  1. Enfs have a Cop rank. As a primarily a enforcer player, I have to say I don't like using LTL because it is a grind to get cop rank up, a large number of stuns are killed by trigger happy teammates. To make arrests easier, I could use a PIG and another weapon or grenade... I try not to look like a complete b!tch while playing and using a PIG and Perc just is so cheap. I want to unlock Cop hat, utility belt, more light bars and police uniform, but Crims just want LTL because salty revenge
  2. The new gun mechanics G1 introduced back in 2015 (I think it was) was trying to address this with an element of unpredictability with guns that change in behaviour: EG: Nfas True Orge, AMG Medusa, SWARM LMG series, ETC.
  3. What adult wears these?!
  4. A good point but I think for consistency for old and new players, controls should be kept as close to as they are now as possible with the mechanics adapted to it. But that's just my feelings.
  5. I suspect the game may possibly factor in the contact standings total rank... but I could be wrong on that. Again we can try to make a mathematical formula for the matchmaking and threat system to use but it should consider a lot of factors and it will never take in every possible factor into consideration sadly. Previous experience on another account, practice and experience with other shooter games, these things can't be factored in but I suppose trying to grade something human into a number for a automated bot to quantify is something of a impossible task. Can't help but reminded of an analogy a friend told me of "try to explain the complexities of politics to a dog!"
  6. Welp, with a new threat system then hopefully there will be more fairer populations. I'd seriously question what it is you're doing to get half of the district pissed off to the point of adding you to their ignore list lol, but if you are with a group and this does happen, maybe you should be considering if this is the right district for your.
  7. To have the ability to not play with people that may be anti social or even trolling is something I think should be a feature. Honestly if you have to ignore everyone in district just to inflate your threat then that is desperate. besides, surely they could do that anyway if they just K up in a empty district with a friend playing as a opponent anyway.
  8. Don't want to derail the thread so maybe send me a PM elaborating, you don't have to.
  9. Ok, well... Not much negative or positive constructive feedback I can give... This suggestion seems in theory to just be fine and would be good to go. The only thing I would say is if someone on your ignore list and the mission starts with that person, then unfortunately the ignore would have to be over ridden. One would hope that in the future that missions wouldn't mix people in matches with those who are on their ignore list, but that's a separate issues. We good.
  10. Sorry to say this but that's a rather system which isn't reflective in skill, This isn't Call of Duty. In APB tactics and strategy can and do factor into some missions and locations. The player that gets no kills and does all the targets can still be MVP, also there is Less than Lethal Arrests. Besides anyone could get a OCA, or Joker Carbine and you don't need skills to just run and gun. What is needed is really a new algorithm formula which factors in overall game play experience, something with end game points (excluding premium bonus), character rank and total hours played (except when in social). Bare in mind that current threat system does not factor in experience of gameplay in fightclub and Open Conflict, While these districts shouldn't impact the player's threat normally the player can improve their skills and become better in these districts still. Because of that, hours should be considered.
  11. I do have to agree with @Sergsininia, The ability to make content like symbols and music and selling it on the market place is something which is really quite ridiculous in how profitable it can be. @SalvickI did say that the leases should be short, although i could of emphasised on it a bit more. probably a day lease at most for Armas content but while boosters are nice for contact standing and money, It's not going to help much with improving the new player's skills despite feeling more rewarding. I do realise that there is a potential financial business loss for Armas Content being leases, but at a couple hours which could later lead to a sale for that leased item, I think it would be justifiable from a business aspect.
  12. Change the ATAC 424 stock so that it doesn't have a vertical grip then? I don't know why anyone wants a gun with less but ok then. Sorry but a new guns just for a new model without any attachments seems like something that is very niche and not really worth it for many people including staff. I would like to see something other than a vertical grip on some weapons. I don't know how you could think a ATAC looks more like a M16 than a CR-5, Granted I would say the that the CR-4 looks more like a M4 than a M16. One could pass a ATAC for a M4A4 but that's a bit of a stretch. ...Lixill can we have separate console and PC forums now... Also can we PLEASE and Forum and Game suggestions seperate?
  13. APB doesn't revolve around you. Well the someone other than myself expressing there feelings of elitism may be an issue then clearly there are people out there that do care about the game but have concerned. I'm not going to sugar coat what the community like at times, It can be toxic and yes I am a blunt person that calls things are she see it. I've told you before that I get both sides of the argument and I don't like it, but just because a player is bad at APB doesn't mean they don't want to get better or that they don't like/want to like APB. If someone is less skilled at something, it doesn't mean they have any less of a say than anyone else. Not sure if you're just a pain naturally but if not, good troll dude. I won't lie and say well done! After some thinking maybe I was hasty in my response to saying no more lootboxes without hearing out potential context, content and implementation. If it was was something that could ONLY be gotten by playing in game then I can support it this far depending on it's content. I suppose some higher tier gun and vehicle mods can be given as a lease as well as Joker Tickets, also shot term leases for some of the more exclusive weapons can be gotten including JMB legendary weapons on rare occations. On more common occasions I could see guns from Armas Gear pack's guns could be gotten as leases. Now I say guns from gear packs because JMBs alraedy give out leases for weapons not included in packs and I think these more newer and unique guns would help get experience for newer players and dispel the feeling of pay to win as you say. New armas content tends to actually be worse in aspects to stock in game content to deliberately not be pay to win but there are some guns that are the exceptions. -edit- Yeah I would say that actually most of the new content added to APB just adds more complexities. New gun mechanics and re-balancing isn't really for anyone's specific benefit over anyone else. The only additions to the game which is there to benefit new players are a improved UI and tutorial system... and I think that's probably it. The Refer a Friend system could be argues to encourage existing users to invite friends and to play/mentor them but there was no reward for the new player so the system was more abused than dethreating!
  14. Why wasn't Armas products made account wide form the beginning? I wish character bound content was made account wide but I doubt it would happen.
  15. That's about the and closest thing to a response you're going to get. Modern uniforms have changed and you know symbols are a no go but if you keep having to ask if it's ok, then you're probably not going to get a response until it comes via email from customer support. Sorry to be rude but please take a hint.
  16. Customer service did deal with some of the tickets from the old system. One would think they're going in order of date.
  17. It is equally just as much to help prevent rule breaking when a someone could scam a player or use an aimbot then go to a contact and change their identity.
  18. To treat the upgrade as a new vehicle unlock would may be technically possible however this may implicate trading and market place in the future, Any system which tries to monitor in game content may not give a accurate valuation. An example of how this could be bad would be if a actual trading system was added to APB, say it gave the players guidelines or suggestion on to the price of a vehicle but then would show the vehicle's original value because the game still thinks it's a 1 slot vehicle after having all slots upgraded. A Nulander pioneer with no slots is $40k, with all 4 slots unlocked then the value is $1mil. Say the game had a firm selling price range to prevent scamming in the future then cars would suffer from an extremely heavy loss in value on the market place. But that's 1 scenario that I came up with, there may be other implications. I really want upgradable slots as much as anyone else but If GamersFirst said it can't be done, then it's unlikely... I'd like to see Little Orbit prove them wrong though still!
  19. Matt Scott indicated a few times that APB is a game which can be competitive but it's a fine line between Competitive and Elitism. Unless these JMBs were unlocked solely by gameplay then I'm going to say no and this is just going to make the behaviour of the community possibly more toxic and we do not need more lootboxes!
  20. Sorry, it may be me but I'm a little confused, or is this suggestion more complicated than it needs to be? uhhh lets just do this in order then I guess 1. I agree that the dual wielded weapons should be primary slotted. 2. Just to be clear, this new primary would have separate ammo mags for the 2 dual wielded guns. (I had to reread the post once I got to number 6 because of the wording.) I think it would be fair to not have an increased amount of ammo and I'll explain in the next point but also you didn't mention at any point of your suggestion about damage of the dual weapons being different from the secondary on it's own. What add more confusion to me is "OBEYA FBW holds 15 rounds so as a Dual Wield, it will have 30 rounds", "Ammo pool is to be considered increased to compensate for lack of other weapon" ...well no the ammunition total doubled and scaled up but has it increased is up for debate contextually. 3. ...so the dual pistols fire at the same rate as if you were firing just of them... ...Now why would you do this...? Why not lower the overall damage of the guns and accuracy but have the primary shoot both individual guns as if they were seperate with double the fire rate? These Primaries could rival SMGs then, depending gun the dual wield is based on 4. I agree that the primary could have a bit of bloom the faster the guns are fired. 5. Again i had to reread the first point. If both dual wielded hand guns have independent ammunition in their clips then which one clip would be used when switching to secondary? 6. Switching shoulders and using marksmans will use the retaliative sided gun, Now that is a mechanic that is quite original and I like it! Overall yeah I feel it's over complicated in the explanations, although in play it's not as complicated. The fact a primary mixed with a secondary I felt complicated and confused things for me and I wonder if it would confuse new players using dual wielded guns. ...At this point it's been half an hour trying to get my head around the OP, and am wanting to give my thoughts and opinions but it's wording in context is just confusing me. Because it was so confusing I just wonna say no to the suggestion but it is so good in concept. Lastly I doubt this would be possible in APB due to the game's limitations even if Little Orbit fixes the the older broken codes, It would need a quite a bit of coding to do and need new animations. Bare in mind that the muzzle flash, tracers and audio would alternate from 2 different sides of the character which is something that has never been done on APB before, and that may not be possible for this game.
  21. This is one of those suggestions that has been asked at least 500 times but it should of been implemented from the start.
  22. First off calm down. No one is going to listen to you if all you do is swear and have a tantrum. Also a CBT, without force threat segregation players didn't have a reason to dethreat. This is something you're not going to like to hear but sometimes you do just need some tough love, some hard losses and then to stop and consider what you learnt from it. -Regardless of the game, What makes Pro League players so good? Their mentality that every loss is a opportunity to get better, to learn from their mistakes. Sometimes you might be outnumbered, out gunned and at a disadvantage with the location of the objective and then you just write that one off. But every other game which you lose, learn and take something away from it. I agree we need a way to encourage higher threats to be more considerate to lower threat players but the best thing to do is remove district threats. Open District is SUPPOSED to mixed the skills of players but this mix is meant to happen to both teams; both enforcers and criminals should get some high threat and low threat players to balance each other's teams out. That is what the original concept of Open Conflict was intended with match making. The problem with Open Conflict is that there is not enough players often in a district to fully mix up the player's threats and have them balanced, Also high threat players being in groups in Open Conflict sort of undermines the matchmaking system of open conflict. I don't want to restrict player's from being able to play with friends but groups in Open Conflict can be unfair and should be removed.
  23. I think everything that has been suggested here, LO have it on a list to consider already. One Little Orbit has got the new Anti Cheat system and the Engine Upgrade up and running, Word of mouth of APB making a comeback should raise the levels of the population naturally anyway.
  24. Are you kidding, Little Orbit have done more in the past half a month than Gamersfirst did in 2 years!
