I think it's alright, however regardless of what I think, we don't have the population to support this alongside missions and fightclub. Sadly I do not see this bringing in the necessary population for that either.

Thanks for the info Still, knowing G1 I'm pretty sure a hardware upgrade alongside the software changes going on wouldn't hurt. Then again we don't know how much of server issues are related to either side

I'm not really accustomed with servers so pardon me asking, the new hardware is only for back end, database stuff? If so, are there any plans for upgrading the servers that run the actual districts too? Edit: I'm not sure what back-end means in this case is what I mean. I suppose handling logins and saving player data etc?

Proper fire rate management > macro spam You'd need atleast 4 different RoF macros at different speeds to even come close to natural management. When will people understand that it's not max RoF only, or one fire rate for all.

Or make it 15 for the clean cut. 20vs20 baylan is a complete mess with people spawning behind you constantly. At 15v15 it seems to actually be playable from my experience. The map can't support 20vs20 and I never understood why they changed it to be that way.

We had some major server downtime with G1 some years ago. Can't really blame LO on their first major outage, can we? Lets just hope its a one time thing.

This thread is held back by its defective, backward wording and reasoning. Not only is this opaque, but it is also very feeble-minded and the overall argument is weak. This thread is an underachieving, half-witted piece of text that I do not like to any extent, or agree with in any shape or form.

Please do this as fast as possible. It sounds like a good way to introduce a much needed refreshing of the weapon pool that is used everywhere, without doing any actual balance changes yet.

How does RIOT compare to other APB game modes? The mode itself is fine for what it is. At the moment it's still tough loving but that's expected from a new release. With proper polish it can become a fun alternative for when you have done one too many missions in a day. Would you encourage your friends to play RIOT? I would encourage them to try the mode, yes. However in its current state, unless they are already familiar with APB I would not recommend the game until 3.5 How would you explain RIOT to someone who has never seen it? The simplest explanation for me is to call it a BR like game-mode. The rest can be explained mid gameplay. What ONE THING would you change about RIOT if you could? I would remove player load-outs. Not always getting the best guns is a part of what makes BR games so interesting to me. Winning duels or even games with a "bad" gun is a lot more rewarding. Weapons such as the OCA and N-tec should be legendary drops on the map if anything. The inherent spice you get from BR RNG is just completely lost when everyone just equips their N-tec using the prompt. To balance this, rework the loot of the weapon crates to include B-S tier weapons with semi-rng modifations. Essentially, make sure I don't get Hunting Sight on a shotgun etc. but do have a little bit of RNG. What is your favorite aspect of RIOT? The map changes are probably the most refreshing thing so far. Just the fact that it's new content is probably enough for most of the community. I can't tell you my favorite thing after just one test though. What about RIOT do you like the least? Probably the waiting times. Something has to be done about the large amount of downtime in between games. Even on live servers I doubt we will have the population that allows me to simply jump and start a new game after I die consistently. Perhaps limiting the amount of lives you can potentially buy would be a good way to reduce the overall time of one round. All though. maybe disabling the purchase of extra lives overall is the better idea.

Hey, I posted this in tech issues without a response so I'm pointing it out here. The remember me function for 2FA is completely broken, at least for me. I have to enter a new code EVERY time I go to my character selection screen and it's really starting to become annoying. Kind Regards Keks

Hey, the current 2FA system does not function correctly. With that I mean that the remember me function just doesn't work. I have to enter a code every time I go back to my character selection or restart the game. This is mildly annoying so I wanted to report it.

Making longer themes involves 0% scripting. It's literally just pressing buttons in a special order to glitch the music studio

Hey there, I made this special config that aims to improve performance by sneakily editing visuals that still keep the game at a respectable visual quality. The idea for it was that I can stream the game without it looking complete potato, because it seems those sort of graphics aren't really appealing to a lot of people. I'd change steel plating and then I'd elevate the morai, bishada and jericho to S-tier vehicles with buffs. Not every vehicle needs to be S-tier but this would introduce some variety in the higher tiers until we actually get new vehicles for all tiers.

The problem is that they are running the "detect the cheat first" strategy that all the bigger games use. Big games can afford to do that because the chance of running into the same cheater over and over is minimal. Doesn't work tho when we got 1 active 40v40 district so you just get them over and over which is very fun.
