believable experience. Faction relationships and conflict: Faction dynamics would be consistent and meaningful throughout the game. Enemies would remain enemies, and alliances would require genuine effort and negotiation (mostly between criminals). Players would feel a deeper connection to their chosen factions, knowing that their actions impact the larger conflict. Immersion-breaking scenarios would be eliminated, allowing players to fully immerse themselves in the dynamic and evolving game world. Three factions. Actual Police, Bounty hunters, and Criminals. Each with their own faction unique custom 3D cosmetics. Police would have eg. radios, bodycams, bounty hunters custom chains, etc. Immersive gameplay elements: Imagine engaging in intense missions where the use of jail cells becomes a strategic element. Arresting criminals and successfully transporting them to jail (instead of leaving the criminal in the spot they got arrested and not being able to move them) would be a high-stakes endeavor, requiring teamwork and quick thinking. That would be exciting as they execute armored transports to jail, or, as criminals, attempt to stage intense jailbreaks. These immersive gameplay elements would create memorable and adrenaline-pumping experiences. Mission design and rewards: Revamping missions to be more diverse, rewarding, and meaningful would keep players motivated and engaged. Each mission completed would contribute to a larger sense of accomplishment, and rewards would be meaningful, reflecting the effort and skill invested. Players would feel a sense of progress and satisfaction, incentivizing them to keep exploring the game's world and uncovering its many hidden treasures. Actual car navigation. It's 2023. Every car and phone has a comprehensive navigation system. By incorporating these enhancements, APB: Reloaded could evolve into an exceptional and captivating gaming experience. Listening to player feedback and continuously improving the game would undoubtedly attract a more dedicated player base, ensuring that the world of APB: Reloaded becomes a virtual playground where players can create, compete, and thrive together.
  6. I have no idea if Little Orbit have testers from the community that internally test everything new ( there is OTW but it's only for premium and not always online actually and just a trial to everything for free imo, You guys should open an application for a special role "tester" that internally test everything you are about to implement to the game to give feedback, obviously not everyone will be eligible. just a suggestions because after I saw the Weapon balance thread by our beloved @MattScott I thought it's actually a good idea to let good players with great experience ( a long one too ) be able to apply for the testing role to test stuff and give feedback on them.
  7. Hi Mr. Scott, I’m elated over the news of you guys acquiring APB after almost 6 months of no ‘new news’, really excited over your acquisition of this game. I’m sincerely hoping that you guys can make this game become as successful as what it is meant to become. However, as stated in the title, I would like to ask (on behalf of the entire APB:Reloaded Chinese player base) if LO has any plans or interest in adding a Chinese language option for us Chinese players. We started as a small group of dedicated APB:Reloaded Chinese players playing since the RTW era. Ever since then, we have been attempting to actively recommend this game to our friends and people who are interested in this genre. We even tried to communicate with the previous owner of the game, GamersFirst, where we did not really get any official responses. Eventually, the language barrier takes effect and severely hinders our effort. As a matter of fact, Chinese is the most spoken language in the world, indicating the colossal player base APB:Reloaded can access to, making it a huge market. Examples of such games would be PUBG & GTA:OL, the former’s popularity is especially applicable in the context of APB:Reloaded. With some research, it was observed that PUBG’s spiraling popularity in China is due to the ‘advertising’ & spread from many streamers, and we believe that it is strongly correlated with the fact that PUBG offers a Chinese language option. In our humble opinion, APB:Reloaded providing such an option will definitely provide a strong competition to other games in the market such as PUBG & GTA:OL. Not to mention many edges that APB:Reloaded has such as its unique customization & strategic gameplay. With regards to the “$0.10 a word (or higher)” concern (Quoted from the Spanish community thread), we believe that at an early stage it is OK to just partially translate the UI (E.g. Combat/Marketplace/Etcetera.) where it is understandable for players to know what is going on. If possible, some of us players do not mind assisting with the translation process, for free. Again, with regards to a larger community concern: HAN server. In our humble opinion, if we can start to get Chinese players into the game, the population may not be much of an issue anymore. You don’t even have to merge the servers if that is the case. Finally, please do not under-estimate the capacity & potential of Chinese gaming market . Statistics have proved that our large player base really generates a lot of revenue for the gaming industry (For example, https://newzoo.com/insights/rankings/top-100-countries-by-game-revenues/). Of course, we understand that LO has just taken over the company, and there is a ton of work for you guys to manage as well such as the engine upgrade. However, in our humble opinion, adding a language option is much simpler & practical compared to the engine upgrade, so why not do the former first . Regards, Vanthia TL:DR - Please consider adding Chinese language into the game! Thank you!
