Also recently in the game a player said "I swear I won't login back until I get the Duck from boxes" - nonetheless 30 minutes later s/he returned, yet without the Duck (and 250 euros).

When to expect any other in-game event type besides un-bans? These are not entertaining...

Meanwhile - could be interesting to know amount of bans after BattleEye implementation. BattleEye has definitely made the game better on Citadel by cleaning action district chat from severe cursing and non-stop hackusations. Also notoriety-5 players now live just few seconds instead of minutes as it was before BE.

The best part: this functionality (kick from bronze upon becoming silver/gold) was in the game in 2013, LO don't even have to code anything new. As for skipping missions one don't like - it's better to drive around town in a car instead of going afk because the game kick players out of action districts for afking and it may result in penalty (iirc - either cannot join a mission or notoriety drops).

I want a dog companion working as CQC / melee weapon. Or a cat maybe - as weaker middle-range weapon with delivery time (like a weak grenade from OPGL/EOL).

Autumn most likely. Because LO said they aren't doing anything else before engine upgrade and said upgrade will take at least 3 months, very optimistically (G1 couldn't do it in 4 years)

I'd take any event vs no event for another year - or two, three, five years (however long it'll take to update the engine).

No hope left after waiting for engine update for 4 years. Especially when LO didn't do anything with the prices after 6+ weeks despite calling them "obscene". It's not like they have to update whole game engine just to flip a switch in ARMAS database to trigger 75% discount for 6+ months old accounts (for example).

This discussion reminds me of similar topics on FPShooter forums where they explain how third person view is a cheat and should be banned/forbidden because they don't know how to use it properly and don't want to adapt. And thanks for the info about mouse wheel shooting! I hate LMB shooting because it makes aiming nearly impossible - especially combined with recoil, bloom, jumping, running and other "advantages" of APB aiming.

I just do market PvP while waiting for comprehensible player tiers and separation in the game. No way on Earth I can enjoy a game where fellow (silver!) player can do x5 more kills than me in the same match. Especially after he turns gold and start de-threating killing me 10 times.

People openly advertise buying/selling/scamming accounts, APB$, weapons for actual money transfers outside of the game. Also there are obvious scam attempts for legendaries ("send me nano through mail, I'll pay 10M after trying it"). Apparently /report does nothing as these activities last for weeks. Am I supposed to ignore these or there is an actually working report method? Also there is a notorious scammer on Citadel who managed to scam multiple guns and transfer them to clean account before s/he was banned on multiple older accounts. His collection atm is 34 legendary guns as s/he admitted. Not only *this person removed multiple paying customers of G1/LO from the game* (a lot of people quit after scams) but also disrupt activity of honest people by trading his ill-gotten assets and falsely accusing other traders in scamming. His/her existence with the stolen (or re-traded) guns is practically an invitation to use the same scheme instead of buying anything. AFAIK multiple people reported this and demand investigation and removal of the guns from the guy/gal. Could be nice to see LO actually taking actions in this case.

Actually BattleEye's work is easily noticeable on Citadel: before BattleEye whole action district chat consisted mostly of severe Russian cursing during first half of the day. Now it's mostly calm. Disregard, I'm really losing patience with this silence about ARMAS prices, sales, events, threat separation and many other things *which are already presented in the game* but aren't triggered by LO >.<

Existing events can be triggered without any engine upgrades. And FYI we've waited for new engine for like 4 years. When someone use phrase "after engine upgrade" this actually means "never" for returning players.

Also LO should properly trace and remove all scammed weapons from scammers and strip their new accounts of everything they have traded. There is an infamous scammer on Citadel who stole at least 5 weapons *from G1's/LO's paying clients* (some of them quit as the result) - he just moved the weapons from throw-away scamming accounts to his main, then passed it further to newly unbanned cheater account. Then he traded a bit and now have full collection of legendary weapons. AFAIK there are multiple tickets against the guy and his accounts yet LO did nothing concrete so far, except for banning throw-away accounts. If anything this is an invitation to do the same for the rest of the player base.

When are you going to remove negative karma on forums? Till then I'll use my daily negativity quote to make negative reputation for new posters who post boring non-sense in my opinion - so the "community" may better feel the impact.

Yup, that's exactly how I use YouTube's "community" - "kthkxbye" And thanks, Puffdragon! In-game I'm actually moderately awesome - I gift my clothing to new players to cheer them up and save their pennies for cars and Clotting Agent 2 + I do my best to fashion-up Citadel GM team by sending them my clothing (they are rocking trainee costumes by default). But on forums karma goes negative - then what's even the point to post on them anymore having stigma of the past? Instead I'll just continue to browse APB's sub-Reddit for stuff that matters (although it happens only once in a blue moon lately).

Just allow the karma to drop below zero and people will stop posting. I bet you don't believe me so here are some examples: Reddit has removed negative karma for posting because it kills the posting - and Reddit; Facebook didn't have it from beginning - and took over our whole planet.

It's not an ultimatum, it's a reality. 5+ years ago APB's character graphics and gameplay were revolutionary, now it's just one of many similar MMO games I have installed (both gameplay and graphics-wise). I'm used to devs' promises which takes up to forever to deliver so without actually working anti-cheat and half-decent matchmaking my interest vanishes quickly, I'm not going to work for free as a content for hackers and gold players.

Could be interesting to know - what LO is waiting exactly? I'm sure they can activate 50-90% sale right away instead of promising changes months later when I'll be playing other games due to the lack of any changes in APB.

Sure thing, I was patient for 5 years - while played other games. I'm going to get patient for 5 more years again if there will be no changes in matchmaking and anti-cheats till the end of June.

You mean people after 40 should walk around in death robes? It's not like there are any standards - I've seen older people walk completely naked in Barcelona. It surely is not too aesthetically pleasing but who am I to demand them to please me aesthetically?

You mean this scheme would be even better? White isn't "bright", it's just white. I'm an interface developer with 20 years experience, if designer in my team would create a crap contrast scheme like the present one s/he would be placed right into the "candidate for firing" list.
